Jurnal Arba - Multidisiplin Pengabdian Masyarakat (JMPM) merupakan jurnal peer-review open access yang terbit empat kali dalam setahun (Februari, Mei, Agustus dan November). Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the legislative capacity of student parliament members through a Legal Drafting training session held at the Legislative Training 1 (TL 1) event organized by the Student Representative Council (DPM-KM) of Universitas Tidar. The activity took place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the RW 7 Hall, Potrobangsan Village, North Magelang. The training focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of legal drafting, hierarchy of norms, formulation of legal provisions, and simulation of legislative sessions. The method used included interactive lectures, discussions, case analyses, and drafting simulations based on the provided legal drafting module. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ conceptual and practical competence in drafting organizational regulations. This activity is expected to improve the governance and quality of regulatory products produced by the student legislative body.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang masih ditemukan pada satuan pendidikan dasar dan berpotensi menghambat perkembangan karakter serta kesejahteraan psikososial peserta didik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat upaya penanganan dan pencegahan bullying di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Muhammadiyah Linggapura melalui kolaborasi antara orang tua dan pihak sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai bullying, pelaksanaan parenting class bagi wali murid, serta pendampingan sekolah dalam merumuskan langkah-langkah pencegahan yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Subjek kegiatan terdiri atas guru dan orang tua peserta didik sebagai mitra pengabdian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra mengenai bentuk, dampak, dan strategi penanganan bullying, serta terbangunnya kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya sinergi orang tua dan sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan kondusif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong sekolah untuk mengembangkan komitmen bersama dalam pencegahan bullying sebagai bagian dari budaya sekolah. Dengan demikian, kolaborasi orang tua dan sekolah terbukti menjadi pendekatan yang efektif dalam mendukung upaya pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

The necessity to enhance university students' proficiency in public English-speaking and intercultural awareness is becoming progressively critical, especially as numerous students may grasp fundamental language structures but lack the confidence to articulate cultural and literary concepts persuasively in public contexts. In response to this challenge, the community devotion program established a learning-by-performing approach through an English-medium cultural showcase and a wayang-themed theatrical performance titled “Bounded in Art, Connected by Culture”. The event took place on 19 December 2025 at Campus 2 of Universitas Harapan Bangsa, Purwokerto, as a collaboration between the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Sanggar Kie Bae community arts group. The participants comprised nine faculty members, 52 students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, students from four partner universities (five from each institution), and eight international students from Sudan, Nigeria, the Republic of the Congo, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, and Cameroon. The program included Indonesian cultural performances, presentations of international students' home cultures, an English-language theatrical performance of the "Rama–Sinta", and an intercultural exchange session. Survey findings revealed exceptional student satisfaction (M = 4.63) and elevated levels of intercultural awareness and intercultural communicative competence (ICC) (M = 4.41), but English speaking confidence was assessed as moderate to high (M = 3.51), with the most significant improvements noted in cross-national interactions. These findings emphasize the efficacy of a performative, sociocultural approach as an inclusive paradigm for internationalization at home and underscore its role in cultural preservation through English as a medium of communication.

Abstract

Advances in information technology require vocational school students to possess strong digital literacy skills and be aware of their psychological well-being. This community service activity was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah Karangpucung as part of the TMMD program, a collaboration between Al-Irsyad University Cilacap (UNAIC) and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). This program aims to improve digital literacy understanding and introduce the use of website-based psychological analysis technology with the Naive Bayes algorithm. This algorithm functions to process student psychological assessment data and classify them into interest and talent categories based on the highest probability, so that the results obtained are more measurable and objective. Based on the pretest evaluation, only 30% of students correctly understood their interests and talents based on self-assessment. After participating in digital literacy socialization and training on the use of the Naive Bayes-based psychological analysis system, posttest scores increased to 90% of students who had identified their interests and talents based on the recommendations of the system analysis results. This indicates a significant increase in students' understanding of scientific interest and talent mapping assisted by digital technology. This activity serves as a concrete example of synergy between universities, defense institutions, and vocational schools in building an educational ecosystem that is adaptive to technology and supports ongoing monitoring of students' psychological well-being.
