Abstract

This study analyzes the legal implications of polygamy, which are considered criminal acts, for those who practice polygamy without the permission of the legal wife or a court ruling, based on Law No. 1 of 2023 (the New Criminal Code), andacritical reviewbasedontheMaqashidSyariah analysis.In2026, the implementation of the New Criminal Code affirms the legal position of polygamous marriages carried out in violation of existing procedures and without the permission of the legal wife, as determined by a Religious Court Decree. The research method used is a juridical-normative legal research method with a statutory and conceptual analysis approach. The results of the study indicate that Articles 402 and 403 of the New Criminal Code prohibit polygamy without the permission of the legal wife and Marriage without a courtrulingiscategorizedasacriminaloffensewithamaximumpenaltyofsix years' imprisonment or a Category IV fine. From a sociological and juridical perspective, this legal provision constitutes a complaint offense aimed at protecting the rights of the first wife. From the perspective of Maqashid Syariah (Islamic Law), the application of this criminal sanction is seen as aligned with the principle of public welfare (mashlahah), particularly in safeguardingoffspring(hifzhunnasl)toensurethelegalstatusofchildren,and safeguarding property (hifzhul maal) related to inheritance rights and maintenance. Criminal sanctions serve as a legal instrument to prevent harm neglect and ensure that the principle of justice, an absolute requirement for polygamy in Islam, is fulfilled both administratively and substantively in a marriage.

Abstract

This study aims to regularly examine the relationship between psychological safety and employee voice in an organizational context. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines. Literature was retrieved from the Scopus database using keywords related to psychological safety and employee voice. Based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 13 peer-reviewed quantitative empirical articles published between 2019 and 2025 were selected. The selected studies were analyzed using narrative and thematic synthesis to identify patterns, roles, and relationships between variables. The findings indicate that psychological safety consistently has a positive influence on employee voice across various organizational environments and cultures. Psychological safety primarily serves as a mediator linking leadership style, organizational systems, and social relationships with employee voice. Several studies also identified psychological safety as a moderator that strengthens or weakens the effectiveness of organizational practices in encouraging employee voice. Employees are more likely to voice ideas, suggestions, and concerns when they perceive a psychologically safe work environment. This study is limited to a single database (Scopus) and focuses only on quantitative empirical studies, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. This study contributes to the literature on organizational behavior and human resource management by synthesizing empirical evidence on the role of psychological safety in promoting employee voice and offering practical implications for organizational leadership. Its novelty lies in regularly mapping psychological safety as a mediator and moderator in the employee voice literature.

Abstract

Final-year psychology students face high academic demands during the completion phase of their studies, making them vulnerable to academic burnout. One factor that is presumed to play a role in alleviating academic exhaustion is perceived social support, which is an individual's perception of social support received from their surrounding environment. This study aims to examine the relationship between perceived social support and academic burnout in final-year psychology students. The study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional correlational design. The participants consisted of 174 final-year psychology students from Universitas Negeri Surabaya, selected using purposive sampling. The research instruments used in this study were the Maslach Burnout Inventory- Student Survey (MBI-SS) and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) Indonesian-adapted version. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman's correlation because the data were not normally distributed. The results of the study showed a weak and non-significant negative correlation between perceived social support and academic burnout (ρ = -0.144; p = 0.058). Additional analysis indicated differences in the level of academic burnout based on residence, where students living in boarding houses had higher burnout levels compared to students living with their families. These findings underscore the importance of considering contextual factors in understanding academic burnout among final- year psychology students.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, termasuk Big Data dan Artificial Intelligence (AI), telah mengubah praktik akuntansi manajemen dari sekadar pencatatan menjadi sistem informasi strategis. Akuntansi manajemen strategik (AMS) kini berperan dalam mendukung perencanaan, pengendalian, dan pengambilan keputusan bisnis yang adaptif dan berbasis bukti, dengan memperhatikan informasi internal, eksternal, pesaing, serta indikator kinerja keuangan dan non-keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran akuntansi manajemen strategik dalam pengambilan keputusan bisnis melalui pemanfaatan Big Data dan AI, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan implementasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan dan analisis data dari buku akademik, artikel jurnal, prosiding, dan laporan penelitian terkait, disintesis secara naratif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Big Data meningkatkan akurasi informasi biaya, kinerja, dan analisis pelanggan serta pesaing, sementara AI mendukung analisis prediktif, simulasi skenario, dan deteksi risiko, sehingga keputusan dapat diambil secara lebih proaktif. Integrasi keduanya menggeser peran akuntan manajemen menjadi analis strategis dan mitra bisnis. Keberhasilan implementasi bergantung pada kualitas data, kapabilitas sumber daya manusia, infrastruktur teknologi, dan tata kelola data yang baik.

