Abstract

Suppliers play an important role in providing quality products and in ensuring the availability of goods needed by the company. Supplier selection is a critical activity because the supplier will supply the company's raw materials in the long term so that it has a significant impact on the company's productivity. CV. Agus Motor is a motorcycle repair shop. The problems that often occur in CV. Agus Motor repair shops are delivery time, inconsistent quality, spare part prices, and warranties. This study aims to determine the right supplier of manual or automatic motorcycle chains at CV. Agus Motor. The methods used in this study are Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Topsis. From this study, the results obtained The most optimal supplier based on the calculation of the AHP method which is the first priority is the Cahaya Motor Batam supplier with a weight value of 0.603 and a percentage of 60.30%, the Surya Mega Teknik supplier is the second priority with a weight value of 0.232 and a percentage of 23.2%, and the Sarana Motor supplier is the third priority with a weight value of 0.164 and a percentage of 16.4%. And with the TOPSIS method, the first priority is Supplier Cahaya Motor Batam is a superior alternative with a value of 1,000, Supplier Surya Mega Teknik is the second priority with a value of 0.092, and Supplier Sarana Motor as the third priority with a value of 0.089. Therefore, the first alternative is selected, namely Cahaya Motor Batam to become a supplier for CV. Agus Motor.

Abstract

In artificial intelligence world, expert systems are a form of AI (Artificial Intelligence) designed to solve problems aiming the thinking process of an expert. Website-based expert system can detect various acoustic guitars damage. This expert system uses the backward chaining method, where the process starts from the damage, then asks several questions related to the symptoms of damage that occur on the acoustic guitar, then matches them. answers with existing hypotheses, such as a problem with the sound or some component that is not working. With the existing information, the system will perform an analysis and provide diagnosis results and repair recommendations according to the damage to the acoustic guitar. One of the advantages of this expert system is that it is website-based, because it is accessible anytime. It allows beginners, professionals and technicians to detect and repair damage to their acoustic guitar.

Abstract

CV Mega Cakra Motor currently uses a manual motorbike credit recording system which has several obstacles such as recording efficiency, data security and effectiveness in the credit management process. This research aims to design and build a web-based information system that can increase efficiency, accuracy and security in motorbike credit management. The method used in this research is Waterfall, which consists of analysis, design, implementation and system testing stages. The results of this research show that a web-based information system can reduce recording errors, improve document monitoring, and provide easy access to motorbike credit data. With the system that has been designed, CV Mega Cakra Motor can optimize its operations and improve service to customers.

Abstract

Indonesia has two seasons, namely the dry season and the rainy season. During the dry season, the need for sunlight is very much needed, one example is drying wet clothes. However, when the weather is uncertain, the job of drying clothes becomes quite troublesome and will take time and energy to lift and dry the clothes again. In this study, researchers will design a prototype that can protect clotheslines when it rains and provide notifications to the user's WhatsApp that this prototype detects rain and immediately protects the clotheslines from the rain. This prototype is designed using Arduino Uno as the main controller on this prototype and can be connected to the internet network, a rain sensor as a rain detector, and a micro servo as a roof driver above the clothesline. The results of conducting trials on the prototype are that this prototype can protect clotheslines from rain and also successfully send notifications in the form of WhatsApp messages that rain has been detected.

Abstract

CV Altruist Batam is an agency engaged in the manufacture of wooden pallets that are in high demand from customers with various size variations such as wooden pallet products with a size of 120 cm x 80 cm. CV Altruist Batam should use aggregate forecasting and planning to plan the amount of production that will occur in the future according to production capacity so that this study aims to identify the best forecasting techniques and the best overall strategy that can be used in forecasting and production planning for wooden pallet products measuring 120 cm x 80 cm using the Single Moving Average and Single Exponential Smoothing methods. While for aggregate planning, the strategies used include Chase Strategy, Level Strategy and Mixed Strategy, then the most efficient strategy is selected to minimize production costs. The results of the study showed that the best forecasting method is the Single Moving Average method with the values obtained MAD = 94.36, MSE = 4.971% and for the aggregate strategy chosen is Level Strategy and Chase with the smallest production cost of Rp 3,092,670,000.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksi transistor di PT Sammyung Precision Batam melalui penerapan pendekatan Six Sigma dengan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Fokus utama penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab cacat, terutama pada jenis defect peel off dan bubble header, dan mengembangkan solusi untuk mengurangi tingkat cacat serta variasi proses produksi. Analisis menggunakan alat statistik seperti P-Chart, Pareto, fishbone diagram, dan perhitungan tingkat sigma menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi belum stabil dan memiliki potensi peningkatan kualitas secara signifikan. Penerapan pencatatan suhu dan penyesuaian parameter furnace, termasuk pengaturan kecepatan proses, terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan persentase cacat menjadi rata-rata 0,5%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan langkah-langkah perbaikan berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan konsistensi kualitas produk dan efisiensi proses produksi transistor di industri manufaktur elektronik.

