Abstract

Humans are an important role for the development of industrial companies so companies must pay attention to the working conditions of their workers. Working conditions that require workers to stand continuously result in non-ergonomic work postures. In the work process of manual soldering activities at PT. XY is still done manually by standing for too long, this can lead to MSDs (musculoskeletal disorders) among workers. MSDs complaints can be reduced in various ways, one of which is by designing work facilities. Before designing work facilities, it is necessary to measure the complaints felt by manual soldering workers. Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) is a process that develops the ergonomics section and is obtained quickly for measuring worker posture. From the results of the study by distributing the NBM questionnaire, it was found that complaints on the neck, back, shoulders, waist, thighs, knees, calves, ankles and feet. The results of the REBA score on the work posture of manual soldering activities are 4 and 5 in the medium category and need corrective action. The solution to reduce this risk requires work facilities, namely by designing work facilities, namely work chairs. The design of this work chair is adjusted to the anthropometry of the workers. Anthropometric data used are Hip Width (LP) which is taken for the width of the seat base, Sitting Elbow Height (TSD) which is taken for the height of the seat, Back Height (TP) is taken for the height of the seat back and Popliteal Butt Length (PPP). taken for the length of the chair.

Abstract

Ergonomics is a systematic branch of science to utilize information about human nature, human capabilities and limitations to design effective, safe and comfortable work systems. Ergonomics includes many things related to employee work, one of which is office ergonomics which includes the entire work environment and work tools related to computers, chairs and others. High demands for office employees at PT. XZ requires employees to work for quite a long time where based on existing surveys, it is found that office workers spend more than 75% of their working time sitting in front of the computer. Jobs like this are related to several ergonomic risks felt by employees, so it is necessary to measure the level of ergonomics risk in office employees at PT. XZ. Rapid Office Strain Assessment (ROSA) is a rapid analysis to measure work risks associated with the use of computers where this method of assessment is designed to measure the risk of worker injury and determine the level of change action based on reports of worker discomfort. From the results of the study it was found that complaints on the employee's body using the CMDQ questionnaire showed that 5 employees felt the most complaints in the lower back by 28.5%, the neck 21%, the upper back 18% and finally the hips / buttocks by 12 ,8%. From the analysis of work posture using the ROSA method, the final score of the five employees is the same, namely 5, which means that it is included in the warning level classification so that it is necessary to improve work posture according to the setting procedure for computer work stations, namely by paying attention to chair height, elbow position, monitor surface distance, monitor height, computer surface position, back and forth backrest, telephone distance, wrist angle, and mouse position.

Abstract

There are still many work processes that are done manually which require someone to have more abilities in bones and muscles. However, a person's ability is also limited, so that when doing manual work, muscle complaints often occur, namely Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Activities carried out at PT VWX are still manual, especially in the drum reception and spare part material storage, so there are many complaints in this activity. This study aims to determine the subjective complaints of MSDs, the level of ergonomics risk and the relationship between work posture, age, body mass index, exercise habits and smoking habits on MSDs complaints. The instruments used are NBM questionnaire, work posture pictures and worker characteristics questionnaire. The NBM questionnaire showed that subjective complaints were mostly felt on the back with a score of 35 (87.5%). The method used is the REBA method with the calculation results having a high level of risk, namely in the drum reception section an average score of 9 and in the spare part material storage section an average score of 8.3. Based on the results of research tests related to MSDs complaints are work posture, age and body mass index, with a significance value of <0.05, while those that are not related to MSDs complaints are exercise habits and smoking habits, with a significance value of > 0.05.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries facing financial developments. Our nation is currently competing with other ASEAN countries to improve the economy in the modern region. The presence of the missing small and medium enterprises has made a tremendous contribution to the increase in the salaries of the Indonesian population. With abundant agricultural products, Indonesians have begun to take the initiative to increase the processed dishes from agricultural products.Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is one strategy to assess framework opportunities. FMEA can assess and dissect sections within the framework to limit the harm or impact of disillusionment levels as a supporting technique for assessing the framework's exhibits. The role of the FMEA method itself can be used to determine the risk of accidents in the production failure risk system, supply chain system risk components and so on. The prioritized risk assessment carried out at this stage is critical risk which has a high level of risk and a high RPN (risk priority number) score. . In future research, it is hoped that they will be able to implement and monitor and review the mitigation programs recommended in this study to be able to see the relevant mitigation proposals that can be applied by the company.

Abstract

Human lifes inseparable from primary needs, namely clothing, food and boards. Clothing is a basic human need for clothing used to protect the human body. Current development making clothes can not only protect the human body but also develop into fashion with various models which of course require tailoring services to sew clothes according to customer needs. The process of the customer getting the desired tailor service when this is still using word of mouth or ordering services atau sew on one tailor who has subscribed. Batam city has many services home tailors and customers who still use these methods and less efficient for a tailor and a prospect. This study aims to build a sewing service application which supports the provision of home sewing services and customers. Development this application uses the waterfall model and testing The application uses the black box testing method. Programming language that used is PHP and Javascript using the react native framework as framework and MySQL as database. This application is expected to make it easier for a customer and tailor to be able to connect with each other using the application.

Abstract

Online registration for new students is a process that exists in educational institutions such as schools that carry out automatic selection. Technological developments from time to time are increasingly sophisticated, various problems can be done with the presence of today's technology. technology and information become solutions to complete work or facilitate work effectively and efficiently. The school registration information system that was built can help the Clarissa Batam school in data processing and submitting registration information and simplify the process of working on Clarissa school staff. In this study, the data collection process was carried out using the methods of observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system design method used is Extreme programming where the stages are planning, designing, coding, testing the system. The website design uses the Codelgniter 4 framework, Bootstrap 4, and MySQL in order to shorten the processing time with satisfactory results. With the development of this information system, it is hoped that it can be a solution to the problems faced at the Clarissa School of Batam City in conveying registration information and data processing and other features.

Abstract

The electric main pump of a multi-storey building is the one of security and safety means to reduce the potential risk of fire disaster. In carrying out its function as a pressurized water distributor, main electric extinguiser pump sometimes suffers damage which results in the pump not being able to operate optimally or even not functioning at all, but technicians who experts, especially in the field of electric fire main pumps, are very limited in number. The expert also cannot always be in the building for 24 hours. The development of an expert system to detect damage main pump of building s deemed necessary to be presented, helping make it easier for high-rise building technicians to detect damage that occurs to electric extinguisher main pump of multi-storey building is a system using forward chaining method which functions in finding damage caused by symptoms that arise when the electric extinguisher pump is operated. This method uses the information to assign execution rules or the information to memory then processed to find the result. So that the technicians can detect damage the occurs to the pump so they can find out and deal with damage to the main electric extinguisher pump before it is handled further by experts. Seeing the results of the test carried out shows that the expert system designed is able to work properly and well to use. It is known that the problem of damage to the main pump of the electric fire extinguisher in buildings can be helped with this expert system.
