Abstract

This research if to identify the Midwife’s Communication Strategy in Improving Healthy Life of Pregnant Mothers at Buluri, Ulujadi District. The base of this research is to analyze as many data sources as possible using descriptive method. This research is for investigating the activity and human labour. From this research results will be used to give recommendations for future uses. The subjects of this research are pregnant mothers in assumption that know and understand to be giving accurate informations. Data gathering method for this research are using interview and direct observation in the POSYANDU activities. This research proves that pregnant mothers don’t have understanding about healthy diet that pregnant mothers are needed. Other than that, they haven’t yet understand about healthy life and didn’t apply daily healthy life diet.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the meaning of the non-verbal messages contained in the Lauje Tribe Wedding Procession in Tinombo Village, Tinombo District, Parigi Moutong Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques used being observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis, which is used without using calculations. The data is then described in the form of sentences or narratives, either obtained from interviews or observations. The results of the research show that in the marriage procession of the Lauje tribe there are symbols and meanings consisting of Kinesik: namely facial messages in the form of smiles that emerge from the faces of the bride and groom which are interpreted as a form of pleasure and joy, gestural messages in the form of movements when rubbing henna leaves on the two The bride and groom's palms are interpreted as praying for the two partners so that their married life will always be in harmony and will be kept away from divorce and the movements used by the bridal couple at the stage of Popopene (mother-in-law) which is interpreted as when the husband and wife come home from the garden and bring The crops from the plantation are what are cooked and eaten together. Apart from that, when the bride incorrectly carries out the stages in Popopene (father-in-law) it will have an impact on their marriage, whether it be on the bride in the household or on their children later. Paralinguistic: the sound of the sambra and drum which is interpreted as a warm welcome to the guests of the Olongian king. Artifactual: Kabayaa (echo) is yellow, symbolizing the descendants of the Olongian king; yellow sarong, symbolizing bravery when facing enemies; The milk chocolate colored jacket symbolizes being the head of the family.

Abstract

This study looks at the Conflict Resolution Communication model using descriptive qualitative research methods, through a conflict management model approach. The research subjects of PT Nusajaya Persadatama Mandiri (NPM) with the object of the research are several who work in the company (Humas Team, KTT), village officials and also the community. The results of this study used the company's steps, namely: 1) did not meet the people of Matarape Village directly, 2) accommodating community demands through the village government, 3) considering the demands and also the rules that must be met by the company, 4) transfer of Fee (cash) to Community Empowerment Program (PPM), 5) Community Empowerment Program is a solution in the conflict resolution process. The program which initially became a problem in the community due to a lack of public understanding regarding the Community Empowerment Program (PPM) made the community prefer cash fees, but some programs that have been realized can be directly benefited by the village community.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) To explain the acculturation that occurred (a study of intercultural communication between the Bugis and Lauje tribes in Balukang Village). (2) To explain the acculturation factors that occur between different ethnic groups (a study of intercultural communication between the Bugis and Lauje tribes in Balukang Village). This type of research is descriptive qualitative, namely by examining the data obtained from the field and then describing or describing the results of the research. The informants of this research are people who are selected based on certain considerations that they are considered competent to answer the researcher's questions. Primary data were obtained through participant observation and in-depth interviews. Secondary data is obtained through literature study in the form of books, journals and so on related to the problem under study. The results obtained indicate that acculturation has occurred (a study of intercultural communication between the Bugis and Lauje tribes in Balukang Village).

Abstract

In the process of interaction between the Kaili and Javanese people, it requires harmonious social relations with the living conditions of individuals and groups who live in line with community members who live their respective natures marked by solidarity and harmony in societies that have different cultures. This study aims to determine the interactions that occur between the Kaili and Javanese people in the "Wisata Mas" Culinary Village in Nunu Village. This research uses descriptive qualitative research and data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. This research method uses direct observation techniques through the interview process. The results of this study indicate that the Cultural Interaction of the "Wisata Mas" Culinary Village of Nunu Village is in accordance with the Accommodation theory, namely adjustment to the place where they live. Harmonization and harmony between the Kaili people and the Javanese people are in accordance with the accommodation theory. In the theory of accommodation as a process, the harmonization and harmony between the Kaili Tribe and the Javanese in the "Wisata Mas" Culinary Village is called tolerance. Harmonization and harmony in the culinary village "Wisata Mas" are well established, the community is able to build good interactions, tolerate and build mutual respect for one another.

