Abstract

A natural environment is a place or container where living things are. Many things, including humans, are in the environment and can help living things. For humans, many things can be obtained from the natural environment, including inner peace. This study examines the relationship between Nature Relatedness (NR) and Psychological Well-Being (PWB). This research was conducted using a correlational method and data collection using Google Form. NR is measured using the Relatedness Scale, adapted from the English scale (Nisbet, Zelenski, and Murphy, 2009). Meanwhile, PWB was measured using Ryff's Psychological Well-Being (RPWB) developed by Ryff (1989). This research was conducted using the convenience sampling method on 42 students in Semarang. Testing the hypothesis using Pearson's Product moment correlation analysis shows no significant relationship between NR and PWB (r= 0.201; p>= n.s). Thus, it was concluded that there was no correlation between NR and PWB in students.

The study involved 11 production employees who exhibited low to moderate work motivation and experienced high to moderate job stress. The data collection technique employed in this study was the work motivation scale. The research design utilized a one-group pre-test post-test design, and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, a non-parametric statistical analysis. The results of the Wilcoxon test revealed a significance value of 0.003 < 0.050, indicating that the research hypothesis was supported. Therefore, a significant difference in work motivation was observed between the pre-training and post-training phases among the employees.

Student batches of 2021, 2020 and 2019 were taken as samples using proportional stratified sampling, which is the method used when the members or elements of the population are not homogeneous and are stratified proportionally. Quantitative method with comparative design is the type of research used. School Burnout Inventory (SBI) is an academic burnout scale instrument that is used to collect data with the validity of each item being greater than 0.50 and a reliable value of 0.881. With the help of SPSS software version 22.0 for Windows using the independent sample t-test method. The results of the analysis show that the academic saturation of male and female students is significantly different. The findings of this study also show that female students at Padang State University are more likely to experience post-pandemic academic burnout than male students. The findings of this study can also be used by campuses to develop learning strategies that will reduce students academic saturation levels.

The results of the analysis using simple regression with the SPSS application obtained a sig value of 0.000, meaning that the significant value is smaller <0.05. Based on the results of the SPSS, it is known that the R square is 0.409 which means that the public speaking anxiety variable contributes 16% to the self-efficacy variable. While the remaining 84% is influenced by other variables not examined.
