Abstract

Learning through online that does not do face-to-face certainly has various challenges. One of the challenges is the lack of student learning motivation. Efforts to create an interesting and fun learning atmosphere require several breakthroughs, both in curriculum development, learning media innovation and fulfilling educational infrastructure. This study aims to describe the application of the quizizz educational game and the provision of rewards to increase the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Tarokan 5 Kediri. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were the fifth grade students of SDN Tarokan 5, totaling 10 students consisting of 6 boys and 4 girls. The data in this study are the results of observations of teacher activities, student activities, and student learning motivation. Data collection techniques used by using observation, questionnaires, field notes and documentation. The results of the study by applying the quizizz educational game and giving rewards can run well and have increased. In the first cycle the average value of teacher activity was 98% in the very good category, increasing to 100% with the very good category in the second cycle. The value of student activity is 83.5% in the good category, in the second cycle it increases to 91.5% in the very good category. Meanwhile, the result of students' learning motivation in the pre-action was 53% with a very low category. In the first cycle, the results of the observation of students' learning motivation increased to 77% in the high category. Furthermore, in the second cycle, the results of the observation of students' learning motivation increased to 82% with a very high category. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the quizizz educational game and the giving of rewards to the fifth grade students of SDN Tarokan 5 Kediri, has been carried out by the teacher and students very well.

Abstract

The herbal as a traditional medicine, that has become local wisdom of the Indonesian people needs to be preserved and developed in maintaining the health of families and communities. The study aims to creat community empowerment programs and support the development of health clinics and herbal tourism. The study used case studies method, and data were collected through observation, interviews, discussion and documentation. The study location took place in health clinic and herbal tourism, Kalibakung Village, Balapulang District, Tegal Regency, Central Java Province. The results showed that the raw materials of herbal plants to make herbal medicine in health clinics was still depend on the Center for the Development of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicines in Tawangmangu Regency. Plant galleries in herbal tourism are still pilot project only, it have not been developed to become self-sufficient of health clinics. Community groups need to be involved as partners to supplying raw materials of health clinics and herbal tourism develop with empowerment programs. Local governments must be initiate and facilitate the implementation of empowerment for collaboration with social institutions, universities and herbalists to conduct socialization, counseling, training and assistance on herbal plant cultivation and herbal processing. Empowerment programs have important to increase motivation, understanding, and community skills in cultivating and processing herbal plants to improving socio-economic welfare and supporting the development of health clinics and herbal tourism.

Abstract

The Right to education is one of the basic fundamental rights upheld by the constitution of India to every child. Children with special needs face massive challenges in being able to access education equitably due to various reasons viz. a rigid curriculum, non-accessibility, untrained teachers, bullying, and attitudinal issues. The new NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 seems to bring across many progressive steps which when clubbed with the RPWD (Right of Persons with Disabilities) act 2016 offers hope for children with special needs. In this article, we try to examine the various provisions outlined in the new NEP 2020 in the backdrop of RPWD 2016. An understanding of which will lead to predicting the barriers and gaps one can come across in the future during implementation at the ground level. Something which remains a challenge for a country like India with the best policies yet few actions.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unfavorable impact on all aspects of life, including aspects of health, economy, tourism, social and education. Students can also use learning support applications such as study houses, teacher rooms, thinglink, netboard, oodlu, quizwhizzer and other applications. In fact, not all students will be successful in online learning. This research aims to improve speaking skills through the application of online-based interactive picture media to 5th graders at SD Negeri 2 Blitaran, Nganjuk Regency. This research is a classroom action research with the research design determined are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. There are two data obtained, namely process data and result data. Process data obtained from teacher activity data and student activities in applying online-based interactive image media. Result data obtained from student learning outcomes data in the form of students' speaking skill scores through the application of online-based interactive image media. The research subjects were 31 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Blitaran, Nganjuk Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year. The results showed that the teacher's activities continued to increase starting from the pre-action cycle II. In the pre-action, the average score of students was only 63.1 with a very poor category. After taking action in cycle 1 at meeting 1, the average score of students increased to 80%. The percentage of 80% indicates that there are still activities that have not been carried out at meeting 1. The action is continued in the second friendship, where the ability of students has reached 87%. With this percentage, improvements need to be made in cycle II. The teacher must review the steps in the lesson plans that have been prepared so that learning can run according to the plan. In Cycle II meeting 1, the percentage of success was 92.8%. The thing that must be maintained in cycle II is that the teacher carries out learning according to the steps that have been planned and provides explanations to students regarding important things that must be considered when retelling a reading. The action was continued in Cycle II meeting 2 where the student success achieved reached 95.7%. Abstract

