Setiap naskah yang dikirimkan wajib mengikuti panduan penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan oleh redaksi jurnal. Abstract

Covid-19 is a pandemic that first emerged in Wuhan, China at the end of 2019. The emergence of this pandemic of course raises anxiety and raises many questions. One of them is about the presence of God in the midst of this pandemic situation. This paper seeks to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic within the framework of Providentia Dei, namely the Christian doctrine of God's providence. The fundamental issue that becomes the focus of writing is how to understand God the Creator and Sustainer in the midst of the current pandemic? In order to answer this question, I am exploring the causes and views of the church on the four pandemics in world history. The results of this historical search are then understood from five perceptions of the pandemic, namely fate, punishment for sins, tests of faith, and signs of the End Times. Next is trying to understand the Covid-19 pandemic within the framework of Providentia Dei, which, in my opinion, must be understood in the light of the Cross as a manifestation of God's providence as "a vulnerable God," "suffering God," and "God who restores."

Abstract

in this study the author discusses the teaching of Jesus Christ on the Mount of Galilee in the New Testament Bible, known as the Sermon on the Mount, especially in Matthew 7:7-11 regarding, the answering of Prayers, which is how as persons Christian (People who believe in Jesus Christ) who always relies on God in every aspect of the journey of life by asking for His guidance, in life through prayer delivered and prayers delivered, will be granted. this ressearch uses Historical Criticism approach was used to explore the text as well as observations and interviews to find out the reality on the ground and obtain the maximum interpretation and the right theology. So that with the answered prayer, it can make the GMIM Canaan Winenet Congregation of Bitung XII Region, always continue to pray diligently, seek God in any situation and condition and continue to strive for what is prayed for or conveyed to God while maintaining a life that is pleasing to God, even though not all prayers delivered will be answered but with faith believing that God will give, what is best for His people and He will never to leave His people under any circumstances.

Abstract

The church is in the world with three tasks that is ally, serve and testify for glory God’s name andbe a blessing,in and outside church body itself.Church attendance not just service on the pulpit church or in the service ceremonial ones but have to touch all problems,struggle,church struggle from problems faced in the field economy, socialand cultural.In a struggle fight the conngregation served, with some church members those who work is a fiherman which is confronted with problems it’s poverty,income level, education the low one attached to fisherman and his family, then here church must play a role church empowerment special for labor fisherman and light boat fisherman. Based on background this then in the main formula the problem as follows : (1) how’s the profile fisherman, (2) why fisherman is at helples condition or classified as poor?,(3) how to empower fiherman?As for the purpose study is describe fisherman profile, identify factorrs the causes church fiherman classified as poor, find way out fisherman empowerment congregation.The methodology that will be usengin this research is the qualitative reserch method.The resu of this research show that there is a relationship cooperation between church and goverment in empowering fisherman, but effort who have been obssesed depends on the fishermen themselves,when they initiative want to try and work empower himself associted with language work fisherman who are in the field.

Abstract

Setting a good example turns out to play a very important role in life. This role can have an influence on something central, namely faith. Therefore, in setting a good example, it must be done sincerely. So in realizing it all, an example is needed. Through a good example, it can have a good influence, but if on the contrary it will bring something bad. presbiter especially elders and deacons play an important role in setting an example for their congregations. So for that reason the presbiter must realize that the example will always play an important role in building the faith of the congregation to be better.The aim of the study is to highlight and describe the presbiter exemplary criteria. To highlight and describe the example of presbiter in building the faith of the congregation in the GMIM Torsina Tumumpa congregation. To highlight and describe the example of PELSUS and the faith growth of the congregation at GMIM Torsina Tumumpa.The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used is interviews, field observations and literature studies.From the results of the research found in the research field, it concerns the presbiter Example in building the faith of the congregation that PELSUS there, especially the elders and deacons, have understood what a good example is. Although there are also those who do not realize the importance of example, they try to realize it to build the faith of the congregation. The PELSUS are also still full of limitations so that there are still mistakes in their attitude to set an example but these shortcomings do not become a stumbling block to continue to improve themselves. So that from the presbiter to the church members have hope in the faith growth of the congregation in the future so that the presbiter are more serious in setting an example to build the faith of the congregation and the congregation can give themselves more in service to God.

