Abstract

Consumer buying interest is something related to a consumer's plan to buy a particular product. Many factors affect consumer buying interest in a product such as: price, completeness of the product and location. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. The population in this study is UD consumers. Sumber Makmur. and the sample used in this study was 100 consumers. From the results of the t-test, it was obtained that there was a partially significant influence between the price variable (X1), product completeness (X2) and location (X3) on consumer buying interest in UD. Sumber Makmur.. Independent variables of price (X1), product completeness (X2) location (X3) have a simultaneous influence on consumer buying interest. This can be proven by the value of Fcal ˃ Ftable with a significant level of less than 0.05, which is 0.000. From the multiple linear regression equation, the result of the price variable (X1) = 0.341 is greater than the other variable. So it can be concluded that price (X1) is the most dominant variable that affects consumer buying interest (Y) in UD. Sumber Makmur.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of services provided by PT. Mutiara Amanah to its customers (Umrah pilgrims) based on the dimension of service quality, and to formulate an ISO 9001:2015 implementation strategy to improve service quality. The qualitative descriptive method was used with data collected through in-depth interviews using pattern matching analysis, observations, document studies, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach. This research was conducted from August to October 2022 at PT. Mutiara Amanah, Bojonegoro. The results showed that the company's service quality met the five dimensions of SERVQUAL: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible appearance, achieving a satisfaction score of 81% from 50 respondents. The FGD identified 140 complaints from pilgrims and 140 service desires, which were then reduced to five main categories. Using Pareto analysis, 80% of complaints come from 20% of service areas, with external services (airlines, hotels, visa providers) and personal services as the main concerns. The company's ISO 9001:2015 implementation strategy includes the PDCA cycle: planning, complaint identification, implementation of service improvements, checking through the Tour Guide handbook, and action by updating SOPs. These findings show that the PDCA-based ISO 9001:2015 framework is effective in systematically improving the quality of Umrah travel services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style, work motivation, and organizational culture on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction at CV. Build a Sub-Contractor Lamongan Design. The research employed a quantitative approach using cross-sectional design. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 49 employees using a census method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS software. The results show that leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee performance (T=2.625, p=0.009), work motivation significantly affects both job satisfaction (T=2.924, p=0.004) and employee performance (T=2.182, p=0.030), and organizational culture significantly impacts employee performance (T=2.614, p=0.009). Job satisfaction also significantly influences employee performance (T=2.266, p=0.024). However, leadership style and organizational culture do not significantly affect job satisfaction, nor do they indirectly influence performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Only work motivation showed significant mediation through job satisfaction (T=2.071, p=0.039). The R-square value of 74.1% indicates that the model strongly explains variance in employee performance. These findings suggest that improving work motivation and instilling a strong organizational culture are key strategies for enhancing employee performance in construction companies.

Abstract

The swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) is a leading Indonesian fishery commodity, largely exported to the United States. The Indonesian Swimming Crab Management Association (APRI) actively utilizes social media as a promotional tool for its sustainable fisheries program. This study aims to analyze the influence of APRI's social media on the interaction and effectiveness of Consumer Brand Engagement (CBE) in sustainable swimming crab fisheries programs in Indonesia. Data was collected over 14 days from 31 respondents who used social media platforms on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube using the Accidental Sampling method. Analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 3.2.9 to test the influence of four Brand Awareness factors (recall, recognition, alternatives, and keep recalling) on the interaction and effectiveness of CBE in four APRI programs (Swimming Crab Apartment, 5-Minute GTK, Swimming Crab Cultivation, and APRI Youth Innovation). The results indicate that the Swimming Crab Apartment and 5-Minute GTK programs are most familiar to respondents. Knowing and following APRI's social media significantly influences the interaction and effectiveness of CBE. Social media has proven effective as a digital marketing strategy for nonprofit organizations in promoting sustainable fisheries management programs and increasing public awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of land use conversion, farmers' terms of trade (NTP), generation crisis, and the availability of subsidized fertilizers on food security, mediated by sustainable economy and agricultural labor productivity, among farmers in Lamongan Regency. A quantitative approach was employed using SEM-PLS (SmartPLS 3.3.7) with a sample of 200 farmer respondents drawn from 20 villages in Sukodadi District, Lamongan. The outer model results confirm the validity and reliability of all constructs (outer loading >0.70, AVE >0.50, Composite Reliability >0.70). The inner model shows strong explanatory power for food security (R²=0.810). Key findings reveal that land use conversion has a significant negative effect on food security (β=−0.146, p=0.014) and on agricultural labor productivity (β=−0.256, p<0.001), while it positively affects the sustainable economy (β=0.354, p<0.001). The availability of subsidized fertilizers demonstrates the strongest positive effect on food security (β=0.911, p<0.001). Generation crisis positively influences food security (β=0.120, p=0.004) and agricultural labor productivity (β=0.292, p<0.001). Farmers' terms of trade do not significantly affect food security directly but positively impact agricultural labor productivity (β=0.811, p<0.001), through which indirect effects on food security are realized. Agricultural labor productivity significantly mediates the effects of land use conversion, farmers' terms of trade, and generation crisis on food security. The sustainable economy does not significantly mediate any of these relationships. These findings highlight the critical role of subsidized fertilizer policy and labor productivity enhancement in securing food resilience at the local level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid growth of the digital economy in Indonesia, which is paradoxically accompanied by the rise of user interface manipulation tactics, or dark pricing patterns, in various marketplace applications. The main objective of this study is to identify unethical price manipulation patterns, such as hidden costs, sneak-into-basket, and false urgency in promotional content, and to analyze in depth their impact on consumer decision-making processes. The basic approach of this research uses exploratory descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection was conducted comprehensively through interface observations (interface audits) and in-depth literature reviews related to consumer behavior, which were then analyzed thematically based on the concepts of choice architecture and dual process theory. The analysis results show significant findings that dark pricing patterns have operated systematically to exploit impulsive cognitive processing to expedite transactions unreasonably. Crucial findings reveal that this practice triggers negative sentiment and is detrimental to consumers when non-transparent service fees appear at the final stage of payment. This study concludes that while this design manipulation tactic has proven highly effective in increasing short-term purchase conversion rates, it has a destructive impact by eroding consumer autonomy, triggering post-decision regret, and undermining the essential foundation of public trust. Consequently, specific legal regulatory reforms regarding comprehensive price transparency are needed, as well as the implementation of behavioral interventions in the form of postponement features within systems to protect digital consumers in Indonesia.
