Abstract

Study of Productivity and Income of Lowland Rice Farming the Impact of Agricultural machinery Aid, Seeds and Fertilizer is implemented in Malang Regency with sample of location and sample of farmer determined purposively (sampling) in 3 (three) Subdistricts and 6 (six) farmer group who received machinery aid, seeds and fertilizers. The sample of respondents was determined by non-proportioned random sampling method with 15 farmer groups each. Thus, the number of respondents as many as 90 members of the group. This study aims to determine the production, productivity and income of lowland rice farming before and after obtaining agricultural machinery aid, seeds, and fertilizers. Measurement of production is done by weighing the weight of dry grain harvest with tons unit. Productivity is measured by a partial productivity approach that is the production per hectare. Income is analysed using financial analysis. Comparative analysis using Students Test. The results showed that government aid in the form of agricultural machinery, seeds, and fertilizer subsidies can increase production 0.179 tons with an average land area of 0.44 hectares, increase productivity by 0.41 ton / ha or increase 7%, and increase income by Rp2,871,465.00 per hectare or increase 28.96%.

Abstract

A study was conducted to investigate the effect of antagonistic microorganisms and dose for the damping off control in spinach that were carried out in Banguntapan village, Banguntapan sub-district, Bantul district, from July to September 2016. The study used a complete randomized block design consisting of 5 treatments in the control of damping off, fungicide propineb, Rhizobakteri, Trichoderma sp, mixture of Trichoderma sp and Rhizobakeri with replication 4 times each treatment. The application is done by watering the land one day before the spinach seeds are planted, while the observation is done from the seeds planted until the plant is 30 days with 3 days interval. The results showed that the control treatment with the mixture of Rhizobacteria and Trichoderma sp concentration of 3 millilitres in 1 litter water showed effective results based on the analysis of the incubation period, the percentage of attacked plants and the intensity of the attack.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of production technology and the potential of shallot cultivation of sub optimal land in the off season. The research was conducted in Sanden, Bantul from March to May 2017. This research used survey method. The sampling stage is the selection of villages and farmer groups conducted purposively. The number of samples is determined proportionally, while the sample determination is done by snowball sampling technique with 30 persons. The observation parameters of shallot yields were: diameter of tube, weight of tube, rotten / porous tube and weight shrinkage after being stored for 3 months. The data has been collected by descriptive analysis in tabulation form. The results showed that the technology used in the cultivation of shallots in the off season is not different from the in season. The varieties developed are biru, bima and tiron with 20 x 20 cm spacing, organic and inorganic fertilizer use. Implementation of technology in the off season roduces a product of 7,60 kwintal / hectare and lower than in the in season of 92,51 quintals/hectare. Characteristics of off-season shallot were: diameter 20,5 mm; Weight per tube 2,8 grams; Tubers porous / rotten very low (0%) and shrinkage store 25,25%. The result of shallot in the off season has the potential to be developed into seeds.

Abstract

Melon growing demand due to increasing population, increasing public awareness of nutritional value and vitamins, as well as the per capita income of the population increased. Efforts to meet the demand of melon can be done with proper cultivation techniques with organic fertilizers so that food safety is guaranteed. The purpose of the study was to find a melon organic fertilizer of several varieties. In addition to knowing the adaptability of three varieties of melon in the lowlands as the material for the assembly of new varieties. The method used is the experiment with the complete randomized block design with three varieties (Action 434 varieties, Jade Dew varieties , Golden Aroma varieties, and four kind of organic fertilizer, that are liquid organic fertilizer P1D1 Grow, liquid organic fertilizer, Organox, and liquid organic fertilizer Nasa The result showed that the best growth (length of the plant and chloroil) is shown by the varieties of Action 434. The highest yield reached 1,94 kg. The organic fertilizer is good is Organox

Abstract

The study aims to determine the perception of farmers towards innovation small tuber onion production from seeds (TSS) environmentally friendly in Grobogan. The study was conducted in July 2015 in the village of Brabo, District Tanggungharjo, Grobogan. Respondents in the sample taken intentionally (purposive sampling) of the onion farmers in Tanggungharjo, Penawangan, Klambu, and Godong District with totaling 30 farmers. Data taken include respondent characteristic, relative advantages of innovation, compatibility, complexity, tribality and observability. Data were analysed descriptively. The results showed that most respondents have aged between 38-47 years old, the level of high school education, and old farm between 3-12 years. In general, the perception of farmers towards innovation small tuber onion production from seeds (TSS) environmentally friendly in Grobogan were high, so it deserves to be disseminated to farmers through a system integration approach of the group.

Abstract

This paper aimed to find out the level of farmer adoption of organic fertilizer in rice cultivation. Study do from April to June 2016 in the Pandowoharjo Village, Sleman Sub-District at Sleman District. Data was retrieved through interview of 30 respondents as samples, selected based on the proportional random sampling of 439 farmers. Data were statistically analysed to describe the farmer adoption level of organic fertilizers organized into three categories: high, medium, and low. The results showed that the rate of adoption use based on parameters of the correct type, dose, method and time of organic fertilizers showed high category (13.34%), medium (37.50%), and low (49.17%). Furthermore, counselling to increase knowledge about the application of organic fertilizer in rice farming and based on the evaluation showed increase of 87 percent.