Abstract

  This study aims to analyze the effect of risk management and corporate governance on banking performance. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from banks’ annual reports during the observation period. Data analysis is conducted using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the WarpPLS application to examine latent and nonlinear relationships among variables. The results indicate that risk management has a positive and significant effect on banking performance, suggesting that effective risk management practices are able to enhance bank stability and operational efficiency. Corporate governance is also proven to have a positive effect on banking performance through improvements in transparency, accountability, and the effectiveness of supervision. The novelty of this study lies in the use of WarpPLS to analyze nonlinear relationships between risk management, corporate governance, and banking performance, which remains limited in banking research in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Intellectual Capital and Corporate Governance on financial performance in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2020–2024. The method used is a quantitative approach to identify the relationship between independent and dependent variables using SPSS for Windows 27. The data used are secondary data in the form of financial reports from banking sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2020–2024, and the sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The simultaneous test results show that both Intellectual Capital and Corporate Governance variables, when tested individually, have no significant effect on the financial performance of the companies. However, Intellectual Capital and Corporate Governance, when tested simultaneously, have a significant impact on the companies' financial performance. The study also reveals that the independent variables, namely Intellectual Capital and Corporate Governance, contribute to 34.1% of the variation in the dependent variable, which is the companies' performance. The remaining 65.9% is influenced by other variables outside the regression equation or variables not included in this study model.

Abstract

  This study aims to examine the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Prosocial Behaviour among students of SMP Panca Budi Medan. A quantitative method was utilized, involving a sample of 191 students selected using Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data was collected using two main instruments: a 30-item Prosocial Behaviour scale and a 29-item Emotional Intelligence scale. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test with the aid of SPSS Statistics 24 for Windows. The results revealed a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.326 with a significant value (p-value) of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that there is a positive and significant relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Prosocial Behaviour. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.106, implying that Emotional Intelligence contributes 10.6% to Prosocial Behaviour, whereas the remaining 89.4% was influenced by variables not addressed in this study's parameters. These results underscore the significant contribution of Emotional Intelligence in promoting Prosocial Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to understand consumer perceptions of Cheesecake Expert Yogyakarta by utilizing Digital Voice of Customer (Digital VoC) through Google reviews. A descriptive qualitative approach was used with thematic analysis according to Braun and Clarke. A total of 100 reviews were selected based on their relevance to aspects of product quality, price, service, packaging, and consumer trust. The analysis process was assisted by ATLAS.ti 25 through the stages of familiarization, initial coding, theme search, theme review, and theme definition. The results showed five main themes that shape consumer perceptions, namely: product quality, price and value, service and consumer experience, packaging and product practicality, and trust and loyalty. Product quality, especially taste, texture, and appearance emerged as the most dominant factors in shaping satisfaction and influencing repeat orders. Other factors such as affordable prices, friendly service, ease of payment, and halal aspects also strengthened positive consumer experiences. These findings confirm that repeat purchase decisions are influenced by holistic consumer experiences, so that Digital VoC can be a strategic data source for culinary MSMEs in improving service and product quality.

Abstract

Advancements in digital technology have driven a shift in music production from physical studios toward Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)–based production supported by virtual acoustic rooms capable of digitally simulating spatial characteristics. This phenomenon enables the engineering of spatial perception, depth, and sound quality without reliance on real acoustic spaces, while also supporting production efficiency, the formation of sonic identity, and the integration of traditional and modern electronic music. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method to examine the application of virtual acousticrooms in the digital music mixing process, with the research subjects consisting of works by Enggar Ardiandi and a comparative mixing result of the song Melangkah by audio practitioner Ridho. Data were collected through literature review, work analysis, observation of the mixing process, and evaluations by listeners and practitioners, then analyzed descriptively and analytically by linking field findings with relevant theories, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The results indicate that the application of virtual acoustic rooms in the works of Enggar Ardiandi and Ridho positions virtual reverb as a primary element in shaping spatial perception, depth, and sonic cohesion in digital music mixing, with a comprehensive and immersive approach in Enggar’s work and a selective and controlled approach in Ridho’s work, underscoring the flexibility of this technology in accommodating aesthetic needs, workflow efficiency, and overall audio quality enhancement.

Abstract

Early childhood is a golden age, where nutrition supports growth and development, including fine motor skills. This development can also be influenced by the mother's education, occupation, household income, and parenting style. This study aims to identify factors associated with the development of fine motor skills in toddlers experiencing stunting. This is a correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 59 mothers with stunted toddlers using total sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Parental Feeding Style Questionnaire and KPSP. Statistical analysis was performed using Chi-Square Analysis. The results of the Chi-Square test showed that there was a relationship between the mother's education (p=0.000), occupation (p=0.000), household income income (p=0.000), and parenting style (p=0.000) with the fine motor development of toddlers. The conclusion shows that there is a relationship between maternal education, maternal employment, household income, and parenting style with the fine motor development of toddlers.
