Abstract

Aim: This research paper examined the role of environmental sustainability measures, including cleanliness, healthy, and safety, and their impact on visitors’ satisfaction and perception of service quality at Expo 20 20 Dubai. To limit the extent of the review, the analyst focused primally on the tourist sector of the United Arab Emirates. This constrained the outcome of the research and established research boundaries. Methodology: The analyst examined 3 to 5 tourists and 3 students or locals from various places to get the result. The qualitative technique was conveyed using an interview format. Findings: The major findings point to positive and encouraging reactions from locals and tourists, as well as opportunities to raise residents’ level of engagement to make the event a success. The key discoveries from Expo 2020 Dubai will assist policymakers and decision-makers in the Dubai economy. Implications/Novel Contribution: The major findings point to positive and encouraging reactions from locals and tourists, as well as opportunities to raise residents’ level of engagement to make the event a success. The key discoveries from Expo 2020 Dubai will assist policymakers and decision-makers in the Dubai economy.

Abstract

Aim: Everyone in the school community, including students, teachers, and parents, has a role in promoting a healthy environment. Students are expected to acquire the background they need to advocate for healthy lifestyle choices and independently implement preventative measures against illness. Schools can only succeed with UKS (School Health Business) initiatives that promote healthy eating and exercise as part of a broader focus on promoting positive health behavior among students. This paper aims to shed light on the significance of school health efforts in inspiring students to form and keep up with lifestyle choices that are good for their own and the community’s health. Methodology: In the context of the secondary school system in Serang City, a total of 300 participants were analyzed by regression analysis. Findings: Students who took part in school health efforts were found to be more likely to adopt healthier behaviors. There are many benefits to promoting education on healthy and clean lifestyles in schools, including broadening teachers’ horizons, increasing teachers’ motivation and output at work, and reducing tension in teachers’ interactions with their students. Implications/Novel Contribution: This study will provide light on the significance of health education programs in schools and how they affect healthy lives and the formation of strong moral character.

Abstract

Aim: The fourth industrial revolution was characterized by the pervasive application of technology in many spheres of daily life, including education. Regarding learning, technology is used to impart new information, not new beliefs or principles. This article investigates the concept of pedagogical learning as a potential alternative approach to learning in the modern era of digital technology. Methodology: The writing method uses a systematic review by drawing on previous research pertaining to 2019-2022. Findings: According to the study’s findings, digital pedagogy is an approach that is not only based on the teacher’s skills in using technology but also on how the teacher, in the role of a facilitator, uses technology to build thinking skills and develop students’ affective aspects. Learning centers on the students, and technology fosters a dynamic learning atmosphere. Learning, which is inquiry-based and requires students to observe and construct the existing reality, is made possible through technology. This will help develop a critical mindset, curiosity, empathy, and the desire to seek solutions to real- world problems; consequently, it will build knowledge and social intelligence. Learning in the digital age can be supplemented with an alternative approach called digital pedagogy. This approach seeks to cultivate young people capable of critical thinking, flexibility, and social intelligence to meet the challenges posed by the industrial revolution 4.0. Implications/Novel Contribution: The discipline of digital pedagogics arose from efforts to assist educators in developing the abilities required to thrive in the twenty-first-century classroom. The teacher’s ability to use technology is merely one component of the digital pedagogical method. This research provides insight into digital learning that will assist practitioners in understanding the value of digital learning and how it can be effectively applied .

Abstract

Aim: Based on data from the 2019 Population Census, the population of Banjarbaru City is 262,719 people; if as many as 50% of the people of Banjarbaru City use masks, approximately 135,200 masks are generated per day, or 4,056,000 masks waste per month. To analyze the effect of the incinerator on CO, CO2 and NO2 exhaust gases of mask waste before using wet coconut fiber and after using wet coconut fiber. Methodology: This research method uses the experimental method. The experimental design in this study is a pre-experimental design by providing treatment and measuring the results of the treatment carried out pretest and post-test. The research was conducted at the Mustika Graha Asri Housing Complex RT 11 RW 01 Loktabat Utara Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, in April 2022. Findings: From the results of statistical data processing using the paired t-test method, CO exhaust gas was obtained with a significance value of 0.853 (p> 0.05), CO2 with a significance value of 0.002 (p< 0.05) and NO2 with a significance value of 0.801 (p> 0.05). The exhaust gas that has a significant difference before and after using the wet coconut fiber filter is CO2 exhaust gas, while there is no significant difference between CO gas and NO2 exhaust gas. Many shortcomings still need to be addressed so that the combustion process in this simple incinerator is more optimal. Implications/Novel Contribution: The present study advances knowledge by comprehensively summarizing mask waste treatment using wet coconut filters. Additionally, this research offers useful information on the entire installation procedure and necessary tools.
