Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed at determining the relationship between sleep quality and the occurrence of increased blood pressure in preoperative patients. Methods: The research method is the quantitative method with a correlational study approach. The sampling technique used was purposing sampling with a total of 68 respondents according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection method was the observational analytic method and the data analysis used the Eta correlation test. Results: The results of the Eta correlation test to find out the relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure showed a p-value of 0.003<0.05 meaning that there was a significant relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure. The majority of the respondents had bad sleep quality as many as 36 respondents (52.9%) and most of them who had an increase in blood pressure of 20-50% were 36 respondents (52.9%). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure in preoperative patients. The results of the Eta test showed a p-value of 0.003 indicating a significant relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure.

Abstract

The aim of this research was for the author to be able to implement comprehensive midwifery care according to midwifery service standards for pregnant women, maternity, BBL, neonates, postpartum and family planning with SOAP documentation. The method for taking this case was a descriptive approach and midwifery management using Continuity of Care for Mrs. S aged 36 years at the Watumalang Community Health Centerand KRT Hospital. Setjonegoro Wonosobo start March 14, 2024 - April 27, 2024.During the implementation, 3 pregnancy assessments were carried out and the problem of pregnant women with obesity was found, during delivery the mother experienced problems with rupture of cloudy membranes accompanied by PU (+), in BBL and neonates problems were found asphyxiated birth babies then hypoglycemia and ineffective breastfeeding occurred, in 4 No problems were found during postpartum visits, and the mother chose to use implant birth control. Midwifery care for pregnant women with a high risk of pregnancy ≥35 years accompanied by obesity carried out on Mrs. S, 36 years old, has received treatment and management according to midwifery care standards.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between nurses' knowledge of patient safety and compliance with fall risk assessment implementation. Methods: This study uses a correlational observational method with a cross-sectional design on 41 nurses in the Cempaka and Bougenvile wards through total sampling technique. Data were collected once using a questionnaire, and the relationship between variables was analyzed using the Rank-Spearman test. Results: The analysis using the Rank Spearman test with the help of SPSS version 30.0 program showed a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.440 and a p-value of 0.002. This indicates a relationship between knowledge of patient safety and compliance in conducting fall risk assessments in the Cempaka and Bougenvile Inpatient Rooms at RSUD KRT. Setjonegoro Wonosobo. The value of the correlation coefficient indicates a moderate or fairly strong relationship with a positive direction. Conclusion: There was a relationship between knowledge of patient safety and compliance with fall risk assessment implementation at RSUD KRT. Setjonegoro Wonosobo in the Cempaka and Bougenvile Inpatient Wards.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are the most important indicators to assess the welfare of a country. One of the efforts made by the government is through comprehensive midwifery care using the SOAP method and described in descriptive and narrative form and reviewed continuously (Continuity of Care). The subject taken in this report is Mrs. A, 39 years old at the Mojotengah Health Center, the assessment was carried out from March 13 to May 7, 2025. The results of the study on pregnancy which was examined twice, found that Mrs. A had a high risk, namely pregnancy age ≥35 years and hypertension. During Maternity Care, Mrs. A experienced complications, namely precipitous labor, the baby was born healthy, the neonate was found to have jaundice, postpartum progress, physiological problems, and the mother chose the Implant KB. The conclusion in this assessment was that there was no gap between theory and practice.

Abstract

Comprehensive Midwifery Care is a midwifery service that is provided comprehensively, continuously and consistently to a mother, starting from pregnancy to Family Planning services. The purpose of this study is to provide comprehensive midwifery care (Continuity of Care) using the SOAP method as an effort to reduce maternal mortality and infant mortality rates. The subject of this study was Mrs. L, 36 years old. The assessment was conducted from March 4 to April 13, 2025. During the pregnancy phase, it was found that Mrs. L was at high risk due to advanced maternal age (over 35 years) and obesity. Mother gives birth normally, baby is born healthy. During neonatal care, the baby was found to have complaint of poor breastfeeding. In the postpartum care, the mother have a complication of breast engorgement. Family planning care with no complications observed, mother usescontraceptive implant. A gap between theory and practice was found regarding the implementation of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding. Based on the assesment, it’s recommended to improve midwifery sevices continue, particulary in early detection and prevention of complications.

