SHINE: is a journal of Guidance and Counseling aims to help researchers and practitioners in improving a good reputation for reference from the various authors and cases around Indonesia In the development of science which figuring out the results of research, case studies, and library review to develop in terms of counseling and psychology guidance widely. It also beneficial to be a reference for the development of education, curriculum and the development of human resources (SDM), SHINE: a Journal of Guidance and Counseling to receive and publish articles based on both qualitative and quantitative research (scientific article). All articles published in Indonesia (abstract English) The scope of SHINE: The Journal of Guidance and Counseling focuses on the materials of research such us in terms of science, practice/skills, philosophy, and social. The psychology also being a part of this scope containing the various topics as the following: The Research of pedagogical competence. The research of personality competence The Research of Social Competence The research of professional competence. Research on the development of education. The experimental, quantitative, qualitative, classroom activities, and library research. SHINE Journal: The Journal Guidance and Counseling are only written by Indonesian authors as the following criteria: (1) The publisher of the journal comes from Indonesia (2) The article needs to be associated with the conditions in Indonesia or the country that has the same condition which is expected to have implications and contributions to address the problems of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of career information with the Gitmind technique to improve career planning of students of SMP Al Iman Kota Magelang. Experimental research methods used in this study. The stage carried out is to test the effectiveness of the Gitmind technique career information service to improve students' career planning. The research design used pre-experimental: one group pretest-posttest design with purposife sampling. The results of the effectiveness test of this study are that this model is effective for improving students' career planning. The research sample used purposive sampling technique totaling 8 students. The student's career planning level has improved after following career information with the Gitmind technique. This can be seen from the career planning of students before and after being given career information with the Gitmind technique by 22% and reinforced through effectiveness tests using t-tests that show -t count (-7.869) < -t table (-2.120).

Abstract

Discipline is an important aspect to be considered in the realm of education, especially discipline related to time management, as punctuality influences the formation of good character in the learning process at school. This article describes the level of change in students' time discipline after the implementation of group guidance using the Home Room Technique for Grade XI students at SMA N 1 Nalumsari. This research is an action research in guidance and counseling (PTBK) with the following stages: 1. Planning, 2. Action, 3. Observation, and 4. Reflection conducted in 2 research cycles, with three meetings in each cycle. The results of this research during the pre-cycle stage. Data collection techniques involved interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings of this research prove that the students' time discipline increased by 39 points, initially scoring an average of 37 in the pre-cycle stage categorized as very poor (VP), now reaching 76 categorized as good (G). This study indicates that teachers should utilize the Home Room Technique group guidance in improving student discipline, especially punctuality in arriving at school.

Abstract

Study saturation is a condition in which students of SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara feel physically and psychologically tired, which is marked by a lack of concentration or listening to what the teacher says; not willing to teach assignments (PR), quickly forget the lesson; learning outcomes achieved will not be maximal; slow in managing the information (lessons) delivered by the teacher; low enthusiasm for learning, either at school or at home. The objectives to be achieved in this study are as follows: (1) Describe the application of self-management technique group guidance in overcoming learning saturation in SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara students. (2) Describing the alleviation of learning boredom in SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara students by implementing self-management technique group guidance.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi penerapan konseling psikoanalisis dalam memahami potensi diri siswa di lingkungan pendidikan. Potensi diri, digambarkan sebagai kemampuan dan kekuatan yang ada di dalam diri seorang individu. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan keefektifan konseling psikoanalisis dalam memahami potensi diri siswa. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi literatur menggunakan analisis terhadap literatur yang relevan sebagai sumber information utama. Temuan yang dibahas pada artikel ini adalah definisi konseling psikoanalisis, tujuan konseling psikoanalisis, teknik teknik konseling psikoanalisis, Tahap-tahap teknik konseling psikoanalisis, pengertian potensi diri, jenis-jenis potensi diri, dan penerapan konseling psikoanalisis dalam menangani potensi diri. This article explores the application of psychoanalytic counseling in understanding students' self-potential in an educational environment. Personal potential is described as the abilities and strengths that exist within an individual. The aim of this research is to prove the effectiveness of psychoanalytic counseling in understanding students' self-potential. The methodology used is a qualitative research method with a type of literature study using analysis of relevant literature as the main source of information. The findings discussed in this article are the definition of psychoanalytic counseling, the objectives of psychoanalytic counseling, psychoanalytic counseling techniques, stages of psychoanalytic counseling techniques, understanding self-potential, types of self-potential, and the application of psychoanalytic counseling in dealing with self-potential.

Abstract

Social anxiety is the fear of social situations in interacting with others that can lead to feelings of fear, inferiority, negative judgment and judgment. This study aims to determine the problem of social anxiety experienced by one of UIN Cyber Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon students before and after individual counseling with CBT approach. Counseling with CBT approach is an effort to modify the function of thinking, feeling, and acting. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Case study is one part of a qualitative research method that focuses on a case intensively and in detail. Based on the research conducted, the client initially had symptoms that led to social anxiety such as difficulty interacting with his environment, being easily pessimistic, worrying about the judgment of others, lack of confidence, and tending to close himself. After individual counseling with a CBT approach, the client begins to have the will and can act on what has been agreed upon during the counseling session. Abstract

Identify the variables that contribute to students' low self-efficacy when they do not recognize the importance of dads in their personal development. In this sense, the absence of the father figure has a impact on how kids will be succes in academic settings. Children who witness fatherlessness do not find the father's role as an authority figure in the household to be clear-cut or even lost. Method of gathering data that were employed were observation and literature review. The study's findings demonstrate how crucial parental conflict is for kids. Low self-efficacy individuals require parental support, encouragement, and attention in the classroom.
