Abstract

This article elaborates on the contribution of thought by Osman Nuri Topbaş in responding to modern science. Science has an inherent paradigm: nature has a law that has a fixed character and does not change, so it works mechanically and God is no longer involved in the next movement of nature. The consequence of this paradigm is that science is very quantitative and positivistic with empirical methods and mathematical logic. To respond to this paradigm, Topbaş is critical on the one hand but is appreciative of scientific findingson the other hand. His critical attitude is aimed at the establishment of scientists who deny metaphysical cosmology, while his appreciative attitudeis shown by making scientific data a reinforcement of the spiritual dimension of Sufism. The weakness of scientists must be refinedwith Sufism. Because Sufism perusesinside and reveals the secrets and wisdom of all universe phenomena. If science focuses on the material and visible world, Sufism guides human beingsto explore deeper into the realm of reality. This means that every discovery related to the material world is proof of the mightand dominanceof the Creator. From this fact, it can be said that science helps reveal the wonders of divine art to the surface, while Sufism directs humans to increasingly admire and appreciate the Creator.

Abstract

The existence of al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah is one of the main parts of pesantren education. It can be seen as a perfect representation of pesantren education: cultivating knowledge, moral discipline, and spiritual discernment. Historically, the al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah tradition cannot be separated from the network between kiai, both in the nusantara and with Islamic centers in various countries, especially in Arab countries. This paper aims to reveal two things; first, what al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah practiced by the masyayikh of Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep, and second, does the al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah masyayikh Annuqayah have a sanad connection with Islamic boarding schools in the nusantara. Data was collected by interviewing kiai of Annuqayah and related subjects and collecting documents related to their al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah references. The data is seen in the paradigm of sanad theory outside of hadith scholarship, to trace the continuity of sanad al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah masyayikh Annuqayah.There are two conclusions found. First, al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah masyayikh Annuqayah refers to the book al-A'māl al-Yaumiyyah al-Mukammalah published by Pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa which collects al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah of Kiai Muhammad Ilyas bin Muhammad Syarqawi. Second, sanad al-a'māl al-yaumiyyah masyayikh Annuqayah is not connected with pesantren in the nusantara, but with Habib Tohir bin Husein bin Tohir, a scholar from Hadramaut, Yemen.

Abstract

Resilience is a person's ability to recover from crises and challenges encountered in life. Sufism or Sufistic values ​​in the workplace for employees on a regular basis can ensure employee resilience remains safe, good and effective during crisis situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to find out how the values ​​of Sufism work in the workplace as resilient employees during the crisis. This research is qualitative research. The subjects in the research were 3 employees who worked in the office during the crisis. Data collection methods use interviews and observation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Sufism values ​​in the workplace can function as a foundation for the growth of a positive mentality and morality for resilient employees during a crisis. Sufism values ​​contain Illahiyah (divinity) values; second, Insaniyah (humanity) values; and the third is the Alamiyah (naturalness) values which of course are really needed by employees to remain resilient in difficult situations. Employee resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis includes self-efficacy, emotional regulation, impulse control, empathy and optimism in carrying out work in the office during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school regulations are made to be obeyed in the hope that the students can live by the commendable norms of Islamic boarding schools. However, in reality, many students do not heed these regulations. To help increase student obedience with Islamic boarding school regulations, good self-acceptance is needed for each individual. For this reason, researchers feel it is necessary to study the influence of students’ self-acceptance on obedience with Islamic boarding school regulations. This research aims to find out two things: 1) Can students’ self-acceptance influence obedience with Islamic boarding school regulations? 2) How big is the influence of student’ self-acceptance on obedience with Islamic boarding school regulations? To answer this, the researcher used a quantitative correlation approach. This research is located at PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa Selatan Putri with a sample size of 31 people from a population of 307. The researcher did not provide specific criteria for the sample, because all populations have the same potential. Research data was obtained from distributing questionnaires using a simple random sampling technique and the analysis process by testing hypotheses using a simple linear regression test with the prerequisites that the data must be valid, reliable, normally distributed and linear. The final result of the research show that students’ self-acceptance has a positive effect on obedience with Islamic boarding school regulations with a Pearson correlation value of 0,466 and the participation of students’ self-acceptance in increasing obedience with Islamic boarding school regulations is 21,7 %.

