Abstract

Self-regulation for preschool children is very important to support children’s adjustments in all situations and conditions. The current problem is the instrument of self-regulation is more focused on regulation in learning which is not suitable for young children. This study aims to examine the validity and reliability of Preschool Self-Regulation Assessment (PSRA) in Indonesia by modifying several children self-regulation theories. The instrument was translated from English into Indonesian and it retranslated into the native language by linguists. The questions, then, were validated through a process of professional judgment and cognitive de-briefing. The study was carried out to 179 children aged 6 to 7 years old. Data were analyzed by using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). It showed that there are 5 dimensions of children's self-regulation, namely: attentional focus, behavioral control, self-motivated, self-autonomy and emotional control. The result showed that the five-dimensional model is agreed with the data and prove to measure children’s self-regulation. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient value was 0.899, indicating high scale reliability. Thus, the preschool children’s self-regulation assessment has well psychometric for further use. Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia masuk dalam kategori pengguna media sosial diatas rata-rata global yakni rata rata menggunakan selama 2 jam 24 menit. Tingginya waktu penggunaan tentu membawa pengaruh terhadap penggunanya. Penelitian ini akan melihat intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan Alexithymia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan subjek penelitian pengguna media sosial yang duduk di kelas Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Wilayah Bandung dan Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling dengan menggunakan google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang significant antara penggunaan media sosial dengan level alexithymia. Gambaran Alecithymia responden berada pada kategori sedang dengan responden laki-laki memiliki level alexithymia yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between fear of missing out (FoMO) and social comparison among college students who use Instagram with a correlational quantitative research type. The research was conducted on a sample of 360 students using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale model which is distributed with the help of the Google Form application. Instrument test using validity test and reliability test. Measuring tools used are Pzybylsky’s Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) scale and social comparison scale which refers to Festinger’s theory. To test data analysis using the normality test with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov technique, linearity test, and hypothesis testing with the help of the SPSS application version 26 for Windows. The results of the study used Spearman's rho nonparametric test analysis which showed that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between fear of missing out with a correlation coefficient of 0.654; p=0.000 (p0.05). That is, the higher the level of fear of missing out, the higher the level of social comparison among students and vice versa.Keywords: fear of missing out, social comparison, instagram

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan salah satu lembaga penyebaran agama Islam terbesar dan tertua di Indonesia. Berdasarkan keberadaan dan eksistensinya, pesantren dianggap memiliki peran penting sebagai wadah penyebaran moderasi beragama di Indonesia. Di era modern ini, banyak isu-isu radikalisme yang menggunakan nama agama sebagai dalih, yang pada akhirnya memicu perselisihan dan perpecahan dalam masyarakat. Pesantren, sebagai lembaga pembentukan karakter dengan nilai-nilai luhur, diharapkan mampu menangani tantangan zaman ini. Moderasi beragama menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan kehidupan beragama dan berbangsa yang harmonis, damai, serta toleran, yang pada gilirannya akan mempercepat kemajuan Indonesia menjadi negara yang diberkahi (baldatun tayyibatun wrabbun ghofurun). Salah satu peran penting pesantren dalam mewujudkan moderasi beragama di Indonesia adalah dengan mengamalkan sikap tawasuth (moderat), tawazun (keseimbangan), i’tidal (keadilan), dan tatharruf (universalisme). Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui studi literatur. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis isi, dimulai dari pencarian informasi, pembuatan deskripsi, pengumpulan data secara sistematis, hingga penjelasan secara deskriptif. Sumber referensi yang digunakan meliputi jurnal, majalah, dokumen, serta situs berita online yang membahas tentang pesantren dan moderasi beragama di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pesantren selain sebagai media dakwah agama islam juga berpera pada perindustrian dan karya sehingga menjadikan seorang santri tidak hanya sholeh secara akhirat namun juga sholeh secara dunia dan mushlih atau bermanfaat untuk sesama umat dan akhirnya mampu berperan sebagai pemersatu umat dan menjalankan moderasi beragama yang maslahat di Indonesia.

