The condition of the spread of the Covid 19 virus which was so quickly responded to by the government quite swiftly and responsively where the government made various policies to deal with and overcome the Covid 19 pandemic. With the government policies that have been put in place related to the spread of the Covid 19 Virus, people just stay at home because all work and educational activities are carried out at home due to the emergence of the implementation of work from home and study from home. Limitations to interact with each other directly, face to face and meet physically make humans have a fairly low level of communication and mobility of activities where they are conditioned to do their respective jobs without meeting with fellow individuals, even to communicate briefly even now feels very difficult to do directly. In general psychological concepts, there is a theory that explains that individual motivation is related to the emotions they feel. Because basically individuals do something because of the feelings that they feel and provide a stimulus to act according to their mindset. In relation to the problems discussed in this article, the motivation of adolescents to seek entertainment is influenced by emotions in the form of anxiety, boredom, and loneliness that they feel so that they feel they need to transfer these emotions as a form of self-control. This article aims to analyze the relevance of the theory of motivation and emotion to adolescent behavior during the pandemic, namely seeking entertainment for the anxiety they feel. The research method uses qualitative methods with library research.

Abstract

Community mental health is a community's ability to adapt or adapt to problems in life in a good and harmonious manner. Nowadays, people with serious mental disorders in Indonesia still experience shackling and mistreatment. Therefore an optimal strategy needs to be implemented for every individual, family and community with a comprehensive, integrated and sustainable promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative approach. This study used the literature review method by examining several literature sources regarding the mental health of rural communities, mental health literacy, and extracurricular activities in schools. Based on the literature review, we found the concept of mental health literacy which is very important to be improved in the community. Mental health literacy itself is defined as the ability to recognize specific disorders, know how to seek mental health information, knowledge about risk factors and causes, knowledge about self-care and seeking available professional help, and attitudes that promote recognition and seek appropriate help. In relation to this matter, we also found the potential of extracurricular activities as a means to improve mental health literacy, more specifically among rural youth who are expected to become mental health agents for their communities. Extracurricular activities are not only believed to influence adolescent behaviors, but they are also thought to have an impact on psychological well-being. Research indicates that activity participation can have two possible effects on psychological wellbeing: either as a deterrent or as a promoter of mental health. The result of this research is a program design of "Psyclub", an extracurricular activity in schools with the aim of developing student character and increasing knowledge and skills regarding mental health through the Mental Health Ambassador program; Contribute Work "Psyclub"; "Psyclub" Daily Challenge (PDC); Peer Counseling; and Lively Psychological Literacy. Suggestions for further research are the improvement of the "Psyclub" program as well as further and in-depth research related to the needs needed by the community, especially junior and senior high school students.

Abstract

Mental health is one of the most important things in human life. However, the prevalence of mental health problems in Indonesia is still quite high. Thus, mental health services need to be optimized in order to reduce this prevalence. But, in its implementation, the use of mental health services has not been maximized because of the stigma against people with mental disorders that are obtained from themselves and the social environment. Many people still think that people with mental health problems are insane, possessed, or lack of religious knowledge. This happens because of the lack of knowledge from the community itself. Thus, education and literacy regarding mental health are still very much needed in Indonesia, because those are one of the factors that influence a person's intention to seek professional help related to mental health problems. Our research will discuss how effective increasing mental health literacy is in reducing stigma among mental health service users in Indonesia. This research will be conducted with a literature study approach with data collection techniques called documentation and using content analysis methods. This research found that mental health literacy has an effect on reducing social and self-stigma among mental health service users.

Abstract

Bullying has an impact on the educational process that does not run conducive; the conditions of the learning atmosphere and the learning process are often obstacles so that the potential development of students does not develop optimally, both physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Bullying is defined as negative behaviour shown by a person or group, done repeatedly and occurs from time to time. This study aims to find out the role of school climate perceptions and masculinity on bullying. The subjects used were 136 students of SMP X who had been bullies. The results of the multiple regression test were R = 0.792, and the F value was 112.149 (p <0.01). The effective contribution of perceived school climate and masculinity to predict bullying was 62.2% and the remaining 37.8%—other factors not examined in this study. The school climate variable has a standardized beta coefficient of -0.380 with a value of -7605 and a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01), which means that the school climate has a major influence on bullying. The other independent variable is masculinity, with a beta coefficient of 0.436 with a t-value of 7.327 and also a significant level of 0.000 (p<0.01), meaning that masculinity has an influence on bullying. According to these results, it can be concluded that the school climate perception variable and masculinity together play a role in bullying

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-confidence and anxiety in facing the world of work in the final year students who are currently taking a thesis at the Sendratasik Department, State University of Padang. The research method used in this research is the quantitative method. The study population numbered 111 people with a sample size of 83 people. The sampling technique in this study is the random sampling technique. Test the validity and reliability in this study using the Alpha Cronbach technique. The item difference index on the Confidence scale moves from rix = 0.304 to rix = 0.801 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.912. While the item difference index on the Anxiety scale moves from rix = 0.320 to rix = 0.702 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.912. The technique of collecting data in this study is a scale. Hypothesis testing uses Product Moment testing techniques. Based on the data analysis, the hypothesis was obtained using the analysis formula, which obtained a significant value on the Confidence scale of p = 0.255 with KSZ = 1.014 and anxiety of p = 0.088 with KSZ = 1.251. These results indicate that the p value> 0.05 means that the distribution is normally distributed. Based on the test with Product Moment obtained a significant value of 0.000 smaller than the probability value <0.01. Therefore, as the basis for the decision-making of the Product Moment test, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted with a negative directional correlation, thus there is a relationship between self-confidence and anxiety in final level students who are taking thesis in Sendratasik Department, Padang State University.
