THE USE OF METER PROPS TO IMPROVE THE MATHEMATICS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF MULITIPLICATION SUBJECT IN MATHEMATICS LEARNING DISABILITY III GRADERSOF SDN KARTODIPURAN SURAKARTA IN THE SCHOOL YEAR OF 2012/2013. The objective of this research is to find out the us of  meter props to improve the mathematics learning achievement of multiplication subject in mathematics learning disability III graders of SDN Kartdoipuran Surakarta in thee school year of 2012/2013. This research employed with classroom action research method. The subjects of this research were 2 students with learning disability consisting of a boy and a girl. The metthods of data collection were observation technique, test and document analysis. The technique of analyzing data were descriptive comparative and critical analysis. Considering the result of research it can be concluded that the used of meter props can improve the mathematics learning achievement of multiplication subject in learning disability III graders of SDN Kartodipuran Surakarta in the school year of 2012/2013. Abstract

This research aims to: a) find out the reading skill level of the third graders of SD N 12 Sragen, b) find out the extent to which the assessment contributes to identifying the children with reading comprehension difficulty, c) find out the number of students with reading comprehension learning difficulty, d)  predict the factors causing the students have reading comprehension difficulty, and e) predict the appropriate learning follow-up to give to the children with reading comprehension difficulty. This study employed a qualitative research method. The subject of research was the third graders of SD Negeri 12 Sragen consisting of 50 students. The sampling technique used was total sampling technique, the one in which the number of samples equals to that of population. Technique of collecting data used was data triangulation (observation, interview, and document). The data analysis was carried out using interactive and flowing analyses. The result of research showed that having conducted assessment, it could be found that in fact the student ability of answering and comprehending the content of reading was still low, the assessment played an important role in identifying the children with reading comprehension disability. Thirteen out of 50 students were learning disabled. The factors causing the students had learning disability included family (7%), economic (15%), physical (7%), low IQ (15%), lazy (30%), and multiple symptoms (23%). Then, the follow-up used was to make academic remedy or Individualized Teaching Program (PPI). Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the assessment of learning difficulty was important to identify the reading comprehension skill of the third graders of regular Elementary School in Sragen Subdistrict, Sragen Regency, in the school year of 2011/2012, so that the learning program could be determined later. This research?s aim is to find out influence of the Contextual Teaching and learning approach toward elementary reading ability of chlidren with learning disability through cluster inclusion at SD Alfirdaus Surakarta in 2012/2013 academic year. The used method in this research is experimental method with experiment design called ?One group pretest ? posttes design?. It is a group of subjects which are treatment?s influence is measurement. The population in this research is the students with learning disability at SD Alfirdaus Surakarta in 2012/2013 academic year. Sample in this research is 3 students with learning disability of reading in first grade of SD Alfirdaus Surakarta with pull out in cluster inclusion. Test Technique and documentation is used in colleting data technique. An practice test is used to measure the start reading ability. This research uses statistic non ? parametrix analysis method. This method is Wilcoxon Signed rank tes with the help of SPSS 16. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media jarimatika dalam perkalian terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar  matematika anak tunalaras kelas II SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain One group pre test - post test design, yang mana sekelompok subyek dikenai perlakuan untuk jangka waktu tertentu, dan pengaruh perlakuan diukur dari perbedaan antara pengukuran awal (pretest) dan pengukuran akhir (posttest). Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 6 siswa. Try out dilakukan terhadap 6 siswa diluar sampel, dengan hasil 20 item soal valid dan semua soal yang valid adalah reliabel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik non parametrik, yaitu Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (Tes Ranking Bertanda Wilcokson) dengan bantuan SPSS 20. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif dapat diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest lebih besar 75,83 dari pada nilai rata-rata pretest 40,00. Hasil analisis non parametrik diperoleh nilai Z = -2,333 dengan asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = -0,020 pada taraf signifikansi (?) 5%, yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media jarimatika dalam perkalian berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak tunalaras kelas II SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta tahun ajaran 2012/2013.

Abstract

Purpose the research is to know the improvement the elementary reading capability of learning disability of reading in first year student SD Negeri I Bangak Boyolali after using AISMA Method in 2012/2013 academic year. This research using a classroom action research. Technique of collecting data is observation, test and document. Technique of analyzing data used comparative descriptive and critical analysis. The validity of the data is noun by triangulasi technique. The conclusion of this research is the use of AISMA method can improve capability in elementary reading for the first year student in this ability learning of reading of SD Negeri I Bangak Boyolali 2012/2013 academic years. Abstract

The aim of this research is improving mathematic ?calculate multiplication? learning acvhievements using abacus for the fourth grade of elementary students with visual impairment of SLB Negeri I Pemalang 2012/2013 academic year. The approach of the research is classroom action research conducted by planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this study were the three students of the fourth grade of elementary students with visual impairment of SLB Negeri I Pemalang 2012/2013. Data validity used in the study is content validity and the data analysis technique used was comparative descriptive analysis by comparing test scores between two cycles, the test scores of students before and after using abacus. Based on research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that mathematic learning using abacus improved the mathemathic ?calculate multiplication? learning achivements for the fourth grade of visual impaired elementary students of SLB Negeri I pemalang simester I, 2012/2013 academic year within the students? learning achivement for 57 in cycle I and 77 in cycle II. Abstract

The aim of the study is improving fourth grade visual handicaped students? reading ability simester I in SLB Negeri 1 pemalang using braille reading text. The method of the study was classroom action research and the subject of the reseach was 2 person of visual handicaped students. Data collecting method used test, documentation and observation. The data analysis was comparative descriptive by comparing the results between cycles. The result indicates that student?s initial capability in reading was 48,18. The improvement occured after 2 cycles using short braille reading text. Students? reading score on the second cycle was 78,5. The conclusion of the reseach indicated that short braille reading text improved the fifth grade of visual handicaped student?s short reading text in the 1st simester of SLB Negeri 1 Pemalang 2012/2013.