Abstract

Comprehensive midwifery care is a continuous service for pregnant women, childbirth,newborns, neonates, postpartum and family planning. The aim is to describe comprehensivemidwifery care for Mrs. S, 24 years old with mild anemia in the third trimester of pregnancyat the Kepil 2 Community Health Center, Wonosobo Regency from February 27, 2025 – April25, 2025. The research method uses a case study approach with the One Student One Client(OSOC) model and SOAP documentation. The results of care show an improvement in themother’s condition during pregnancy, labor proceeded normally with the management ofshoulder dystocia and umbilical cord loosening, the baby was born healthy, the neonate wasfound to have problems with physiological weight loss, the postpartum period wasphysiological, and the mother chose the 3-monthly injection contraceptive method.Comprehensive and standardized midwifery services can improve the quality of maternal andinfant health and reduce the risk of complications

Abstract

The aim is to provide Comprehensive Midwifery Care carried out in a COC manner. The subject in this case is Mrs. D, 31 years old, at Watumalang Health Center, from March 11, 2025 to May 4, 2025. During pregnancy, Mrs. D had a high risk due to a history of abortion. No emergencies were found in Mrs. D`s newborn baby. During postpartum, the mother experienced edema in the feet, sore nipples, and poor breast milk flow. Meanwhile, the neonate experienced 3-year-old jaundice. The mother plans to use sterile contraception. Conclusion Midwifery care provided to Mrs. D from pregnancy to contraception with the COC method can reduce the risk of complications in the mother, so that the problem can be resolved properly. The suggestion from the assessment that has been carried out is to continue to provide Midwifery Services to improve early detection and prevention of complications.

Abstract

Adolescence is the age period that occurs after childhood ends, characterized by rapid physical growth. Anemia is a global nutritional problem, especially in developing countries, including Indonesia. The rate of iron deficiency anemia in Indonesia is 72.3%. Iron deficiency in adolescents results in paleness, weakness, fatigue, dizziness, and decreased concentration in learning. Causes include: parental education level, economic status, adolescent girls' knowledge of anemia, iron and vitamin C consumption, and menstrual duration). The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia is 26.50% among adolescent girls, 26.9% among women of childbearing age, 40.1% among pregnant women, and 47.0% among toddlers. The purpose of this study was to analyze adolescent girls' knowledge and attitudes toward anemia.This study used a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, or total sampling, which involves taking all members of the population as samples.The results of this study indicate a relationship between adolescent girls' knowledge and attitudes about anemia, with a chi-square test yielding a p-value of 0.002 <0.05.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are indicators used to measure maternal health status in a region. The purpose of the study is to provide comprehensive midwifery care carried out in a Continuity Of Care (CoC) manner. Qualitative research is presented in a descriptive exploratory manner with a study approach and examined with documentation studies. The sample in the study was Mrs. I, 26 years old, who will be studied from pregnancy, childbirth, BBL, postpartum and family planning. Case collection implementation from March - August 2025. The results of the study on Mrs. I's pregnancy ANC 11 times, normal delivery, BBL: female gender, BB: 3000 gr, PB: 47 cm, LK: 32 cm, LD: 32 cm, LILA: 11 cm. There were 2nd degree lacerations of the vaginal mucosa, perineal skin and perineal muscles. postpartum visits were 4x and the mother used MAL KB. Based on the study of Mrs. I's pregnancy care. I G1P0A0 in postpartum care, delivery care, newborn, family planning there are no gaps. Conclusion Comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. I GIP0A0 ​​aged 26 years old Mrs. I G1P0A0 pregnancy care in postpartum care, delivery care, newborn, family planning there are no gaps and Suggestions given to the health service, educational institutions, practice areas, and the community to further improve health services in accordance with Midwifery care standards.
