The sampling technique is employed purposive sampling to decide 225 respondents. The data has been examined for validity and reliability. The data analysis method used quantitative and descriptive.  A Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach is used for data analysis using Smart PLS.Research findings: Our study found a positive relationship between perceived creativity and positive emotion, as well as affective commitment. On the other hand, the study also revealed that perceived creativity does not have a positive correlation with users’ interaction intention. Similarly, positive emotion did not show a positive relationship with affective commitment. However, the study also demonstrated a positive correlation between positive emotions and affective commitment with people’s intention to interact.Theoretical Contribution/Originality:  this study gives meaningful contribution to Stimulus-Organism-Response theory by incorporating creativity to assess Instagram social media platform.Practitioners/Policy Implications:  These findings can assist business owners and social media marketers in developing creative marketing campaigns and building strong bond with their followers.Research Limitations/Implications: the limitation of this study is only assessing Instagram on fashion industry. Abstract

The porang tuber contains glucomannan compounds that can expand into a gel so that it has the potential to be used as the main ingredient of capsule shells. This research aims to optimize the pH and viscosity values that can affect the consistency of the capsule shell produced. The method used in the manufacture of capsule shells is the dipping pen method, while the optimization method carried out is trial and error by making 3 formulas by combining glycerin and PEG 400. The results obtained by the gel mass formed by the glycerin-PEG 400 gelling agent have a viscosity value of 586.67 dPas and a pH value of 6.02 can provide a gel mass that is easy to mold capsule shells and obtain capsule shells with elastic characters.  The results indicate optimal viscosity and pH values to obtain a gel mass that is easy to mold capsule shells with good organoleptic characteristics. Keywords:  Glucomannan, pH, viscosity, capsule shell.

Abstract

Research aims: This study aims to determine the effect of perceived creativity, positive emotion, affective commitment on people intention to interact.Design/Methodology/Approach: The study procedures were carried out using a quantitative approach and data were collected with online questionnaires from July to December in 2023. The participants were selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria, such as experience in purchasing products online. A total of 225 participants were selected and analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach with SmartPLS.Research findings: The results showed that perceived creativity had a significant relationship on positive emotion and affective commitment. Positive emotion was shown to have a significant effect on interaction intention. However, perceived creativity had no significant impact on interaction intention of apparel brand. This indicated that creative content was inadequate in attracting Instagram users to interact with brand’s account. The results also showed that positive emotion lacked a significant correlation with affective commitment, while affective commitment had a significant relationship with interaction intention.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study provides meaningful contribution to Stimulus-Organism-Response theory by incorporating creativity to assess Instagram social media platform.Practitioners/Policy Implications: These results can assist business owners and social media marketers in developing creative marketing campaigns and building strong bond with their followers.Research Limitations/Implications: One of the limitations of this study is that it only assessed the use of Instagram in the fashion industry. Therefore, future studies are advised to explore different industries and recruit participants with a specific occupation to obtain better understanding of online consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types and levels of technology innovation adopted by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and cooperatives in Surakarta City, as well as to analyze its impact on their business development. A qualitative approach was applied using surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD). The findings indicate that most SMEs have implemented input-level innovations through human resource (HR) training and alternative raw material utilization, but have yet to advance significantly in product development or production process innovation. Business process innovations, especially in digital marketing, have been more widely adopted and directly contributed to increased sales. Key driving factors for innovation include government-provided training programs and revenue growth post-innovation. Meanwhile, obstacles faced by SMEs include limited R&D and training budgets, and inadequate technological auditing capabilities. This study recommends optimizing the roles of local governments and universities in innovation facilitation and providing incentives to support innovation sustainability in the SME sector.

Abstract

This research explores the complex dynamics of sexual harassment in the hospitality industry, specifically in five provinces in Indonesia known for their high concentration of hotels. It also examines a selection of star-rated hotels that have implemented training programs to address sexual harassment. This study delves into the relationship between employee training, awareness, and sexual harassment prevention. It adopts a quantitative approach with the participation of 140 HR managers from star-rated hotels. The results highlight a strong connection between staff training and increased sexual harassment mitigation, underscoring the importance of thorough training programs. Employee awareness plays a vital role in influencing the effectiveness of preventative measures. Practical implications involve industry-wide efforts to promote a safety culture and enforce zero-tolerance policies via specialized training and public awareness campaigns. Although the study is focused on specific regions and establishments, it lays the groundwork for further exploration into sexual harassment in various hospitality settings, training techniques, cross-cultural factors, and changing regulations. Future research needs to delve deeper into the complexities of sexual harassment within the broad industry.