Abstract

This study uses framing analysis to determine the reality constructed by the media through the frame displayed on a news story. The formulation of the problem in this study aims to find out the framing of news about pedophilia in Islamic educational institutions constructed by online media Tribunnews.com based on the perspective of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research corpus consisted of five news stories published during the period from January to April 2022 using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study at the syntactic level display the news of pedophilia in the Islamic educational environment ranging from headlines, leads, background information, source quotations, statements, closing chronologically with writing using an inverted pyramid structure. The construction of reality formed Tribunnews.com in the reporting of pedophilia in the Islamic religious education environment often uses long but representative news headlines with the content of the news. In its reporting, Tribunnews.com still prioritize objectivity in constructing events based on the delivery of source information in news texts. The construction of Tribunnews.com news related to pedophiles in Islamic religious educational institutions is presented by highlighting a certain side to the aspect of morality to attract the attention of the reader.

Abstract

This study aims, firstly, to describe how the process of the sambulu gana tradition in the marriage custom of the Kaili Rai Tribe in Mamboro Barat Village, North Palu District. The second is to describe what the symbolic meaning of the sambulu gana tradition is in the Kaili Rai Tribe Wedding in Mamboro Barat Village, North Palu District. This research is a qualitative research using snowball sampling method. The main purpose of using the descriptive method is to describe the nature of a situation that is currently running at the time the research is conducted and to examine the causes of a particular symptom. The informants in this study were the traditional leaders and traditional leaders of the Kaili Rai tribe in Labuan Beru. Data collection techniques were carried out through three steps, namely: (1) direct observation, (2) interviews, (3) documentation. The results of this study indicate that the people of West Mamboro Village, North Palu District, when married, must carry out the traditional sambulu gana tradition consisting of areca nut, betel nut, lime, tobacco, gambier, one goat and one gold ring. The sambulu gana custom is a custom that must be carried out in the marriage of the Kaili Rai tribe in the West Mamboro Village, North Palu District.

Abstract

The incident of forest fires in South Sumatra Province became one of the news topics that were actually presented in various mass media, one of which was Detik.com. This study aims to determine the framing of forest and land fire reports published by Detik.com using the perspective of Murray Edelman's framing model. This research uses Murray Edelman's framing analysis model approach, namely categorization and ideology. This research is a qualitative descriptive type. The unit of analysis in this news is texts related to forest and land fires that occurred in South Sumatra which were published by Detik.com media from August 8, 2020, to September 1, 2020, based on observations found in 6 (six) reports of forest and land fires. The results showed that Detik.com framed the news of forest and land fires in South Sumatra by forming a new reality that the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, was a superior figure and a leader who resolved the problems of forest and land fires that occurred in the Musi Banyuasin area, Banyuasin. , Ogan Ilir, Ogan Komering Ilir and Panukal Abab Lematang Ilir. The efforts made by Herman Deru in resolving forest and land fires are by utilizing great facilities, both from professional personnel and up-to-date tools, and involving foreign assistance.

Abstract

The research looked at the campaign model by using descriptive qualitative research, through the Nowak campaign model approach and Warneryd.The subject of this research consists of Public Health Center Baras 2 Pasangkayu District and the object of the research is the mother who is in charge of health promotion at Public Health Center Baras 2 and breasfeeding mother. The researcher conducted an interview to the officers of Public Health Center which served as a health promotion to convince the pregnant women and breasfeeding mother about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding during 0 months to 6 months. The results of this research have several stages, namely the effect that the campaign is expected to be carried out by Public Health Center to change the mindset of the community to be able to give breast milk to the babies, provide education through dietary counseling, eating behavior and physical activity for pregnant women and mothers breastfeed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of issues related to cash stimulus carried out by the Village Government of Mpanau Kec. Sigi Biromaru. This study uses a qualitative method on the basis of case study research. Research data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews. The analysis used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study are: 1. Identification of issues, forms a special team to monitor issues in the community environment; 2. Analyzing issues, three issues that have a major impact are delays in distribution, unilateral changes to the list of beneficiaries and changes in the amount of funds; 3. Strategies for responding to issues, educating the community through outreach, deliberations on determining the list of beneficiaries in a transparent manner and tightening the implementation of the distribution; 4. Implementation of the program, socialization is carried out by the Village Head and all persons in of assistance to the Mpanau Village community, holding large deliberations in transparently select prospective beneficiaries and tighten the distribution; and 5. Evaluate, continue to modify the preparation of the strategy and its implementation to increase public trust.
