Abstract

The City of Surakarta holds significant potential for innovation development; however, its growth has thus far been hindered by the lack of optimal engagement from various stakeholders, such as local government agencies, academia, and the private sector. The background of this study is to identify the factors that obstruct innovation growth and to formulate strategies that can improve the city's innovation score. The objective of this research is to develop policy recommendations that can strengthen the innovation ecosystem, as well as to draft a comprehensive roadmap to guide the effective implementation of innovation initiatives. The analysis shows that suboptimal engagement, lack of coordination among stakeholders, and limited capacity in human resources and technological infrastructure are the main challenges. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of building a structured collaboration platform, developing human resource capacity, and preparing a clear innovation roadmap to achieve sustainable innovative growth. The implications of these recommendations include the need for adequate budget allocation, strengthened coordination among stakeholders, and intensive training to enhance skills in technology and innovation management. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of cross-sector collaboration strategies with technology and human capacity development into a holistic approach, along with the emphasis on active community participation in the innovation process. By implementing these recommendations, it is expected that the City of Surakarta can create an inclusive and sustainable innovation environment, which will ultimately support local economic growth and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, foreign investment, and interest rates on Indonesia's economic growth from 2000 to 2023. The data used in the study are secondary data and time series collected from various reliable official sources, including the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and other relevant institutions. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach to assess the research hypothesis. The results of this study state that inflation has a positive and significant influence on economic growth. In contrast, interest rate has a negative influence. Foreign direct investment does not show a significant effect on economic growth, although it remains important in the context of investment. The study concludes that long-term economic growth depends on stable inflation and adequate interest rate control.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies of Posie Florist Solo in facing intense competition in the florist industry. Using a qualitative method and participatory approach, data were collected through observations and in-depth interviews with employees and the store owner. The results indicate that Posie Florist combines digital and traditional marketing strategies, including the use of social media (Instagram, Facebook, website, TikTok) and participation in bazaars and workshops. The implementation of a marketing mix that includes product innovation, competitive pricing, strategic location, and effective promotions helps them maintain their market position and enhance competitiveness.

Abstract

Digital marketing is among the most successful and efficientmarketing models amidst the rapid and massive changes in technology. Compared to traditional advertising such as print or television ads, digital marketing is often more cost-efficient. The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of online advertising in growing sales at Posie Florist, a business engaged in floristry. Through a participatory research approach, which actively involves itself in Posie Florist's digital marketing activities, including content development and social media management like the website, Instagram, and TikTok. Additionally, this study reveals a number of implementation problems digital marketing in SMEs, as well as finding that digital marketing contributes much to creating a pleasant brand image and increasing customer loyalty. Effective digital marketing strategies can also help Posie Florist reach a wider target market and compete in an increasingly competitive market. This study offers a significant involvement in thedevelopment of digital marketing science, especially in the context of SMEs, and provides practical recommendations for business actors who want to increase sales through digital channels.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Export Schools in increasing the capacity of prospective exporters in Indonesia through a project-based learning approach in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. The main focus of this study is to identify the contribution of Export Schools in developing technical competencies, managerial skills, and cross-cultural understanding of students in the export sector. The research method used is Participatory Research, where students are actively involved in field-based export projects. The research findings show that Export Schools play a key role in forming new exporters who are competent and ready to compete in the global market. The project-based learning approach allows students to be directly involved in field practices, from managing export documents to managing international supply chains. This involvement contributes to improving technical skills and data-based decision making. Overall, the results of this study confirm that Export Schools make a significant contribution to strengthening the capacity of prospective exporters, supporting Indonesia's export competitiveness, and playing a role in achieving the national target of producing 500.000 new exporters by 2030.

Abstract

Kedaulatan pangan masyarakat adat di Desa Lolong, Kecamatan Nagawutung, Nusa Tenggara Timur, bergantung pada pertanian tradisional dengan tanaman utama jagung, padi ladang, dan ubi-ubian. Meskipun tanaman ini tahan terhadap kekeringan, ketergantungan pada curah hujan, rendahnya pengetahuan tentang teknologi modern, dan terbatasnya akses terhadap sarana menghambat produktivitas pertanian. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi pola produksi, konsumsi pangan, luas lahan dan produktivitas, serta identifikasi usulan produksi komoditas, dengan sebagian besar hasil panen dikonsumsi sendiri dan sisanya dijual di pasar lokal, yang dipersulit oleh masalah transportasi dan pasar terbatas. Upaya pembentukan kelompok tani dan pelatihan pengolahan produk pangan diusulkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan. Pola konsumsi masyarakat yang didasarkan pada pangan lokal dan protein dari sumber terbatas, menyebabkan ketergantungan tinggi dan kerentanan terhadap perubahan hasil panen. Pengelolaan sampah di desa sudah efektif, dengan pemanfaatan limbah menjadi pupuk organik dan pakan ternak untuk mendukung pertanian dan peternakan yang lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program is designed to develop students skills and competencies. This article aims to analyze the development of self-competence within the MBKM program based on the perceptions of students participating in the Independent Study on Data. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to students in the Independent Study program, with a total of 31 respondents. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documents. Data processing was conducted using the qualitative analysis method by Miles and Huberman, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and data interpretation. The findings of this research indicate that the MBKM program is an effective effort to enhance students self-competence

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasingly rapid development of the culinary industry in Indonesia, as well as the emergence of product innovations such as Crunchy Martabite, a dry martabak variant that offers practicality, crunchy texture and a longer shelf life than traditional martabak. The aim of this research is to analyze the Crunchy Martabite product development strategy using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach, so that it can help MSMEs in designing and improving their business models amidst intense culinary market competition. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. This approach involves direct participation of students and stakeholders in data collection and evaluation of business strategies. The research results show that nine BMC elements ranging from customer segments to cost structure play an important role in identifying business strengths and weaknesses, so that they can help optimize product development and marketing strategies. These findings support the use of BMC as an effective tool in developing innovation and competitiveness of culinary MSMEs.

Abstract

Event Organizers (EO) have an important role  in  the  creative  industry,  especially  in improving the quality of human resources (HR) through various activities involving event planning, management and execution. This research aims to analyze the influence of the role of Event Organizer on improving human resources in the city of Surakarta. The research method used is a quantitative approach by collecting data through surveys of workers involved in the event industry as well as interviews with event organizers. The research results show that involvement in the events industry contributes to improving workers' communication, managerial and problem-solving skills. Apart from that, Event Organizers also play a role in opening up job opportunities and building wider professional networks. With training and direct experience in organizing events, the quality of human resources in the city of Surakarta has increased significantly. This research concludes that the role of the Event Organizer is very influential in developing individual competence and workforce competitiveness in the creative industry sector.

Abstract

The culinary business in Indonesia is growing rapidly, offering significant potential in the food retail sector. To achieve sales targets and remain competitive, businesses must implement effective marketing strategies, particularly the 4P approach (Product, Price, Promotion, Place). This research analyzes the impact of the 4P strategy on Martabak Crispy sales using a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through direct observation at the business location over one month. The findings show that maintaining consistent taste quality, setting affordable prices, choosing strategic sales locations, and executing continuous promotions play a crucial role in increasing sales volume. Additionally, digital marketing through social media has helped expand brand awareness and attract more customers. The implementation of this strategy has proven effective, as reflected in a monthly profit of IDR 1,000,000. This study highlights the importance of adapting marketing strategies to consumer behavior and market dynamics to sustain business growth and competitiveness in the evolving culinary industry.
