Abstract

New opportunities to automate everyday devices such as pet feeding have emerged as a result of the use of the Internet of Things (IoT). The focus of this research is the development of an Internet of Things-based Cat Feeder that utilizes the Blynk platform, Kodular, and sensors. Blynk enables remote cat feeding settings through an application that has an easy-to-use interface. Kodular is used as a visual application development platform in this research, allowing application creators who do not have a deep programming background to easily create user interfaces. Sensors integrated in the system collect data on the cat's behavior and diet. This allows owners to better monitor and manage their cat's diet. During the development process, Blynk was used to incorporate remote control, Kodular was used to create the user interface, and sensors were used as data input. The results show that this solution makes feeding cats easier and gives owners better control over the amount of food their pets consume. The no-code/low-code approach used in the development of the app is an advantage of this research as it allows the app to be more accessible to a wide range of users. By using sensors, cat health can be better monitored and owners can better manage their cat's food needs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze consumer purchasing pattern based on historical data using association methods at PT Excellindo Perkasa, a company in the industrial sector. The primary focus is to enhance understanding of consumer preferences and purchasing habits for improving marketing efficiency and sales strategis. Association methods such as Apriori or FP Growth will be applied to historical consumer transaction data to identify relationship among products or services. The research steps include data collection, preprocessing to clean invalid data, application of association algorithms, and analysis of results to reveal purchasing patterns. The anticipated outcomes aim to provide valuable insights to PT Excellindo Perkasa, strengthening strategic decision-making, optimizing product inventory, and enhancing consumer satisfaction. Additionally, the study serves as a foundation for further research in consumer data analysis and marketing, supporting the development of better business strategies..

Abstract

Tourism is one of the destinations for tourists to visit a city. Usually, to visit a tourist spot, individuals check the ratings of the place through Google reviews. In addition to ratings, some people also read reviews to assess the quality of the tourist spot. However, if the reviews given do not match the rating, there is a need for sentiment analysis to identify positive and negative reviews. This study takes a case study from Batam city, namely Mega Wisata Coastarina Batam. The method used in this research is Naive Bayes. Naive Bayes is chosen for its popularity in classification methods with good accuracy. Based on the research results, there are more positive sentiments than negative sentiments, namely 200 positive sentiments and 141 negative sentiments. The testing results of the research show the performance of sentiment analysis using the Naive Bayes method, with an F1-score accuracy of 69.49% and a margin of error of +-7.67%. The precision is 71.00% in positive predictions and 67.39% in negative predictions. The recall value is 75.53% for positive predictions and 62.09% for negative predictions. The F1-score results are 86.06% for positive predictions and 64.63% for negative predictions.

Abstract

The Public Housing, Settlements and Parks Service (Disperkim) is an agency within the Batam City Public Housing, Settlements and Parks Service. As a document recorder of incoming and outgoing letters, Disperkim is expected to be able to provide administrative services related to conveying information, recording payment data to occupant data and low-cost housing data itself. Currently Disperkim still uses manual methods to manage data, namely with Microsoft Excel. This has an impact on the process of incoming and outgoing mail. Reporting data to leaders who still use manuals is often a problem in correspondence. So we need a system that can help admins in recording letters. This system was built using the PHP programming language and uses the waterfall method and MySql as the database. The aim of this research is to assist management in managing data in the Batam City Public Housing, Settlement and Parks Department and provide easy access to web-based incoming and outgoing letters. The advantage of this system is that it can be accessed anywhere as long as it is connected to the internet, and the existence of a database makes this system better in terms of cost compared to the system implemented previously.

Abstract

Nowadays people have trouble farming, because of the limited of spots, so Hyrdoponic was invented, hydroponic is an agriculture technique that replaces dirt as a planting medium with a water-based nutrient solution. In the hydroponic process, every farmer needs to monitor some parameters like TDS Rate, Temperature, and pH in most cases people like to use the old method of monitoring, some problem that we got from the old method is, farmers need to bring measuring tools for every parameter, we will create a monitoring system based on Arduino that farmer can access from distances with using platform name Blynk by internet, for research we using the waterfall method. The result of the research is a monitoring system with Arduino that can connect to a smartphone with the Blynk app on the Internet. We design the UI as simple as possible for farmers that not good at technology can use it easily, the goal of this research is make a product that can monitor hydroponic water tank, the hope we can make monitoring process being fast and easy .

Abstract

The development of the business world today has experienced very rapid progress. Anyone can start a business to improve their lives economically and socially. Business is all activities that are generally planned and carried out by individuals or groups with the aim of producing, promoting, and selling goods and services, whether for profit or not. Futsal is a sport that is currently popular in various big cities. Futsal is an indoor or outdoor football sport played by two teams of five players each. The growth and interest in futsal has opened up business opportunities for small and medium enterprises engaged in services. Futsal businesses can offer various types of businesses apart from futsal rentals. Seeing that, the potential of the futsal business market becomes very promising, so the growth of futsal facilities in various cities shows high demand where people want to play and practice futsal regularly. So that the need for this futsal field has been evenly distributed throughout Indonesia, one of the locations where there are several futsal courts is in Batam City, namely Planet Futsal. There are many challenges faced by Planet futsal SMEs in managing this business, so a business feasibility study is needed so that this business can survive and increasingly show the potential success of a futsal field rental business. This feasibility analysis is carried out to ascertain whether or not a business activity is feasible based on financial and non-financial. aspects A business feasibility study is carried out to ensure the feasibility of a business activity based on several aspects. In general, the aspects analyzed are market and marketing feasibility, legal feasibility, management and human resource feasibility, and technical and technological feasibility. Based on the results and discussion, conclusions were obtained in this study, namely on market and marketing aspects in market potential, market share, products, prices, promotions, places are available / feasible. In the aspects of management and human resources, it has been structured in the organization and also the schedule of working hours that have been set. In the legal aspect, this business is feasible to run because it has complete supporting documents as a condition for running a business. In technical and technological aspects, this business is already located in the desired target market, access to the field is also easy to find, and the layout is in accordance with the flow.

