Abstract

Conventional trading, where sellers and buyers meet at certain locations to carry out transactions, is increasingly being abandoned with technological developments. One of the innovations that has emerged is e-commerce. E-commerce allows buying and selling transactions online, freeing from geographical limitations. In this research, attention is limited to the Design of a Mobile Phone Sales Information System at the Delta Cellular Store. The purpose of this research is to understand the information system for selling cellphones at the shop and design a web-based information system for selling cellphones. The research results show that this Mobile Sales Application makes it easier to process transaction data and stock of goods. The development methods used include old system analysis, user needs analysis, system feasibility evaluation, process design using the DAD method, data design by designing tables, and user interface design using appropriate designs. This application was built using a web-based programming language with MySQL as the database. The level of accuracy of this application in recording transactions and cellphone stock can be adjusted based on certain time periods, which helps reduce the level of human error. This application can also handle price changes and item additions by allowing users to change this information through the sales transaction form. This application is designed to be simple and uses language that is easy for users to understand, so training in its operation does not require a long time.

Abstract

Higher education institutions need an efficient information system in managing teaching staff data, including contract lecturers, to ensure institutional effectiveness and productivity. However, there are still many universities that do not have adequate information systems, resulting in obstacles in administrative and management activities. Therefore, this research aims to design an Information System for Teaching Personnel (Contract Lecturers) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Syiah Kuala University. In this research, an analysis of the current system was carried out, the design of a new web-based system, and the implementation of a prototype-based development method were carried out. The research results show that the new information system can improve efficiency, security and accuracy in managing teaching staff data. Suggestions for further system development were also presented to improve the quality and flexibility of the system

Abstract

The use of information technology has become a necessity in the modern era. The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Syiah Kuala University still uses a manual approach in collecting inventory data, which makes it difficult for staff to process data and make reports. To overcome this challenge, this research offers the development of a web-based Goods Inventory Information System using PHP and MySQL. Data collection methods include field studies and literature studies. This research aims to understand existing inventory information systems, design new systems, and explore user needs. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this research analyzes the current system, designs improvement proposals, and implements them using the waterfall software development method. The result is an efficient and reliable inventory information system, which is expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of inventory management at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Syiah Kuala University. This research highlights the importance of integrating information technology in academic institutional administration to improve performance and efficiency.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the paradigm in seeking and sharing information, including in the world of commerce. E-commerce is one of the important innovations that changes transaction patterns to become easier and more efficient. The focus of this research is the design of an information system for selling household products at PT. Jaco Perfect Indosehat Banda Aceh Branch. The waterfall method is used in system development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The results of system design include input, output, process, control, labor and cost designs. The designed application has features such as Login Form, Main Menu, Item Input, Sales Input, Item List, and View Sales Transaction List. The conclusion shows that this system has the potential to increase the efficiency of sales data management. The suggestions put forward are to increase optimal use of computers, add quality brainware, and increase skills in using information technology. It is hoped that PT. Jaco Indosehat Perfect Banda Aceh Branch can utilize this system optimally to achieve its business goals.

Abstract

Information system development is a crucial step in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of company operations. This research aims to understand, design, and implement a data collection information system for car salons and body repairs at PT. Isuindomas Putra (Capella Body Center) in Banda Aceh City. Qualitative descriptive research methods are used to describe phenomena that occur in real situations, by collecting data through direct observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of the analysis show that the current information system experiences several weaknesses, such as slow processing, errors in making reports, and lack of data security. Therefore, the design of the new system was carried out using software development methods based on the software development life cycle (SDLC). Development steps include requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The discussion presents the results of ongoing system analysis and new system design to improve work effectiveness at PT. Isuindomas Putra (Capella Body Center) Banda Aceh City. The conclusion states that the implementation of a car salon and body repair information system provides significant benefits for the company, while suggestions are given for further development towards integration with the inventory system and providing complete accounting reports. Thus, the development of this information system is expected to increase the company's overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

At the Sabang City Regional Financial and Wealth Management Revenue Service (DPPKKD), tax data management still uses simple methods with Microsoft Excel, causing data duplication and errors in presenting and searching for data. To overcome this, this research designs a web-based information system using PHP and MySQL. This research aims to design a Tax Arrears Information System to increase the efficiency and accuracy of information. Research methods include field studies, FlowMap analysis, interviews, comparative analysis, system design, and hardware and software specifications. The results of the analysis show weaknesses in the data processing process, such as large operational costs, difficulty in managing data, and vulnerability to data duplication. Designing a new system involves program menu structures, program flowcharts, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and system input/output design. The required hardware and software specifications are also explained. In conclusion, the use of information systems can increase efficiency and accuracy in managing tax arrears data in the Sabang City DPPKKD.

Abstract

Pizza Hut Delivery is a retail company operating in the fast-food sector. In the manual ordering system, customers must either visit the outlet for take-away or call the call center for home delivery. This study aims to provide a solution for the Pizza Hut Delivery outlet in Tulungagung, allowing customers to place orders online. Through this system, customers can order directly via their gadgets or smartphones for both take-away and delivery services. The research utilizes the waterfall model with PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database server for data storage. The system is also equipped with Quick Response (QR) Code technology, enabling easy access to the Pizza Hut Delivery Tulungagung ordering website.

Abstract

PT Mobil KIA Indonesia in Bintaro is engaged in automotive sales, targeting middle- to upper-class consumers with stable economic backgrounds. The company offers various car brands imported directly from Korea to meet the demands of this market segment. However, customers often face challenges in selecting a vehicle that matches their personal criteria due to limited information provided in conventional formats. To address this, a web-based sales system utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is required, allowing customers to access detailed information anytime and anywhere. This system not only aids customers by offering recommendations based on their specified criteria but also supports a structured decision-making process in selecting suitable vehicles. By implementing this system, customers are better equipped to make informed decisions that align with their preferences, thereby enhancing their overall purchasing experience and satisfaction.

Abstract

The admission of new students is a critical process in educational institutions, designed to select candidates based on specific criteria set by the school. This process typically involves multiple stages, including registration, selection through testing, and the announcement of results. However, at SMK Harapan Bangsa, this process has been managed manually using paper-based documentation and Microsoft Excel, which is inefficient and prone to errors. This study aims to develop a web-based information system for new student admissions using the CodeIgniter 4 framework and MySQL database to streamline and enhance the process. The software development methodology employed in this research is the Waterfall model, which consists of analysis, design, implementation, and system testing stages. The result of this research is an information system that simplifies the access to new student admission information for parents and students, enabling them to register online and monitor the selection results more efficiently. Additionally, the system supports the school in automatically archiving and organizing registration data. This web-based solution offers a more structured and error-free process, significantly improving the overall efficiency and accuracy of the admissions procedure.

Abstract

The guest reservation information system is one of the data processing activities at SEI Hotel, designed to obtain more structured and accessible information about guest reservation reports. In this research, the author focuses on the design of a guest reservation information system at SEI Hotel using the CodeIgniter framework, with HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as database support. The objective of this research is to analyze and design the guest reservation information system at SEI Hotel using the CodeIgniter framework and the aforementioned programming languages and tools. Data collection for this report was conducted using two methods: literature review, which included books and other academic sources, and field studies through interviews and direct observation of relevant objects. The guest reservation information system was operated by an administrative staff member in the finance department to record and input guest reservation data. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the guest reservation information system at SEI Hotel follows the proper procedures by utilizing the CodeIgniter framework, with HTML, PHP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and MySQL as database support.
