AL-KABIR adalah jurnal ilmiah berkala yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Lingga, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia dengan online ISSN 2721-5768 dan Print ISSN 2541-3325. Jurnal ini dikhususkan untuk mengkaji ilmu dan penelitian pendidikan islam, sehingga diharapkan para ilmuwan, cendikiawan, profesional, dan peneliti yang memiliki disiplin ilmu pendidikan islam dapat berkontribusi menerbitkan artikelnya untuk disebarluaskan melalui jurnal AL-KABIR ini. Untuk penerbitan jurnal artikel akan dipilih terlebih dahulu, kemudian akan melalui proses review, dan proses pengeditan. Jurnal AL-KABIR diterbitkan pada bulan Maret dan Oktober. AL-KABIR menggunakan mendeley sebagai citation manager dan menggunakan Plagiarism Checker & Turnitin sebagai screening plagiarism. Jurnal AL-KABIR belum terindexs SINTA karena sudah 2 tahun terbengkalai oleh pengelola Jurnal sebelumnya, dan untuk kedepannya dengan adanya pengelola Jurnal yang baru, AL-KABIR akan semakin baik. editor dan reviewer yang ada di jurnal AL-KABIR ini terdiri dari berbagai perguruan tinggi yang ada di Indonesia Fokus penelitian dari jurnal AL-KABIR ini adalah menerbitkan kajian-kajian yang berkualitas tinggi pada bidang kajian islam sebagai ilmu pengetahuan PAI, pengajaran PAI, Pembelajaran PAI, pengembangan kurikulum PAI, lingkungan belajaran PAI, pendidikan guru PAI, teknologi PAI, penilaian pembelajaran PAI, pengembangan pendidikan, dan studi berhubungan dengan semua tingkatan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims 1) to determine the implementation of the Tahfidzul Qur'an program in shaping the discipline and responsibility character of students at SMPIT Insan Cendekia Singkep, and 2) to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the Tahfidzul Qur'an program at SMPIT Insan Cendekia Singkep. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the school principal, tahfidz teachers, and students. The data analysis technique used was Miles and Huberman's qualitative analysis technique. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Tahfidzul Qur'an program in fostering the discipline and responsibility character of students at SMPIT Insan Cendekia Singkep is carried out systematically through grouping students based on their ability to read the Qur'an and the use of the wafa method in memorization, muroja'ah (review), and tajwid learning. This program is effective in shaping discipline, as reflected in achieving memorization targets, arriving on time, obeying school regulations, and completing tasks within the specified time. The program also develops responsibility character, such as consistency in maintaining memorization, completing tasks, and being accountable for their actions. The supporting factors of this program include the quality of teachers, adequate school facilities, and supervision and support from parents. On the other hand, the inhibiting factors include the lack of student readiness, insufficient number of Qur'an teachers, a lack of parental supervision at home

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using instructional media on students' learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep Pesisir. The background of this research is the low motivation of students in learning PAI, which is influenced by internal and external factors, particularly the school environment. The use of instructional media is expected to be a solution to increase students' interest and motivation to learn. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 55 students as research samples. The Chi-Square test results showed a significant effect between the use of instructional media and learning motivation with an Asymp. Sig value of 0.001 < 0.05. The correlation test indicates that variable X (instructional media) and variable Y (learning motivation) have a perfect correlation, with a significance value of 0.01 < 0.05 and a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.957, which falls within the perfect correlation range (0.81-1.00). The results of this study show that the use of instructional media has a significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation. These findings indicate that innovative and interactive instructional media can encourage students to be more active in the learning process, particularly in the subject of PAI. The study’s recommendations emphasize the importance of schools providing adequate instructional media facilities to support a more effective learning process.
