Abstract

Problem this research is how to develop Kobela learning media increase the reading readiness of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD BIN Bengkulu? Aim this research is to develop Kobela learning media increase the reading readiness of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD BIN Bengkulu. Research method is Research and Development (R&D). Results state that the Kobela learning media is very valid, practical and effective in learning the fruit subtheme science. Data from research is valid after being validated by validators teams, material experts at 100% the very valid category, design experts at 92% the very valid category, and language experts at 94.5% the very valid category, which means media based learning. Kobela is valid for development, teacher's response Kobela learning media stated that it was very practical with a percentage gain of 88.3% and students posttest scores increased from an average of 1.93 to 4.02 with poor good criteria.Keywords: Reading Readiness; Kobela; Media.

Abstract

Language development is a crucial part of a child's development. In early childhood, learning can be carried out by utilizing concrete objects and learning media in the surrounding environment so that it can improve children's language skills. In Daarul Hayah Kindergarten, Pagar Alam, in group B, there are still many children who are less brave to ask questions and tend to be passive during the learning process. This is because the learning process is generally still conventional, the learning media used is still less varied and possibly less interesting for children. Sepin media is one of the media that can be used to improve children's language skills. Therefore, this study aims to see the extent of the influence of the use of Sepin media to improve the language skills of early childhood. This research is an experimental study. The experimental design used in this study is a quasi-experimental study, with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This research was conducted in 2 classes of Daarul Hayah Kindergarten, Pagar Alam City in the second semester from February to March 2025. The population in this study were all children of Daarul Hayah Kindergarten, Pagar Alam City, group B. The sample in this study was class B1 as the experiment and class B2 as the control class. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing. This study resulted in the influence of the use of SEPIN media on children's language skills at Daarul Hayah Kindergarten. Where the post-test scores calculated for the hypothesis test were shown in the experimental group and the control group. The average post-test score for the SEPIN media group was 17.5 (high) and the average post-test score for the group without SEPIN media was 13.9 (moderate) for children's language skills. This was proven by a t-test analysis: at a significance level of 0.05, the experimental class's value was tcount = 26.077, and the t-table obtained at dk 13 was ttable = 2.16037. This calculation revealed that tcount>ttable; thus, the findings are substantive.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mencaritahu strategi pelatih renang dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dandokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikkan kesimpulan, triangulasi data, ketersediaan referensi, dan konsutasi pembimbing. Strategi pelatihan renang untuk anak usia dini memerlukan pendekatan yang berbeda dan lebih sensitif daripada pelatihan untuk atlet dewasa. Strategi pelatih renang dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak usia dini di TK Tunas Harapan terbuktimembuahkan hasil dengan meningkatnya kepercayaan diri anak. Yang dimana dari strategi pelatih renang terhadap anak yang sudah terbiasa renang ditarik kesimpulan hingga menjadi suatu strategi yang peneliti pakai dengan dibantu oleh pelatih renang yang peneliti siapkan. Adapun strategi pelatih renang meliputi: adanya komunikasi antar pelatih dan murid, pendekatan mendalam antar pelatih dan murid, pemberian pujian, pemberian contoh atau metode yang nyaman, memberikan pembebasan mengeksplor, melakukan evaluasi atas pencapaian. Strategi ini diterapkan kepada anak-anak yang belum percaya diri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the role-playing method in instilling self-confidence in early childhood has a very important role in the child's life in the future. The role-playing method in instilling children's self-confidence is an effective learning for children because with the role-playing method children can imagine, explore, create something, get new experiences, children become happy, children become optimistic, and also be tolerant. In this study the author used a descriptive qualitative research method obtained from the field. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study was conducted in classes B1, B2, and B3 at Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten 26 Bengkulu City with a total of 43 students.