Abstract

The Understanding of biblical doctrine is very important thing for Christianity. Proper understanding affects to the practice of life and faith of church people. The Total depravity doctrine by calvinisme is based on biblical hermeneutic. This doctrine explains about the condititon of all humans who are full of sin and need Jesus Christ as The Only savior.There are several objectives of this research, namely, to analyze the understanding of church people about total depravity doctrine, to analyze the understanding of church people about atonement of sins by Jesus Christs, to analyze the diffrence of opinion of church people and Calvinism. The Research method used is qualitative methode. Data colletion techniques used are observation, interview, litarature study and discussion the research result.From the results of the research found in GMIM Bukit Moria Tondei satu as field of research, there are several variations of understanding include a wrong understanding. Church people have a diffrent understanding with the bible or theory of experts

Abstract

The church, guided by the power of the Holy Spirit, is a tool for God's mission and the church is given a mandate to carry out every task, namely witnessing, fellowship and service. The services provided by the church must be effective because church attendance is very important if the church is to carry out God's mission as the basis for His testimony in the world, including discipleship. Discipleship is the core ministry of the church and through discipleship will bring a person to know God more and more as Lord and Savior of life. Discipleship is carried out in all circles, including teenagers. Teenagers really need discipleship services because many problems arise including smoking, consuming alcohol, early marriage and so on. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews. Through the result of the research obtauned, the researcher hopes that parents and the church must play a role in the process of growth and development of adolescent spir ituality and provide creative and effective discipleship services so that teenagers do not easily fall into deviant behavior.

Abstract

When God created man in the world, God wanted man to live in obedience and loyalty to Him. The church exists to bear witness to the truth of God revealed through the sacrifice and work of Christ as the Savior of mankind. The church presents people who are allowed to become special ministers, namely deacons, elders, religious teachers, and pastors to carry out ministry work, namely preaching the gospel about Christ. The most important thing as a special servant is to have a faith commitment and keep it, than they can carry out services effectively and responsibly as well their services be conclude successful. The purpose of this study is to describe the understanding of elders and deacons who do not carry out their duties and responsibilities as a faith commitment because there are several factors that affect the effectiveness of their ministry.

Abstract

The challenge of the church in carrying out God's mission is something that happens in reality, the church as a tool used by God to carry out His mission for His people, but in the midst of the church's efforts to carry out God's mission there are various challenges that o ften occur in carrying out God's mission. church, God's mission is not only limited to evangelism but all forms of church ministry are part of carrying out God's mission. In the midst of church life, the church in which there is an assembly, the congregation and even the entire ministry are called to be tools to carry out God's mission, they must understand correctly how the challenges occur and have a deeper knowledge of God's mission and mission. This journal has a goal in which people who believe in Him truly understand how God's mission is for mankind and what are the challenges of the church in carrying out the church's mission to realize God's mission for believers.

Abstract

A woman's work within the Church and Society is strongly felt by her real self-giving and dedication through community, family, local environment, work, Church ministry and social community.this is illustrated by the real role of Dorkas/Tabhita through Acts 9:36-42, because of her actions that have an impact on her surrounding life, especially her loving service that touches many people. This is because of the love of Jesus that touched her first, therefore a woman will be able to be a blessing and work wonderfully in the midst of limitations as a woman in the midst of the patriakhal system because of the love of Christ who lives in it. Likewise, the ministry of GMIM many women is truly a blessing to many, serving God earnestly because of the Love of Christ.

Abstract

This article begenned with the terminology of definition Christian Religious Education, function and the curriculum who used in the school. There are some problems about the teacher and their roles at the school. The aim of this article for sharing information about how we must facing the reality and to knowing the needed of teacher with students. Researcher using literature books and qualitative method approach. As part of an analyst the Christian Education in relation between teacher, student and also education in family. This article also talking about comparison between Christian Education in Government School and Christian School. Hopefully this article who talking about Christian Religious Education has impact into relation among teacher, students with family.
