Anomie is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and free of charge journal published by Criminology Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Global Studies, Universitas Budi Luhur. The articles in this journal are based on joint-research by criminology student and their supervisor. This Journal is published three times a year (April, August, and December). Anomie publishes articles on criminology issues with a particular focus on crime and society from a variety of perspectives. Deviance Jurnal Kriminologi is concerned with theories, concepts, narratives and myths of crime, criminal behaviour, social deviance, criminal law, morality, justice, social regulation and governance.

Abstract

This study looks at the patterns and types of sexual assault against minors on the social media platform Tiktok. This research method employs qualitative and descriptive approaches based on Rational Choice Theory. The researchers used five sources, including three perpetrators of child and sexual abuse and two police officers. The study's findings indicated why each of the criminals engaged in sexual harassment and child abuse on the social media site TikTok. The three perpetrators utilize TikTok because it is simple to use, and the victim is active on TikTok, which makes it easier to approach. The culprit can view many videos and victim profiles on the TikTok app. Because environmental factors and relationships that exist in the friendship of one of them that help to find the victim and perpetrator also like to see the porn video, and the mode of perpetration with the way to approach the victims first, then like the posts and frequently comment. The criminal approached the victim via TikTok messenger after sending a message to the victim. The culprit stole the victim's heart, after which the offenders frequently made sexual calls and remarks. The offender picking the child as a victim is because the perpetrator is very glad to relate to an age group of children since it is easy to offer confidence to want to do and obey the criminal's desire and may also be used in terms of the victim's age and finances.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the analysis of Rational Choice Theory in Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) inPasar KembangYogyakarta and analyzed with Rational Choice Theory. The phenomenon of commercialsex workers that occurred in Pasar Kembang Gedong Tengen, Yogyakarta, was motivated by theurgency of the necessities of life, economy, and lifestyle. This is because working as a prostitute doesnot require complicated requirements, thus making them undertake the profession. This profession isconsidered an instant job and can generate a large income without having to tire of working all day.Rational Choice Theory sees perpetrators consider each characteristic of a potential crime(opportunities, costs and benefits). There are many reasons why the woman chose to prostitute herself.The result of these pressures is the defeat of internal factors such as thoughts, reasoning, and conscience.Situations and conditions that always violate norms and deviate and occur repeatedly and continuouslywill strengthen these deviations (prostitution). Referring to this perspective, a person can determine his actions to commit a crime, before the individual has concluded that the benefits will be far greater than the risks and losses faced.

Abstract

The fesyen industry is one of the industries that determines the standard of beauty and ideal bodyimage for society. In the modeling profession, the demand to have a thin body is one of the mainconditions for success. However, this demand often results in the implementation of fad diets whichare detrimental to the health and well-being of women. This phenomenon often occurs covertly andis not widely accepted by society. Therefore, a new approach is needed to understand and overcomethe victimization of women in the fesyen industry. The concept of Corporate Victimization of Womenprovides a framework for reviewing the phenomenon of victimization of women in this industry. Thisstudy aims to show how the demands of the fesyen industry to have a thin body affect the adoptionof fad diets and cause hidden victimization of female models.

Abstract

The online loan trap (pinjol) that is now rife with victims is driven by the lifestyle of some people beyond their capabilities. It may be that the people who are trapped in financiers at first are not motivated by urgent needs or economic factors, but because of their own consumptive lifestyle. People who emphasize alifestyle beyond the limits of their financial means cause their economy to be bigger than the stake. It is at this point that they can be tempted when there is an offer of illegal loans in the form of easy loans with only an ID card without meeting the creditors of the loan, low literacy related to financial technology and digital technology companies is also considered to be the dominant factor in the fall of people in the illegal loan trap. With its considerable potential, due to the emergence of many online loan services, both registered (legal) and unregistered (illegal). However, the emergence of illegal online loan services has a negativeimpact, especially financial losses for the community as consumers of these services. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to find out the reasons why someone prefers to use an illegal online loan when they need money quickly, find out how the process of someone getting caught in an illegal loan and what efforts are needed to overcome illegal online loan services. With reference to the negative impact caused by illegal online loan services, efforts that can be made include cooperation between the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Kominfo and the Police under supervision; increasing community digital literacy; the need for regulations related to consumer protection; and evaluation of mechanisms; company registration. The role of the Government is urgently needed insupporting OJK and YLKI to immediately address illegal online loan services in a special regulation.

Abstract

The study investigated the presence of criminal problems caused by a variety of elements such asgroup solidarity, the social environment, family, and the economy. The study attempts to explainwhat variables encourage students to bid and what motivates a student to act as a result of socialmedia. The researchers interviewed four sources for this study: two kids from separate gangs, oneWartul gang alumni, and the Head of the Criminal Resort Unit, Polsek Kebayoran Lama. Theresearchers expected to get a picture of what happened to students who performed the offer actiondue to the presence of paroses imitating and learning from social media from its predecessor inthe Southern Jakarta Boengkem gang by using a qualitative research approach with a descriptivetype. Factors that contribute to the occurrence of a conflict between school gangs or bands are classified as 2 (two), one of which is an internal element relating to adolescents' emotional well- being. External elements such as the home environment, the school environment, and the surrounding environment are also considered. Teen aggression, offer, differential association theory are all keywords.