Abstract

Stroke is brain damage that appears suddenly, progressively and rapidly due to non- traumatic brain blood circulation disorders. Stroke was the second highest cause of death in the world in 2015 and the highest cause of death in Indonesia in 2014 (1); The aim of this research is to find out what the process of implementing Sufistic counseling is to increase the life motivation of a stroke patient in Hargomulyo village, Sekampung District, East Lampung Regency. , To find out what the physiological and psychological conditions of stroke patients are like after being given the application of Sufistic counseling in Hargomulyo village, Sekampung sub-district, East Lampung regency (2); This research uses qualitative research methods with a field research approach. The data sources used were primary data sources that used the snowball sampling technique in this research, namely the NS informant, the NS informant's wife, and the three children of the NS informant. Meanwhile, secondary data sources use journals, articles, books, the internet, notes and documentation. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. As well as data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions (3); The results of this research are: the process of implementing Sufistic counseling to increase life motivation in a stroke patient in Hargomulyo Village, Sekampung District, East Lampung Regency can be carried out in several stages, namely Takhalli, Tahalli, and Tajalli; There was an increase in motivation to live in stroke patients who in this study were NS informants after being given sufistic counseling, which was seen from the results of NS informant meetings conducted by researchers which showed that the condition improved gradually; There was an improvement in the physiological condition of NS informants, such as starting to be able to walk, being able to sit and eat on their own and doing light activities. Meanwhile, regarding the psychological condition of informant NS, he felt calm and enthusiastic about recovering from his stroke (4).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of drinking water with the recitation of surat al-fatihah to reduce sleepiness in the classroom. The method used is quasi experimental method with the design "pretest posttest control group design". The study population was students of Madrasah Diniyah Annuqayah Latee 1 Guluk-Guluk Sumenep East Java. The sample research amounted to 30 students, each group consisted of 15 students by using two instruments namely the Sleepiness Scale and the Sleepiness Module which was developed by the researcher. The conclusion of the results of this study are: (1) drinking water with the recitation of surat al-Fatihah is effective to reduce sleepiness in the classroom. The test results of- t pired sample t-test which has significance value of 0.000 (0,000< 0.05). Students who received the treatment obtained a higher mean decrease in sleepiness (48, 40) compared to before treatment (64, 73). (2) there is a significant difference in posttet between the drowsiness condition of the experimental group and the control group after the experimental group was treated, this is indicated by test results of -t independent sample t-test, which has a significance value of 0.000 (0.000 < P 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. Based on the significance value, it can be concluded that the treatment of drinking water with the recitation of surat al-fatihah is effective to reduce sleepiness in the classroom of students of Madrasah Diniyah Annuqayah Latee 1 Guluk-Guluk Sumenep East Java.

Abstract

hifdzul lisan is one of the manners in Islam in speaking well or maintaining one's words in communication. hifdzul lisan on the communication patterns of daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law can form a good relationship of mutual love, appreciation and respect. However, in reality, nowadays, daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law often become conflicted in the family because there are often arguments. This research aims to reveal two things: 1) What are the forms and 2) what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of oral hifdẓul in the communication patterns of daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law in Kebunagung Village, Kota District, Sumenep Regency. The researcher is based on the phenomenological method with Al-Ghazali's theory regarding the meaning of hifdzul lisan. This research was designed using qualitative methods with a phenomenological study approach with data collection obtained by observation, interviews and documentation as well as the validity of the data. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive analysis through data presentation, data presentation and conclusions. From the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) The form of oral hifdẓul is speaking as needed, having limits, not talking too much and preferring to remain silent when speaking is harmful. Using soft local Madurese language as a symbol of respect in manners. (2) Supporting factors include support from people closest to you such as husband, distance, and reciprocal behavior. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of support from the husband, not controlling emotions and thoughts well, the existence of several family conflicts, the age factor for the mother-in-law in her middle age.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the forms self actualization of students (management) of the Annuqayah nourth Lubangsa Islamic Boarding School in fulfilling her responsibilities. As well as to find out strategies or obstacles to the self actualization of Islamic boarding school students (administers) Annuqayah nourth Lubangsa Islamic Boarding School in fulfilling her matter. Because it is not uncommon for a student to stiil not be able to realize it potential because there are responsibilities that must be fulfilled. By therefore, this research will reveal how a student can realizing its potential while also having to fulfill it his responsibility. This research uses case study methods and using Carl R. Rogers self actualization theory as a means of analysis. The research subjects consisted of five students, all with backrounds different rear. The research results show that the form self actualization of students (management) in fulfilling their responsibilities based on three aspects of Carl Rogers perspective, namely creativity, feeling freedom, and openness to experience is by attunement the potential of the Islamic boarding school program being implemented. So that can earn plus points, make your self a deadline voluntariliy, not under coercion from others. So that later you will become a person which is always productive and upgrades the potential we have. That is, if today we falled, so tomorrow must be better. While the strategy for self actualization of students (administrators) in fulfilling their responsibilities is by having figures who can be emulated, writing what potential they will achieve in a diary, discipline or commitment in terms of time, doing small things, a supportive environment, and doing responsibilties that he carries out well. And the obstacles to self actualization of students (administrators) in fulfilling their responsibilities are not being able to manage their time, lack of confidence in their potential, not being able to be disciplined in the process of self actualization, not being able to recognize the potential that exists within them, and doubting their potential owned.