Writing stories can start when students are in elementary school. Through story writing activities students can express their feelings, ideas, and ideas to others. Based on the results of interviews and observations conducted on January 20, 2021, the 5th grade homeroom teacher of SDN 5 Sudimoroharjosiswa felt bored in online learning during the pandemic. This can be seen from the students' writings that do not match the information. The writing of stories that do not match this information can be seen from one of the students who did not write down sports activities where there are pictures of people who are exercising. This study aims to determine the ability of students to present information in the form of stories through interactive image media based on thinglinks for grade 5 students at SDN 5 Sudimoroharjo, Nganjuk Regency. Based on the results of research on the use of interactive image media based on thinglink in Indonesian language learning, the material for retelling the sequence of events in fictional texts according to the background of the story has been carried out, it can be concluded that: (1) The implementation of learning using interactive image media based on thinglink is carried out according to the steps of learning activities which uses the project based learning model very well so as to increase the activities of teachers and students. This is evidenced by the increased activity of teachers and students in cycle I to cycle II. The average percentage of teacher activity in the first cycle is 82.85% with good criteria increasing to 10.01% to 92.86% with very good criteria in the second cycle. While the average student activity from the first cycle is 77, 86% with sufficient criteria increased to 11.43% to 89.29% with good criteria in cycle II. (2) The application of learning using interactive image media based on thinglinks can improve the ability of V SDN 5 Sudimoroharjo students, Nganjuk Regency, in retelling the sequence of events in fictional texts according to the background of the story. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes when in the skill aspect with the average value in the first cycle of 74 increasing to 89.5 in the second cycle. In addition, the percentage of student learning completeness also increased starting in the first cycle, namely 60.71% with less criteria, increasing by 39.29% to 100% with very good criteria in the second cycle. For teachers, it is recommended that if doing learning using interactive image media based on thinglinks, they should do a trial before being used by students.

Abstract

One of the important elements that must exist in a rule of law is the protection of human rights, where the inclusion of rights and human rights of citizens in the constitution brings consequences for the state to recognize, respect and respect and fulfill the rights of citizens, including in including the fulfillment of the basic rights of children. Children are a mandate and a gift from God Almighty, which is inherent within them of dignity as a whole human being. In line with the development of the times, which requires a transfer in all aspects of people's life, which can be done manually to completely digital or can be referred to as digitalization, which then with the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world community became the biggest factor in the acceleration of digitalization where children Children in the compulsory education age category use social media as a learning medium which, if not closely supervised by parents, can raise concerns about child exploitation through social media, it is necessary to discuss in this study the forms of sexual violence that can occur against children. through social media, as well as forms of legal protection for child victims of sexual violence. The research method used in this research is juridical-normative legal research, with library material that includes primary legal materials, namely the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights, and Law Number 35 of the Year. 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, then secondary legal materials which include previous legal research, legal books, scientific journals, and other legal materials, then finally tertiary legal materials covering Indonesian language , and an encyclopedia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the results of the implementation of mobile seamless learning in increasing the learning activity and learning achievement of students at SMP Negeri 1 Gemolong Sragen during the pandemic. This study uses a quasi-experimental method, using quantitative data analysis. The location of the study was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Gemolong Sragen. The population in the study were all students of SMP Negeri 1 Gemolong Sragen. The sampling technique used Random Sampling where each class contained 32 students. The technique applied in this study is to use multiple choice and oral tests. In conducting the test, the validity test uses the product moment and the rehabilitation test uses the KR 20 formula. The data is then analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of mobile seamless learning on the learning activity and learning achievement of students of SMP Negeri 1 Gemolong Sragen During the Pandemic.

Abstract

Iron deficiency anemia is the biggest health problem in the world, especially for young women. The prevalence of anemia in adolescents is 27% in developing countries and 6% in developed countries. In Indonesia, the prevalence of anemia is quite high, namely 21.7% with a proportion of 22.8% in rural areas and 20.6% in urban areas and 23.9% in women and 18.4% in men. This study aimed to determine the difference in the effectiveness of mung bean drink and red guava juice on increasing Hb level. This research applied a Quasy-Experimental research design. The research sample consisted of 90 female students who were divided into 2 groups. Before giving the intervention, a pre-test was carried out by measuring the Hb level, and then the samples were given treatment for 7 days and Post-test on the last day. The results showed that mung bean drink affected hemoglobin increase with a value of p = 0.000 and guava juice also affected hemoglobin increase with a value of p = 0.004. There was a difference in giving mung bean drink with red guava juice on the increase in Hb levels with a value of p = 0.045. It is expected that the results of this study could provide additional information regarding the difference in the effectiveness of giving mung bean drink and guava juice on increasing Hb levels and providing input for clinicians to manage anemia, especially in adolescent girls.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of physical fitness on body fat. This research was conducted in National Sports Committee of Indonesia, specifically in Karawang Regency, and selected the athletes as the respondents. The researcher implemented causal studies and path analysis testing. Fourteen (14) respondents were selected by purposive sampling. The data were collected by using Harvard step test in order to measure the physical fitness, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) data in order to measure the body fat. This study found that the path coefficient value of thephysical fitness on body fat is -0.212, while the value of t-count is -2.468. Therefore, the value of t-count is smaller than t-table, while the degree of freedom = 9 and α = 0.05 ,such as -2.26, and the probability value of Sig. (0.036) <significant level (0.05). Hence, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. In other words, physical fitness significantly has direct negative effect on body fat. In conclusion, physical fitness has a significant and direct negative effecton body fat, even when the athlete’s physical fitness is better, it does not guarantee his body fat is also good

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is becoming an international threat. In order to overcome this, the Indonesian government has implemented a social distancing policy. However, the realization of the policies that exist to date has not run uniformly in relation to social distancing and social assistance that has not been received directly by the community. Therefore it is necessary to control the implementation process of policies that have been issued by the Government. This research is a normative legal research and empirical law with a normative juridical approach. The data obtained in this research is in the form of literature study and interviews. The data that has been collected is then presented in the form of descriptions which are arranged systematically following the flow of systematic discussion.
