Taushiah: Jurnal Hukum, Pendidikan dan Kemasyarakatan
Taushiah: Jurnal Hukum, Pendidikan dan Kemasyarakatan, aims to promote scientific publications on Law, Education, and Society in its broadest sense covering textual, Historical, and Empirical. The journal contains original research articles based on literature and/or empirical research in the fields of Law, Education, and Society particularly, but not limited to, six main topics, namely (1) Islamic Law and Legislation, (2) Islamic Law in Classical and Modern Social Life, (3) Islamic Education Philosophy, Curriculum, and Methodology, (4) Islamic Education Management, Policy, and Innovation, (5) Islamic Sociology and anthropology, (6) Islamic Community Empowerment. The journal encourages articles that take a multidisciplinary approach to these topics. Scholars with interest in law, education and society from Indonesia and other countries are welcome to submit their articles to Taushiah: Jurnal Hukum, Pendidikan dan Kemasyarakatan and use this open access journal as a valuable resource in this field.

<![CDATA[Education is a political sphere that stands and operates based on political decisions; no exception whether it is a government or private educational institution. Jami'atul Washliyah is one of the organizations that nuances religioous and cannot be separated from the political dimension in the context of education. This paper is based on historical studies through library research. The Islamic organization known as Jami'atul al-Washilyah where its preaching especially in North Sumatra played a very important role mainly through education. One strategy used to spread Islam (Islamic da'wah) uses the term "zending" which is generally used by invaders in spreading their religion, Christianity. So in the context of Islamic da'wah using the term "Zending Islam" was first used by al-Washliyah as its da'wah strategy in the midst of a predominantly non-Muslim population such as in Porsea.]]>

<![CDATA[Ali Abd Raziq's thesis is very shocking Islamic politics which proves that pure spiritual Muslims do not support politics, meaning religion and separate world affairs. Furthermore, Abd Raziq rejects the Caliphate system is not an inseparable part of Islam. According to him the Caliphate was only a matter of custom and not from Islamic law. Abd Raziq's view, according to Islamic thinkers, is very reprehensible because it has damaged the essence of Islam. According to them, the prophetic mission encompasses all life not only spirituality but also concerns politics and for them there is nothing between religion and the political order of life (world). Thus the prophetic mission can be implemented. To deny this, Ali Abdur Raziq implicitly asked for a review of the purpose of the downfall of the Prophet Muhammad or in other words it is necessary to study the basics of Islam.]]>

<![CDATA[Tabligh Jamaat in the city of Medan is one of the groups which is different from any other groups; conducting specific Islamic preaching or da’wah by enticing Muslims residing around a mosque for congregational prayers. This activity is one of the implementation namely khuruj teachings they refer to. Practicing khuruj is a form of which they leave their family for some days, weeks and even months, and consequently it seems lacking responsible to their family needs. Hence, this study focused on tracking real understanding of Tabligh Jamaat on family responsibility. The purpose of this study was to assess and explain the understanding Tabligh Jamaat responsibility on their family in Medan based on Islamic law perspective. The research results show that the Tabligh Jamaat percepts that providing a living cost for the family is obligatory for a husband. In this sense, a living cost is divided into two kinds; the first is Jahir living in the forms of clothing, food and shelter. The second is mental living covering religious values of monotheism, jurisprudence, morality and some other points to elevate the family dignity. ]]>

<![CDATA[Ibn Miskawaih is one of the most philosophical Muslims who reviews and refutes morals. According to Miskawaih, there are times when humans change their morals so that the rules of shari'a, deliberation, and rules of tradition are needed in accordance with courtesy. Ibnu Maskawaih also paid attention to the process of moral education in children. In his view, children's psyche is like the link of animal spirit with intelligent human soul. According to him, the end of the child's soul ends animal and human horizon begins. Therefore, children must be educated with noble character. The problem of Ibn Maskawaih's study of morals is al-Khair (kindness), as-Sa'adah (happiness) and al-Fadhilah (virtue). According to Miskawaih excellence is a state where we reach the final limit of the perfection of existence. According to him the highest happiness is freedom which brings together two aspects; Aspects related to always thinking about the nature of existence and practical aspects consisting of the virtues of the soul that produce good behavior. In my journey, the highest happiness achieved by humans always adheres to the values of the Shari'a, as a guide for their path.]]>

