Abstract

One way to evaluate a country's economic condition is by examining the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at the national level or the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at the regional level. In Indonesia, the manufacturing industry is the largest contributor to GDP. Within this sector, micro and small-scale industries (MSIs) play a vital role. MSIs significantly drive economic development, with their impact varying across different geographical locations, thus influencing the GRDP of various regions. Therefore, it is essential to analyze GRDP with spatial considerations, examining how the MSI sector affects economic growth in Indonesia through spatial panel data regression. This study employs spatial models such as the Spatial Autoregressive Model (SAR) and the Spatial Error Model (SEM) with fixed effects to understand these dynamics. The research aims to identify and describe the MSI-related factors that affect economic growth in Indonesia's provinces. The findings indicate that the most suitable model is the Spatial Autoregressive Model Fixed Effect (SAR-FE). The study identifies two significant independent variables influencing economic growth: the number of micro and small-scale industries (X1) and inflation (X6). The results demonstrate that increases in these variables correlate with a decrease in the economic growth rate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of education on national income using the Pooled Ordinary Least Squares (POLS) model approach. The data used includes average years of schooling, national income per capita, as well as control variables such as investment in infrastructure, unemployment rate, and inflation. The results of the analysis show that education level has a positive and significant influence on national income per capita, with each one-year increase in average years of schooling increasing income by IDR150 thousand. On the other hand, investment in infrastructure shows a positive but statistically insignificant impact. Unemployment and inflation rates have a negative impact on national income, albeit insignificant. These findings underscore the importance of investing in education as a strategy to improve economic welfare. Policy recommendations include improving access and quality of education as well as developing strategies to reduce unemployment and inflation. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers in formulating sustainable and inclusive economic development measures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job stress and job insecurity on turnover intention among employees of Indomaret and Alfamart in the Solo Raya region. Utilizing a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 384 respondents through a questionnaire employing a Likert scale as the measurement tool. Regression analysis results indicate that job stress significantly and positively affects turnover intention, with a regression coefficient of 0.492. Similarly, job insecurity also demonstrates a significant positive relationship, as reflected by a regression coefficient of 0.399. The R-squared value of 39.9% suggests that these two independent variables collectively explain variations in turnover intention, although external factors also play a role. These findings highlight that work-related stress and job insecurity are key determinants driving employees' desire to leave their organizations. Therefore, strategic efforts are required to manage the work environment effectively to mitigate the risk of turnover intention. This study offers significant practical implications for human resource management policy development, particularly in enhancing employee retention in the retail sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh elemen digital marketing, seperti medsos, promosi, ulasan produk, dan personal branding, terhadap tindakan aktual konsumen, khususnya pada produk kosmetik Make Over. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur seberapa jauh elemen-elemen marketing digital tersebut memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner ini yang melibatkan 150 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh di setiap-setiap variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial dan promosi memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sementara ulasan produk dan personal branding berperan sebagai faktor pendukung dalam membangun kepercayaan konsumen. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya integrasi strategi pemasaran digital dalam membangun koneksi yang lebih kuat dengan konsumen dan meningkatkan loyalitas terhadap merek. Hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi perusahaan kosmetik untuk memanfaatkan teknologi digital dan pendekatan berbasis data untuk mencapai daya saing yang lebih baik di pasar. Kata Kunci: Pemasaran Digital, Media Sosial, Personal Branding, Promosi, Keputusan Pembelian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee performance at KFC Indonesia, a leading global fast-food company. In this context, organizational culture encompasses the values, norms, and practices shaping workplace interactions, while organizational commitment refers to employees' emotional attachment and dedication to company objectives. A quantitative approach was employed, involving a survey of 100 active KFC Indonesia employees. Multiple regression analysis was applied to examine the relationship between the independent variables (organizational culture and commitment) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The findings indicate that organizational culture significantly contributes to enhancing employee performance by fostering an environment conducive to innovation and collaboration. Meanwhile, organizational commitment exerts a greater influence than culture, underscoring the importance of emotional attachment, loyalty, and a sense of belonging among employees. This research offers strategic recommendations to strengthen both factors to achieve optimal organizational performance in the competitive fast-food industry.

Abstract

To change financial statements for certain purposes, such as improving financial image or avoiding tax regulations, companies often use earnings management. The financial structure of a company, including its liquidity, leverage, capital intensity, and size, can affect this earnings management practice. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between financial structure and earnings management in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. This study uses secondary data obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the IDX; 55 companies out of 171 companies meet certain criteria, and 260 data are obtained from the financial statements of these companies. The results of the study indicate that capital intensity has a negative effect on earnings management in manufacturing companies; liquidity, leverage, and company size do not affect earnings management.

Abstract

The phenomenon of impulsive buying has been on the rise during major promotional events such as 12.12, where e-commerce platforms compete to offer significant discounts and interactive shopping experiences to attract consumers. These events often leverage a combination of competitive pricing strategies and live streaming features like Shopee Live to drive spontaneous purchasing behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of Price and Shopee Live on impulsive buying behavior among consumers in Solo. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing primary data collected through surveys of 60 respondents. The respondents were Solo residents aged over 18 who had used Shopee Live and had experience shopping via the feature. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression, with classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation to ensure the validity of the results. The findings reveal that both Price and Shopee Live significantly influence impulsive buying behavior. The significance value for the Price variable was 0.020, while the Shopee Live variable showed a significance value of 0.000, indicating a more dominant influence of the live streaming feature. Price affects impulsive buying behavior through consumers' perception of product value, while Shopee Live, with its real-time interaction and exclusive promotions, creates urgency and strong emotional appeal, encouraging unplanned purchases. These findings underscore that a competitive pricing strategy, when combined with interactive features like Shopee Live, can effectively enhance product appeal and drive impulsive buying behavior during major events like 12.12. This study provides practical implications for e-commerce businesses to design integrated marketing campaigns by leveraging Shopee Live as a tool to enhance customer loyalty and encourage spontaneous purchases, particularly in the increasingly competitive digital shopping era. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates on economic growth in Indonesia. Economic growth is a key indicator in evaluating the performance of a country's economy, making it crucial to understand the factors that impact it, which has significant implications for economic policy. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of time series data from the year 2000 to 2023, obtained from official sources such as the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI). The analytical method employed is multiple regression, which allows for identifying the relationship between independent variables inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates and the dependent variable, which is economic growth measured through Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The results of the study indicate that inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates have significant effects on economic growth. Inflation was found to have the most dominant negative impact, showing that high inflation rates can hinder economic growth by reducing purchasing power and disrupting investment

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of housing prices in Yogyakarta, focusing on structural property features such as land area, bedrooms, bathrooms, vehicle slots, and house area. Utilizing a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression on secondary data, the research identifies land area as the most significant predictor of property value, followed by bedrooms and bathrooms. Vehicle slots provide moderate influence, while house area shows a lesser impact. These findings highlight the critical role of land scarcity and urban growth in shaping housing prices, offering actionable insights for policymakers, urban planners, and developers. Future studies should explore qualitative factors like neighborhood quality and cultural influences to complement these results.

Abstract

This research analyzes the digital marketing strategies employed by Valefarm Hydroponics Surakarta to boost sales of hydroponic vegetables. With technological advancements and increased internet usage, digital marketing has become vital in agricultural product marketing. Using a participatory approach, the study involved in a collaborative research method involving researchers and community members. Findings reveal that Valefarm has effectively utilized social media, SEO, and online marketplaces to enhance visibility and sales, despite facing market competition and resource constraints. The study concludes that effective digital marketing is crucial for improving competitiveness and sales in the hydroponic vegetable sector.
