Abstract

One of the agencies that still relies on manual information systems using Microsoft Word and Excel for its data management is the Aceh Social Services, specifically in handling the Data Management System for Assistive Devices for Persons with Disabilities. This manual process results in delays in report preparation, as it requires the opening of numerous folders and files to gather the necessary data for reports requested by the leadership. The objective of this study is to analyze and design a Web-based Information System for the Management of Assistive Devices for Persons with Disabilities at the Aceh Social Services. Two methods were used to collect data: field studies and literature reviews. Based on observations, it can be concluded that managing the data for assistive devices using an online system is more efficient, especially with the specific reporting features for assistive devices. The system was developed using web-based programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL as its database.

Abstract

The employee information system is a data processing tool developed for PT. Waskita Karya to improve the management and accessibility of employee records. This study addresses employee data management issues at the company and proposes a system design using PHP and MySQL. The objective is to optimize employee data management and streamline processes using a web-based application. Data for the study were gathered through literature review and field observations, including interviews and direct observation of relevant subjects. The system development followed the waterfall methodology, progressing through stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The employee information system is managed by administrative staff and aims to provide a faster, more efficient, and accurate data processing solution. Based on the research, it is concluded that the new system adheres to company procedures and significantly enhances the data management process by utilizing PHP and MySQL.

Abstract

Hospitals, as public service institutions, require an accurate, reliable, and adequate information system to enhance their services to patients and related environments. Given the extensive scope of services, many complex issues arise in the hospital's service processes. The numerous variables involved in hospital operations influence the speed of information flow required by both users and the hospital environment. Manual data management in hospitals presents significant drawbacks, including slow processing time and a high risk of errors. With the support of current information technology, manual data management can be replaced by a computerized information system. In addition to being faster and easier, data management becomes more accurate. Accurate data processing results in accurate information, which is crucial for decision-making, both for management and others. The purpose of this study is to facilitate patient registration for outpatient and inpatient visits, ease report generation, and assist the hospital management in improving service quality and decision-making processes. Based on the research conducted at Zainoel Abidin General Hospital in Aceh, the implementation of the outpatient and inpatient patient administration information system has proven to be precise and accurate, particularly in the pharmacy department. The system has also made it easier to obtain patient information and has addressed frequent issues such as challenges in monitoring and supervising patients and medical records. The system development lifecycle (SDLC) was utilized in designing this system.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology at PT. Atri Distribusindo Banda Aceh is still limited, particularly in logistics management, which is conducted manually. This situation complicates administrative processes, leading to delays and a high risk of errors in inventory management. To address these issues, this study develops a computerized logistics information system using the prototyping method, PHP, and MySQL. The prototyping approach allows for iterative feedback during system development, ensuring the system meets operational needs more effectively. The system is designed to enhance data accuracy and improve workflow efficiency in logistics operations. Based on observations and analysis, the logistics information system is expected to provide accurate and timely information, ultimately supporting better decision-making within PT. Atri Distribusindo Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study develops a web-based student registration application to overcome problems in the new student admission process at MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar. The manual system that was previously implemented caused various obstacles such as data recording errors, difficulty in finding information, and the length of the data processing process. Using the waterfall method, this study conducted a needs analysis through interviews, observations, and documentation studies, followed by system design using ERD and the MVC approach. Implementation was carried out using the programming languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL as the database. System testing was carried out in stages through unit testing, integration, system testing, and user acceptance. The results of the study showed that the application successfully provided an efficient, accurate, and easily accessible online registration platform, with integrated data validation features, prospective student data management, selection process, result announcements, and report generation. This application has proven effective in improving the quality of new student registration services at MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar

Abstract

-The School of Informatics and Computer Management (STMIK) Abulyatama faces challenges in classifying student thesis topics. The current manual classification process is inefficient and ineffective. Therefore, the implementation of data mining techniques is needed to manage this data, specifically to automate the classification process. This study aims to optimize the Support Vector Machine (SVM) model by integrating Naive Bayes and Decision Tree algorithms to improve the accuracy of thesis topic classification. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that both SVM and K-Means can be utilized by decision-makers to categorize thesis topics as a decision support system. Naive Bayes and Decision Tree were shown to optimize SVM and enhance its accuracy. Naive Bayes achieved the highest accuracy at 82.50%, while Decision Tree recorded an accuracy of 62.50%, making Naive Bayes the most suitable model for thesis classification.

Abstract

Abstracting, Documenting, and Archiving Network (ADAN) system was developed to address the challenges of scientific information management in the digital era by integrating abstraction, documentation, and archiving functions in one integrated platform. This study aims to design an efficient and responsive system to academic needs by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) technologies. In-depth literature study and needs analysis through interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and surveys of 250 academic respondents identified priorities such as fast access, data preservation, and content recommendations. ADAN is designed with a modular 5-tier architecture, supporting interoperability with standards such as Dublin Core and OAI-PMH. Test results show that automatic metadata extraction achieves 93% accuracy, 89% content classification, and 0.8 seconds search response time for 10,000 documents. The system also offers an intuitive user interface with a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 82.5, confirming its potential as an innovative solution in scientific information management.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has provided opportunities for various sectors to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, including in the field of ornamental plant sales. This study aims to design and implement a web-based Ornamental Plant Sales Information System at JA Garden to overcome the constraints of manual systems that often cause delays, errors, and lack of efficiency in managing sales data. This system is designed using various web-based programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, JSON, and PHP, with database processing based on Structured Query Language (SQLi). The supporting software used includes XAMPP version 5.6, Notepad++, and the Google Chrome browser. The results of this study indicate that the designed information system is able to produce accurate sales data, speed up the transaction process, and facilitate the delivery of information to customers and management. In addition, this system also reduces the level of errors in data management, which previously often occurred in manual systems. With this system, JA Garden can optimize its business processes, increase customer satisfaction, and strengthen competitiveness in the digital era. As a suggestion, the management of this system requires competent workers (brainware) to ensure that the system is used optimally and supports sustainable business development.

Abstract

The welfare of coastal communities in Pidie Regency still faces major challenges, especially related to poverty, where the majority of the population works as fishermen. This study aims to design a web-based decision support system (DSS) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to measure the level of welfare of coastal communities. The AHP method is used to determine the weight of the criteria, while TOPSIS is used to assess and rank the level of welfare. This system was developed using the PHP programming language and implemented through the XAMPP application. The results of the study show that this system is able to provide accurate and efficient information related to the level of welfare, so that it can be a reference for the government in formulating coastal community development policies.

Abstract

Karang Taruna organization as a forum for developing the younger generation has an important role in improving the social welfare of the community. However, along with the development of the era, the need for an efficient and integrated information system is increasingly urgent. This study aims to design and implement Web-Based System Innovation for Karang Taruna Aceh to Increase Efficiency and Access to Information. This system is designed to facilitate data management, increase transparency, and expand access to information for Karang Taruna members and the general public. The research method used is the waterfall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. This system is developed with web-based technology to ensure wide accessibility and ease of use. The results of the study show that this system is able to increase the efficiency of data management, accelerate the distribution of information, and support Karang Taruna activities in a more structured manner. With this system, it is hoped that Karang Taruna Aceh can be more optimal in carrying out its role as a forum for developing the younger generation and empowering the community. This study also contributes to the application of information technology for community organizations, especially in the increasingly developing digital era.