<![CDATA[The results of the study entitled "The Application of Arabic-Based Learning of the Quran at UMSU" can only be done at FKIP Muhammadiyah University, North Sumatra. This research aims to:1. conduct a preliminary study to find models used by Arabic language lecturers at UMSU. And discuss a new model. 2. Try out and improve the Arabic learning model offered. 3. Arranging lecturer manuals and textbooks as well as making Arabic-based Arabic textbooks program. This research uses quantitative methods. UMSU (Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra), low. In general, the results of the research in the framework (percentage) through questionnaires, observations or interviews show that the difference is because students do not have the appropriate basis before entering UMSU, because as many as 115 people from 250 academics who study Arabic at the elementary level with a frequency of 55% . While others While there is learning at the level of high school and junior high school but only in public schools.]]>

<![CDATA[Allah provides information on justice through the Qur’ran which is the meaning as and explained in Surah al-Infihtar verse 7. It could be meant fairness or balanced that indicates the perfect human beings are structured based on principles of balance. In other words, the balance or justice is an aspect in human dimension that should be embedded in his or her life. the Qur'an also provides several meanings related to justice, which come from the root word 'adl and means something that is true, an attitude that is not impartial, safeguarding one's rights and the right way to make a decision, and understanding that is directly related to the side of justice. The teachings of Islam through the Qur'an and Hadith have principles and laws in safeguarding and enforcing justice, because the truth is absolute and absolute justice is the justice that comes from God the Almighty and the just. In a state that carries out its authority fairly, it will be able to perpetuate its power, but oppositely, if its power is carried out unfairly which is the justice only applied to the weak community, its power will only wait for the time of its destruction.]]>

<![CDATA[Marriage in LGBT against nature has been against the nature of human life that strives to establish inner and biological bonds between the opposite sex, namely between men and women. A positive legal review emphasizes the Marriage Law stating that marriage is built on the basis of the marriage law that regulates marriage as an inner bond between men and women for women, households and families, and helps to uphold religion and use customs. In addition, the human rights perspective also provides guarantees for families related to marriage institutions through their harmless relationships in social life such as transmitting sexually transmitted diseases. While discussing Islamic law clearly and severely linking similar marriages are classified as haram, this is considered to be no longer in accordance with the syar 'argument, this is related to texts in the Qur'an and Hadith as the basis of Islamic law. Therefore, efforts should be made to oppose LGBT relations in order to avoid ignorance and even challenge challenges. One effort that can be done is to criticize and actualize religious interpretations (interpreting the story of Lut and the concept of marriage) which does not favor the LGBT people.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the extent of the performance of the district apparatus in providing public services based on the following indicators; tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The research location is Denai Medan District Office and uses quantitative descriptive methods that involves a research population consisting of all office employees totaling 42 (forty two) people. The results showed that respondents with the five indicators mentioned were related to the quality of service performance, and it showed the following percentages; the largest percentage is related to service reliability with an average of 88.57% and is a very satisfying category, followed by the second, which is related to responsiveness of 86.50% and is a very satisfying category. While the third place is about real service, which is 83.68% included in the very satisfying category. Furthermore, the fourth rank is related to service guarantee with a value of 80.35% and is a satisfactory category. The fifth is related to empathy services which is 70.24% in the satisfactory category.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper focuses on the description of the views of Iddah (mourning) of women who have been killed by those accounted for in the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) about the period of mourning with women (wives) who lived in the past, explained in article 170, Chapter XIX , Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), first a wife who lives dead by her husband, is obliged to carry out a period of mourning during the iddah period as a substitute for grieving and at the same time resulting in slander.