Abstract

The true seed of shallot (TSS) is an alternative technology to boost high-quality seeds, farming cost efficiency, and shallot productivity in Indonesia. Despite the advantages of TSS, including extended shelf life and lower seed requirements, farmer and consumer acceptance remains limited due to the genetic and physiological constraints leading to single and large-sized bulbs, as an effect of low aggregation ability. This caused shallot bulbs from TSS to have a low price and were not suitable for use as seed bulbs. This research addresses challenges in shallot (Allium cepa L. Aggregatum group) production from TSS by investigating the impact of various plant growth regulators (PGRs) treatments and different soaking time on shallot growth and aggregation ability of 'Tuk Tuk' planting from TSS. The study in Yogyakarta employed a split-plot randomized block design from July to November 2018. The main plot varied the PGRs combination (9 treatment), while the subplot used the soaking time of 4 hours and 12 hours. The results indicated that a GA₃ concentration of 100 ppm, in synergy with NAA at 50 ppm for 12 hours, effectively enhanced aggregation compared to another treatment. Notably, the 'Tuk Tuk' shallot, characterized by low aggregation ability, demonstrated improved potential through seed treatment by PGRs, which could raise the number of bulbs from one to an average of two bulbs per plant. This study enhanced shallot aggregation ability, providing valuable insights for research and developing shallot production from true seeds in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian terkait pengaruh pola asuh terhadap tanggung jawab akademik masih jarang dilakukan dalam konteks pendidikan semi-militer. Sebagian besar studi sebelumnya lebih banyak difokuskan pada lingkungan pendidikan umum, sehingga kurang memperhatikan karakteristik unik pendidikan berbasis semi-militer seperti di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji tanggung jawab akademik yang ditinjau dari pola asuh keluarga taruna di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional, dengan pengambilan data menggunakan skala tanggung jawab akademik yang disusun oleh O'Neill (2022) serta instrumen pola asuh didasarkan pada teori gaya pengasuhan Baumrind dengan menggunakan The Parenting Style and Dimension Questionnaire (PSDQ). Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 185 responden yang merupakan taruna dari batalyon I dan III. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster stratified random sampling. Terdapat pola asuh otoriter dan otoritatif yang masing-masing memiliki tingkat pengaruh yang berbeda pada tanggung jawab akademik yang dimiliki oleh taruna di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. Pola asuh otoriter dinilai lebih sejalan dengan pendidikan di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang yang menerapkan semi-militer. Sedangkan pola asuh otoritatif dinilai akan membutuhkan penyesuaian serta adaptasi yang lebih untuk bisa mengikuti dan memiliki semangat yang tinggi dari setiap taruna di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Independence in daily activities is very important for schizophrenia survivors, but disturbances in this aspect have the potential to cause serious problems such as impaired role function, decreased productivity, and increased dependency that burdens families and society. This study aims to determine the description of instrumental independence in daily living activities among job club workers at Klender Islamic Mental Hospital. This study used a qualitative phenomenological method with three informants, two men and one woman, with the following characteristics: schizophrenia survivors who had previously undergone rehabilitation at Klender Islamic Mental Hospital, participated in the Job Club program, and were aged 35-44 years. This study found that schizophrenia survivors participating in the Job Club program at the Klender Islamic Mental Hospital demonstrated varying levels of independence in performing instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, managing finances, and using transportation. Two out of three informants were able to perform these activities independently, while one informant still required assistance. This level of independence is influenced by participation in Job Clubs as well as other factors such as cognitive development, parenting styles, and socioeconomic environment. These findings suggest that with structured support and ongoing rehabilitation, schizophrenia survivors can rebuild functional independence and return to their roles in society. Kemandirian dalam aktivitas sehari-hari sangat penting bagi penyintas skizofrenia, namun gangguan pada aspek ini berpotensi menimbulkan masalah serius seperti terhambatnya fungsi peran, menurunnya produktivitas, serta meningkatnya ketergantungan yang membebani keluarga dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemandirian instrumental activity daily living pada pekerja job club RSJ Islam Klender. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologi dengan informan  berjumlah 3 orang, 2 laki-laki dan 1 perempuan, dengan ciri-ciri: penyintas skizofrenia yang sebelumnya pernah menjalani rehabilitasi di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Islam Klender, mengikuti program Job Club, dan berusia 35-44 tahun. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penyintas skizofrenia yang mengikuti program Job Club di RSJ Islam Klender menunjukkan tingkat kemandirian yang bervariasi dalam melakukan aktivitas instrumental kehidupan sehari-hari (IADL) seperti berbelanja, memasak, membersihkan rumah, mengelola keuangan, dan menggunakan transportasi. Dua dari tiga informan mampu menjalankan aktivitas secara mandiri, sedangkan satu informan masih memerlukan pendampingan. Tingkat kemandirian ini dipengaruhi oleh partisipasi dalam Job Club serta faktor-faktor lain seperti perkembangan kognitif, pola asuh, dan lingkungan sosial ekonomi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan dukungan yang terstruktur dan rehabilitasi yang berkelanjutan, penyintas skizofrenia dapat membangun kembali kemandirian fungsional dan berperan kembali di masyarakat.

Abstract

The limited number of studies evaluating the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum in Islamic Psychology programs forms the background of this research, despite its crucial role in ensuring the sustainability, effectiveness, and quality of MBKM implementation in religious higher education institutions. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the MBKM curriculum in the Islamic Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da’wah, UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). A qualitative case study approach was employed with six purposively selected participants. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, analyzed using Atlas.ti 8, with data reliability tested through source triangulation and double coding, yielding a Krippendorff’s Alpha value of 0.979, which indicates very high reliability. The results show that in terms of context, MBKM is relevant to student competency development; in terms of input, the program expands access to learning experiences but still faces obstacles in socialization and infrastructure, including the ‘Merpati’ application system. In the process dimension, internship and student exchange activities provide significant benefits but remain constrained by course conversion and differences in academic culture. In terms of product, MBKM contributes to enhancing students’ skills, although learning outcomes are not yet evenly distributed. The study concludes that the implementation of MBKM in the Islamic Psychology Study Program has had a positive impact, but requires continuous improvement in socialization, academic administration, and technological system utilization. The theoretical implication of this research enriches the literature on MBKM evaluation in the context of Islamic Psychology, while the practical implication provides a basis for recommendations to study program managers in formulating adaptive and contextually relevant strategies for improving MBKM implementation.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the perception of farmers towards innovation small tuber onion production from seeds (TSS) environmentally friendly in Grobogan. The study was conducted in July 2015 in the village of Brabo, District Tanggungharjo, Grobogan. Respondents in the sample taken intentionally (purposive sampling) of the onion farmers in Tanggungharjo, Penawangan, Klambu, and Godong District with totaling 30 farmers. Data taken include respondent characteristic, relative advantages of innovation, compatibility, complexity, tribality and observability. Data were analysed descriptively. The results showed that most respondents have aged between 38-47 years old, the level of high school education, and old farm between 3-12 years. In general, the perception of farmers towards innovation small tuber onion production from seeds (TSS) environmentally friendly in Grobogan were high, so it deserves to be disseminated to farmers through a system integration approach of the group.
