Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial aspect in achieving organizational goals. This study aims to investigate the effect of financial compensation on employee performance, by considering religiosity as a moderating factor. Expectancy Theory is used as a foundation to explain how the perception of financial compensation can motivate employees to achieve their work goals. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey type. The sample used a saturated sample consisting of 83 respondents who were the entire population sampled. The research instruments used included questionnaires to measure perceptions of compensation fairness, satisfaction with compensation, levels of religiosity, and achievement of employees' work goals. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression to evaluate the relationship between independent and dependent variables, as well as the interaction between financial compensation and religiosity. The results of the study The Effect of Financial Compensation on Employee Performance Analysis shows that both the perception of compensation fairness and satisfaction with compensation have a positive and significant influence on the achievement of work goals and the evaluation of the quality of employee work results. This indicates that employees who feel treated fairly in terms of compensation and are satisfied with the rewards received tend to achieve better performance, and the results also show that religiosity moderates the relationship between financial compensation and employee performance. The interaction between the perception of compensation justice and the level of religiosity shows that the positive influence of compensation on the achievement of work goals can be influenced by the individual's religious level. These positive influences tend to decrease as levels of religiosity increase, highlighting the importance of considering religious values in compensation management to support motivation and optimal performance in the workplace. Abstract

This paper explains that Islamic digital finance experiences a mechanical shift in implementation when there is financial technology innovation. A development strategy in line with Islamic law is essential to ensure that this innovation is not just an idea, but can also be implemented effectively according to the community's needs. Using a qualitative approach and secondary data as study material developed, compiled and concluded. The findings are that the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has shown commitment to strengthening the Islamic fintech ecosystem through various programs, such as Gebyar Safari Ramadhan and Ijtima' Sanawi, which have contributed to the Global Islamic Fintech Indicator ranking. In general, they have been unable to boost financial literacy and Islamic financial inclusion in the wider community. Another finding is the importance of developing Islamic digital financial innovations that are more inclusive and responsive to the needs of the halal food sector through the development of inclusive Islamic financial products and services, such as Sharia-based crowdfunding platforms and halal e-commerce with Sharia payments. The contribution of the findings is expected to map the weaknesses into the strengths of the global Islamic economy.

Abstract

Economic freedom is one of the fundamental aspects of human life and is also regulated in Islamic teachings. Islam grants individuals the freedom to engage in business and innovation, yet this freedom is bound by Sharia principles that prohibit practices such as usury (riba), uncertainty (gharar), and monopoly. This study aims to analyze the Islamic perspective on economic freedom through a case study of the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) Krupuk Rambak Lestari Eco in Tulungagung, focusing on intellectual rights, price stability, and the dynamics of digital platform markets. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the MSME successfully implements Sharia-compliant economic freedom by developing business innovations, maintaining price stability to ensure fairness and affordability, and utilizing digital platforms to expand its market ethically. The study concludes that economic freedom in Islam can be practically applied in MSME management while upholding the values of justice, transparency, and Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

This article examines the synchronization of Islamic economics and Pancasila economics within Indonesia’s national economic development paradigm through a conceptual case study approach. Indonesia’s economic development continues to face structural paradoxes between economic growth and social justice, reflecting the limitations of value-neutral and market-oriented economic models. This study positions Indonesia’s development paradigm rooted in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution as a conceptual case to analyze how Islamic economic principles and Pancasila economic values converge and interact as an integrated ethical framework.Using qualitative library-based research, this study analyzes primary and secondary sources on Islamic economics, Pancasila economics, development philosophy, and constitutional economics published predominantly after 2015. Data are examined through philosophical-normative and conceptual-comparative analysis to identify shared values, structural alignments, and institutional challenges in synchronizing both economic systems. The findings reveal that Islamic economics and Pancasila economics share foundational principles, including social justice, welfare orientation, moral responsibility, and balanced state intervention. However, the synchronization remains constrained by policy fragmentation, symbolic application of Pancasila economics, limited institutional integration of Islamic economic instruments, and pressures from global market structures. This study argues that the integration of Islamic economic values does not represent ideological substitution but rather strengthens the substantive foundations of Pancasila economics. This research contributes theoretically by positioning synchronization as a constitutional and philosophical necessity and offers a conceptual foundation for developing a more just, inclusive, and value-based economic development model in Indonesia