Abstract

The swift advancement of information technology has changed how businesses conduct their operations, particularly in the sales process. This research centers on designing and implementing a web-based sales application utilizing QR Code at PT. Megah Jaya Sakti, a company operating in the building materials industry. Although the company still employs conventional sales methods, there is an urgent need to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of transaction recording. QR Code, as a technology capable of storing information quickly and practically, is expected to facilitate product identification and transaction verification. Designing and developing a sales application that streamlines transaction management, utilizing QR Code technology for transaction identification and verification, and accelerating the application development process through the use of the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method are the goals of this study. The RAD method is chosen for its focus on speed and flexibility, allowing for the early testing of QR Code features during development. The results of this research are expected to provide an efficient and accurate solution for transaction management at PT. Megah Jaya Sakti, as well enchance customer satisfaction through a faster and more modern transaction process.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that creates systems capable of performing tasks that require human intelligence. This development of an Android-based expert system is aimed at diagnosing mental health issues, specifically depression, in individuals aged 15 to 25. The system integrates Naïve Bayes and forward chaining methods to analyze symptom data and health history, classifying the severity of depression into mild, moderate, and severe categories. The development process includes data analysis, information gathering through interviews and literature studies, as well as creating a user-friendly application prototype. Testing results indicate that the system provides accurate and rapid diagnoses, helping users understand their mental health conditions, enhancing accessibility to diagnosis, reducing stigma, and supporting the prevention and management of depression more effectively.

Abstract

Advancements in digital technology have transformed conventional attendance systems into more secure and automated solutions. However, manual and online-based systems remain vulnerable to fraud, such as proxy attendance and false records. This study designs a digital attendance system using face recognition technology based on the Convolutional Neural Network method. The process begins by capturing facial images via camera, followed by preprocessing steps including grayscale conversion, face detection using Haar Cascade, and resizing images to 100x100 pixels. The CNN model is trained with the preprocessed dataset and saved in .joblib format for real-time face identification. Attendance is automatically recorded in a CSV file. Testing was conducted based on dataset size, distance, and face position relative to the camera. Results show that accuracy improves with more training data. Using 200 images per individual yielded the best balance of accuracy, speed, and storage efficiency unlike 50 images, which often failed, or 500 images, which required long training times and large storage. Lighting quality also significantly impacts recognition accuracy, poor or uneven lighting leads to unclear facial features. Thus, proper lighting is essential. This study demonstrates that CNN effectively supports the digital transformation of attendance systems, making them more accurate, efficient, and fraud-resistant.

Abstract

This study explores the optimization of sales and inventory management for electronic products in e-commerce platforms by applying the FP-Growth algorithm within data mining techniques. Amid the rise of digital transactions, many businesses still struggle to uncover hidden patterns in consumer purchasing behavior. This research analyzes 163 transaction records collected through questionnaires, with 30 transactions selected as the primary sample. The FP-Growth method was chosen for its efficiency in identifying frequent itemsets without generating candidate sets, making it suitable for large-scale data analysis. Significant findings from this study reveal strong associations between certain products, such as the itemset “Refrigerator is frequently followed by Microwave” with a support value of 23% and a confidence of 92%, as well as “Washing Machine is often purchased together with Iron” with 43% support and 100% confidence. These results indicate that consumers tend to purchase these items together. Understanding these patterns allows businesses to design more targeted bundling and promotional strategies, while also improving stock management. This research offers practical insights for data-driven decision-making, ultimately enhancing sales performance and operational efficiency in the e-commerce sector.
