Abstract

Good arrangement of goods in the warehouse is one of the important things in supporting the activities of a company. At PT Lautan Lestari Shipyard, the placement of goods in its warehouse is still relatively irregular and looks messy, this is because the placement is not based on the frequency of the number of goods coming out. This study aims to apply data mining in the preparation of the layout of goods by utilizing the archive of goods expenditure data available at the company by using the algorithm method k-means clustering. From this research, 5 data clusters were found to be the most optimal with a Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) value of 0.288. This research is expected to help make it easier for companies to arrange the goods in the warehouse.

Abstract

There were many troubles which have found that it is difficult for HRD to predict employee performance because the HRD section can see data recap from the aspect of employee absenteeism or delay. The use of a structured application approach regarding data mining will be applied to determine which employees are entitled to receive prizes, as a result it will not be difficult for the company. C4.5 is used to determine which employees are entitled to receive rewards according to their own background, interests and abilities. The variables are checking work performance, employee discipline, targets that have been achieved, teamwork and ability to work. test and assessment results show that Decision Tree C4.5 is accurate to determine which employees are entitled to get rewards from the company

Abstract

Hotspot network technology is currently very developed so that it allows the process of managing users on wireless network services. The system manager can manage bandwidth, usage, online duration, concurrent, remaining quota and several other features. AAA (administration, Accounting, Authentication) technology works in a timely manner, after testing this technology, it was found that there were obstacles when managing on a much larger scale. The author uses Radiusdek to solve this problem and is used as a radius server to manage users. The function of user management is to classify users and groups according to their hierarchy. Hotspot network at PT. Batam Bintan Telecommunications is currently still not developed and currently the hotspot network has only been applied to internal offices, because PT Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi is currently still focused on corporate customers and residential customers. It is a pity if it is not developed, especially since PT Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi is located in Batamindo Industrial park, which can make the dormitory area and the area around Batamindo a target for large-scale internet sales. Therefore, the author designed this system to build a hotspot network that can be used by dormitory users and visitors who aim to find work while in Batamindo Industrial park. In this system, users can independently register and select the desired service package without having to contact the admin first

Abstract

Recruitment is the first step taken by PT. Dwi Sumber Arca Waja (PT DSAW) to recruit prospective professional workers. Professionalism is needed as one of the inputs to produce the appropriate output. PT DSAW is a Large Steel manufacturing company that acts as a supplier that provides goods to support the oil and gas sector. The Head Office is located on Jl. Hang Kesturi I No.8, Kawasan Industrial Estate, Batam. Over time, PT. DSAW needs to find a way to be faster and more efficient in determining prospective employees so that they can quickly find suitable and appropriate employees. This study aims to apply the KNearest Neighbor (K-NN) classification method to the recruitment selection system at PT DSAW. The K-NN method will calculate the level of similarity by measuring the distance between the needs set by PT. DSAW with data held by prospective employees. Furthermore, the K-value is taken from applicants who have a similarity value of 80%. Applicants who have the same score of 80% will be included in the next test.

Abstract

The design of Nox rust oil work tools aims to reduce lubrication time, minimize work time, increase production and reduce operator fatigue. In this study, we will use the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method to design the tool by creating a House of Quality (HOQ). In the survey method, the investigator asked three questions about the problem that occurred and asked 11 questions (customer needs) to observe. This study uses the motion time measurement (MTM) method as a time measurement for the original and final design. As a result, (1) the design of the tapping tool is designed to improve productivity (2) the result of the tapping tool is designed to reduce fatigue (3) work time It is the result of the design of a tapping tool that is kept to a minimum.

In all industrial activities, the role of humans as a source of labor remains dominant. Unlike cars that can be repaired and replaced. Whoever is an employee still has limitations. In manual labor, people are at a greater risk of contracting MSD, which can lead to unsafe working conditions. Practice lifting a drink box in your CV. The AUDIO NEW LIGHT can be dangerous when lifting drawers due to manual and unsanitary working positions. The study has an average REBA occupational risk score of 8 in the high category for neck, back, waist, larynx, thigh, left arm, left and right wrist, right, indicating that immediate action is required. Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in ship construction and ship repair. In the field of ship construction this company uses Koch drilling machines in the production process of furniture and other supporting goods on board. Continuous use of the engine cannot be avoided from damage or decreased engine performance. Damage to the machine can reduce the effectiveness in the use of machinery in activities for the production process. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a management principle to increase the productivity and production efficiency of companies by using machines effectively. The object of the study is PT XYZ The purpose of this study was to find out the overall equipment effectivity (OEE) value of drilling machines, as well as to find out the causes and proposed improvements to koch drilling machines. Conclusions that can be taken based on the results of OEE calculations on drilling machines during the period May - October 2022 obtained overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) values ranging between 59.6% to 87.7%. This condition indicates that the ability of the machine in achieving the target and in achieving the effectiveness of the use of machinery or equipment does not achieve the ideal conditions <90%.

Abstract

LPG is a liquidated natural fuel, often used in the industrial sector and also a necessity that facilitates the household environment sector, in the household itself we can not be separated from the use of LPG gas fuel (liquefied petroleum gas) inseparable from it also the use of LPG in the household sector and even the industry is very much, and that becomes a negative impact that arises as examples often we find in the media the existence of fires due to gas leaks, even we are not aware of a gas leak when we install gas on the switch so it is very dangerous when there is a fire trigger, Therefore, researchers designed an LPG gas leak detection tool via SMS Gateway using an Arduino uno based MQ2 sensor. This researcher designed a tool that serves to detect gas leaks and when there is a gas leak the tool will send a message to Whatsapp with the aim when the user is not in the area around the house or away from the use of gas then the tool will provide notification in the from of Whatsapp messages. Abstract

Sales can be said to be the center of the business in the field of marketing, in order to get more profit to continue the business. A good company certainly has long-term goals so that it can experience positive developments in the future. With the rapid development of businesses around the world, not a few businesses are built to get more profits with various forms of sales activities. One of the efforts to maintain business stability is to generate sales predictions. The problem faced by the business world today is that there is often an imbalance between supply and demand for goods. The number of buyers and the variety of tastes in the products they have make it difficult for PT Bhakti Bumi Barelang to predict the best-selling items so that they can predict when these items will run out. To overcome this, a vegetable sales prediction system with the highest consumer demand is needed. This prediction will be very helpful for helping vegetable stock supplies such as PT Bhakti Bumi Barelang which plans vegetable stock supplies and informs companies about the products that are most purchased by consumers.