Abstract

Research aims to develop valid traditional game-based teaching materials to improve the development of children's religious and social emotional values at Nabilah Kindergarten, Bengkulu City. Type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Subjects were 14 children. Instruments used validation sheets (material experts, language experts, practitioner experts), teacher response questionnaires, pretest and posttest. Results were validated by validators from 3 expert teams, namely material experts with a percentage of 95%, language experts of 95%, and practitioner experts of 97.5% in the very valid category. Assessment sheet on the practicality of teachers' responses to teaching materials that have been developed have an average score of 88.8% in the very practical category. Pretest results obtained were 2.0 with poor assessment criteria and the posttest results were 4.1 with good criteria, this shows that traditional game-based teaching materials are effective for children

Abstract

One method in learning to read the Qur'an with the Iqro' method is the method in the Iqro' Al-Mansury book, the method used in the Iqro' Al-Mansury book by Dr. KH Ah Mansur, SE., M.Pd.I, which is a guidebook for reading the Qur'an for children. In this book, the method used is an interactive-integrative method between the talaqi method and games so that it can provide a new nuance in the treasure trove of learning to read the Qur'an. At the Al Azhaar PAUD institution in Lubuklinggau City, in learning to read the Qur'an, the Iqro' Al-Mansury book is used as a method of learning the Qur'an. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data sources used are primary and secondary data sources using three data collection methods, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The collected data will be analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the data analysis, the Al-Azhaar Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Lubuklinggau City has implemented the Iqro' Al Mansury method to improve children's understanding of reading the Quran. This method has been implemented for the past year. Research shows that children are more enthusiastic about learning using the Iqro' Al Mansury book because it includes talaqi (recitation) and independent methods, as well as a combination of games and songs. This allows them to more quickly understand the hijaiyah letters and read the Quran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of Besemah language communication and teacher involvement on improving language literacy in children at a public kindergarten in Pagar Alam City. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of declining Besemah language use among kindergarten children, despite this language being an important part of local identity. This study used quantitative methods and involved teachers at a public kindergarten in Pagar Alam City as research subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results indicate that the use of Besemah language communication and teacher involvement have a significant influence on improving children's language literacy. The use of Besemah language in learning helps children feel more confident and motivated to learn, while teacher involvement creates a conducive learning environment and supports children's language development. This study emphasizes the importance of preserving regional languages in early childhood education and the need for synergy between teachers, parents, and the community in supporting the development of children's language literacy.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the One Month Can Read (SB3) learning method in cultivating book affection among early childhood students at TKIT Ar Raihan, Pagar Alam City. While the SB3 method is renowned for its effectiveness in accelerating children's reading skills, this research specifically explores its impact on developing children's interest and love for books. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, parents, and students, as well as analysis of supporting documents such as lesson plans and children's work. The findings reveal that the SB3 method successfully creates an enjoyable and interactive learning environment where children not only learn to read quickly but also develop a strong interest in books. Key supporting factors include the use of engaging learning media, teachers' active role in storytelling, and parental involvement in accompanying children's reading activities at home. However, challenges such as time constraints and varying levels of children's comprehension were also identified. Overall, the SB3 method proves effective not only in enhancing reading skills but also in instilling reading habits and fostering book affection from an early age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh dan lingkungan bermain anak terhadap kecerdasan sosial emosional anak TK Iqra Rahma Kota Pagar Alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional kausal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan sampel sebanyak 20 anak yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari pola asuh, khususnya pola asuh demokratis, terhadap kecerdasan sosial emosional anak. Selain itu, ditemukan pula bahwa lingkungan bermain yang aman dan interaktif berperan penting dalam perkembangan kemampuan komunikasi, empati, dan regulasi diri anak. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier parsial dan ganda. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pola asuh dan lingkungan bermain secara signifikan mempengaruhi kecerdasan sosial emosional anak, sehingga perlu adanya lingkungan bermain yang kondusif dan mendorong praktik pengasuhan yang positif.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) Analyze teachers' understanding regarding the implementation of mutual cooperation aspects in the independent curriculum at kindergarten states fourteen South Bengkulu, 2)Identifying forms of activities that involve aspects of mutual cooperation, and 3) Assessing the impact of implementing the mutual cooperation aspect on the social development and character of children. This study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that teachers have a good understanding of the importance of mutual cooperation as a cultural value that must be instilled from an early age, and have implemented it through an age-appropriate approach. The mutual cooperation activities carried out included group games such as assembling puzzles, building block towers, ball relays, and community service inside and outside the classroom. The positive impact was seen in the increased attitudes of cooperation, helping each other, socialization, sharing, and empathy in children.
