Abstract

Kata Kunci : Strukturisasi kekuasaan, kekerasan simbolik, Pierre Bourdieu, The Poor Relation's Story, Charles Dickens.

Abstract

This article investigates university teachers' perceptions of innovative pedagogical approaches in entrepreneurship education, particularly those integrating digital technologies with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI). It highlights AI’s potential to personalize learning paths, support adaptive feedback, and facilitate more nuanced and contextualized assessments of students' entrepreneurial competencies. Drawing on a qualitative study involving 147 university instructors through semi-structured interviews, the research explores their current teaching practices, attitudes toward AI integration, and concrete suggestions for its effective and ethical use. The results reveal a range of influencing factors, including digital literacy, institutional support, and pedagogical orientations, which shape the willingness and readiness of instructors to adopt AI-driven tools. The study also discusses barriers to adoption such as limited resources and concerns over the human dimension of teaching while emphasizing opportunities for enhancing engagement, autonomy, and innovation in entrepreneurship education through AI.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Mentimeter-based brainstorming method on students' critical thinking skills in the teaching of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn). The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of implementing the Mentimeter-based brainstorming method on students’ critical thinking abilities. The background of this study is based on the importance of developing critical thinking skills as a demand of 21st-century learning, in which students are expected to be able to analyze, evaluate, and express their opinions logically and reflectively. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group type. The sample consists of two classes divided into an experimental group and a control group. The instrument used was a set of multiple-choice questions designed to measure indicators of critical thinking. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 24. The results of the study show a significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental and control groups. Students who participated in learning using the Mentimeter-based brainstorming method showed greater improvement in critical thinking skills compared to those who learned through conventional methods. These findings confirm that the integration of interactive technology into active learning models can create a participatory, reflective, and democratic learning environment. This study recommends the use of Mentimeter as a strategic innovation to enhance students' critical thinking skills across various educational levels.

Abstract

This study evaluates the efficacy of Task-Based Learning (TBL) in enhancing students’ English speaking proficiency, particularly in delivering procedure texts, and identifies the most pronounced pronunciation improvement. Conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Cikakak, ninth-grade students were randomly assigned to an experimental class using TBL or a control class receiving conventional instruction. The speaking assessment evaluated fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, and idea organization. This study addresses the research gap by analyzing pronunciation aspects, unlike previous studies that focused solely on TBL for teaching procedure texts at the junior high school level. The experimental class showed a substantial improvement, with a mean score surge from 57.80 to 80.50, while the control class experienced only a modest improvement from 55.67 to 62.33. The N-Gain score of 51.94 for the experimental group was effective, while the control group’s gain of 14.06 was ineffective. Statistical tests confirmed a significant disparity between the groups. Students also showed a favorable response to the TBL method, supporting the assertion that TBL effectively enhances speaking skills and engages students in learning.