growth and evolution of the world of technology is increasing rapidly, especially in computer and smartphone technology which is no longer for digging up information but has utilized technology to enter the business world in the form of applications such as virtual enchancement. AR is a merges of the future physical then digital worlds by using 3D objects that can be designed with supporting software are useful for designing house as three-dimensional object that are used by property businesses in house sales to make it easier for eachother to interact where seller still sell manually by distributing several brochures and buyers lack the time to visit the location on person. the reason of this ponder is to plan home sales apps that is useful for a lot facilitating interactions between home sellers and buyers. In this research, several house designs were made using sketchup and then using unity to connect to the display and included in unity to create an application in the form of function buttons to make it easier to use and combine 3D objects with markers. Based on the designed test, the application can function and display 3D objects correctly.

Abstract

The increasing use of technology in the industrial world has another significant impact on the occupational health and safety of workers. A work environment that is too noisy can lead to counter-productive, unhealthy, and upsetting situations. Based on the measurement results in the extruder machine area obtained with an average value of 96.62 dBA, this value exceeds the standardized Threshold Value (NAV) of 85 dBA for 8 hours of work. From the results of interviews conducted with several workers, many workers complain of hearing loss such as ringing in the ears, decreased hearing resulting in lack of concentration of the interlocutor. This study aims to analyze the effect of noise on hearing loss of PT Volex Indonesia workers. The population used in this study is all operators who work in the extruder machine area during the PVC manufacturing process. The data analysis method in this study uses quantitative methods that are processed using computer technology, namely the SPSS 21 program. The result of the regression coefficient of 19.651 means that for every noise value plus 1, hearing loss will increase by 19.651. So this regression coefficient has a significant effect so that noise affects hearing disturbance and from the results of the sig (2-tailed) correlation test 0.009 < 0.05, there is a strong correlation with the pearson correlation value of 0.771. It was concluded that there is an influence of noise on hearing loss.

Abstract

In the midst of the current manufacturing industry competition, companies are required to maintain the quality of their produced products. PT ABC is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the production of electronic and medical products. In this study, issues were identified in the molding department, which had a high number of black dot defects in Housing Bottom products. The objective of this research is to determine the factors causing the decline in the quality of Housing Bottom products and to identify improvement efforts for the black dot defects. This study uses a fishbone diagram to analyze the factors causing black dot defects and the DMAIC method to determine improvement efforts for the causes of black dot defects. The research findings using the fishbone diagram identified that the cause of black dot defects is a machine factor related to nozzle temperature. Therefore, the improvement efforts conducted using Design of Experiment involve setting the nozzle temperature at 290°C and the metering section temperature at 290°C, resulting in low black dot defects.

Abstract

Aplikasi Kios Air merupakan sebuah solusi inovatif yang dirancang untuk mempermudah proses manajemen dan penjualan air bersih. Aplikasi ini dibangun dengan menggunakan metode Firebase Cloud Computing, sebuah teknologi komputasi awan yang memungkinkan pengelolaan data secara efisien dan aman. Aplikasi Kios Air memanfaatkan layanan Firebase seperti Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase Authentication, dan Firebase Cloud Functions untuk menciptakan sistem yang handal dan responsif. Dalam aplikasi ini, pengguna dapat melakukan berbagai aktivitas seperti pencatatan meteran dan pembayaran yang sebelumnya menggunakan cara konvensional. Pengelola tidak perlu khawatir tentang catatan yang hilang untuk mencatat meteran setiap pelanggan. Metode Firebase Cloud Computing memungkinkan aplikasi Kios Air untuk mengelola data pelanggan, stok produk, dan transaksi secara real-time. Keuntungan utama dari penggunaan Firebase adalah kemampuannya untuk mengelola pertukaran data yang cepat dan akurat antara aplikasi dan server. Selain itu, pengguna juga dapat mengakses aplikasi melalui berbagai perangkat, termasuk smartphone, tablet, dan komputer, karena data disimpan secara cloud dan dapat diakses melalui koneksi internet. Hasil uji coba aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa pengguna merasa puas dengan kecepatan respon sistem dan kemudahan penggunaan. Pengguna juga mengapresiasi keandalan sistem dalam melacak pesanan, memproses pembayaran, dan mempermudah manajemen operasional pengelolaan kios air. Dengan adanya aplikasi Kios Air berbasis Firebase Cloud Computing, proses manajemen kios air menjadi lebih efisien, transparan, dan dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh pelanggan. Aplikasi ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan kepuasan pelanggan dalam bisnis kios air bersih.