Abstract

The aspect of spirituality today is very crucial in supporting the orientation of human life in the future, which is basically being hit by an existential crisis. Thus, it is necessary to present a figure who can be a role model in dealing with this existential crisis problem, namely KH. Ahmad Basyir Abdullah Sajjad. This aims to be a guideline for humans, therefore, they are not trapped in a materialistic and hedonistic life. This research is a qualitative research with a transpersonal psychology approach carried out by Abraham Maslow, with a biographical narrative research method. From the results of this study, it is evident that KH. Ahmad Basyir Abdullah Sajjad is a perfect figure in implementing a figure who has a high level of spirituality as stated by Abraham Maslow.

Abstract

Krisis ekologis atau permasalahan lingkungan menjadi problem masa kini. Krisis ini mengundang manusia sejagat untuk mencari solusi bersama. Santri yang tinggal di pesantren diharapkan berperan aktif dalam gerakan pelestarian lingkungan. Sebagaimana pondok pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa Putri yang memulai gerakan pelestarian lingkungan dengan mendirikan komunitas Ekologi Lubangsa Putri. Kelompok ini melakukan gerakan pengelolaan sampah dan bercocok tanam. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: peran santri dalam gerakan pelestarian lingkungan di PPA. Lubangsa Putri. Kemudian, nilai-nilai eko-sufisme dalam gerakan pelestarian lingkungan, dan faktor yang mempengaruhi gerakan pelestarian lingkungan berbasis nila-nilai eko-sufisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi etnografi. Sumber datanya adalah tim ekologi Lubangsa Putri dan dua santri aktif Lubangsa Putri. Peneliti menggunakan teori eko- sufisme Seyyed Hossein Nasr. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan, bahwa peran santri dalam gerakan pelestarian lingkungan di PPA. Lubangsa Putri meliputi: menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, menyebarkan kesadaran dan kepedulian pada masalah lingkungan, memberikan pemahaman terkait pengelolaan sampah dan bercocok tanam, dan mengurangi dampak buruk sampah. Adapun nilai-nilai eko-sufisme dalam gerakan pelestarian lingkungan di PPA. Lubangsa Putri, yaitu: nilai mahabbah, sabar, syukur, silaturahim (kekeluargaan), tadabbur alam, ikhlas. Kemudian faktor berdirinya komunitas ekologi Lubangsa Putri dalam gerakan pelestarian lingkungan di PPA. Lubangsa Putri terdapat dua faktor: faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Adapun faktor pendukung Internal yaitu untuk menindak lanjuti dari sekolah lingkungan di kebun Assalam Prancak Pasongsongan atas dukungan pengasuh dan ekternalnya adanya anggapan baik yaitu Annuqayah diakui sebagai pesantren yang berbasis eko-pesantren, dan relasi baik antar komunitas peletarian lingkungan luar daerah, sedang faktor penghambatnya kurangnya arahan untuk mengelola sampah dengan baik.