Abstract

Marketing transformation is an important need for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including traditional herbal medicine businesses, in dealing with changes in consumer behavior and the development of digital technology. This study aims to analyze the transformation of the marketing strategy of Asem Turmeric Herbal Products from traditional marketing to a semi-digital approach in Oemah Turmeric Asem Kaligangsa. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation during the period from July to October 2025. The data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, and was tested for validity through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results show that before the transformation, marketing strategies were still dominated by direct sales and word-of-mouth promotion with limited market reach. The transformation to semi-digital marketing is done gradually through the use of simple digital media such as instant messaging apps and social media, without abandoning traditional marketing. The implementation of this strategy opens up opportunities for market expansion, increased product visibility, and attracted younger consumers. However, marketing transformation also faces challenges in the form of limited digital literacy, human resources, and promotion consistency. This study concludes that semi-digital marketing is an effective adaptive and contextual strategy in supporting the sustainability of traditional herbal medicine businesses without having to fully digitize.Viewed from the perspective of sharia economics, the semi-digital marketing practices applied emphasize business ethical values such as honesty, fairness, halal product guarantees, and the principle of benefit, so that it is in line with the principles of sharia-based business sustainability

Abstract

The Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) plays a crucial role in ensuring Sharia compliance and maintaining the integrity of Islamic banking operations. This study examines the role of the SSB in enhancing Sharia compliance and the financial performance of Islamic banks in West Java, Indonesia. Employing a case study approach with a mixed-methods design, this research utilizes primary data collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with Sharia Supervisory Board members, bank management, and compliance officers, as well as secondary data obtained from audited annual reports. Quantitative analysis is conducted using multiple regression techniques, while qualitative data are analyzed thematically to capture governance practices and supervisory mechanisms. The results indicate that the effectiveness of the Sharia Supervisory Board—measured by expertise, independence, frequency of meetings, and level of involvement—has a significant positive impact on Sharia compliance and the financial performance of Islamic banks. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening Sharia governance structures to enhance both compliance and sustainability of Islamic banking institutions. This study contributes empirical evidence from a regional context and offers practical insights for policymakers and practitioners in improving Sharia governance frameworks.

Abstract

Digital transformation is reshaping how creative-economy MSMEs access finance and markets, yet rising platform fees and digital-security risks can undermine fragile margins. This study examines the role of digital-based Islamic microfinance in empowering creative-economy MSMEs in Cirebon Regency, Indonesia. The research applies a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, limited observation, and document review with MSME owners/managers and LKMS/BMT informants, selected via purposive and snowball sampling. An iterative thematic analysis was used to develop themes. Findings reveal three interrelated mechanisms. First, fit-for-purpose digitization strengthens QRIS transaction traceability and digital bookkeeping, building digital trust that functions as “new collateral” for financing access. Second, platform cost pressures and algorithmic visibility push MSMEs to rebalance marketing toward owned channels to protect margins. Third, a hybrid of human touch and data driven monitoring improves risk mitigation through early warning signals, ethical restructuring, and debt-literacy support. The study advances a hybrid digital–human empowerment model for Islamic microfinance and highlights governance conditions needed to avoid exclusion and overload. Future research should compare subsectors and test fairness in credit scoring across providers.

Abstract

The development of Islamic fiscal policy has become a strategic issue in the modern economy in line with increasing income distribution inequality, state fiscal pressures, and demands for sustainable development. Based on maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, Islamic fiscal policy offers a normative approach that emphasizes distributive justice, social welfare, and the role of the state through the instruments of zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, and ethical public spending. This research aims to map the intellectual structure, patterns of literary linkages, and the direction of research development at the intersection of Islamic fiscal and economic policy. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a coupling bibliometric analysis of the publication for the period 2021–2025 sourced from the Dimensions database, then visualized using the VOSviewer software. The results show the formation of several interconnected main clusters, with specific documents and authors occupying a central position based on high total link strength, reflecting conceptual consolidation in the themes of fiscal justice, redistribution instruments, and the integration of modern fiscal policies with sharia principles. In conclusion, the Islamic fiscal policy literature shows a strong level of scientific integration and cohesion, and has the potential to be an important foundation in the development of fair, inclusive, and sustainable public policies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of investment knowledge on students' interest in choosing Islamic gold savings as an investment instrument. The discrepancy between the theoretical understanding of Islamic economics students and their low involvement in investment practices forms the basis for this study. Using a quantitative approach, 30 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS 27 through validity, reliability, normality, simple linear regression, and t-tests. The analysis results show that investment knowledge has a positive and significant effect on students' investment interest (calculated t 4.148 > table t 1.984; sig. < 0.001), with a contribution of 38.1% (R² = 0.381). This finding confirms that investment understanding is an important factor in shaping student interest, in line with the Theory of Planned Behavior framework.
