ABSTRAK Prediabetes merupakan awal mula dari Diabetes. Prediabetes ditandai kadar gula darah puasa 100-125 mg/dl dan gula darah 2 jam setelah makan 140-199 mg/dl. Prediabetes dapat dicegah melalui perubahan gaya hidup. Upaya pencegahan prediabetes dan komplikasinya sangat diperlukan agar perilaku hidup sehat dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik prediabetes dan gambaran sikap pencegahan prediabetes dan komplikasinya di Kelurahan Bangsal Kota Kediri. Desain penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif dengan Populasi penelitian semua yang berisiko prediabetes di Kelurahan Bangsal Kota Kediri. Sampel penelitian 30 responden diambil melalui teknik kuota Sampling. Analisis data disajikan dalam tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sikap Pencegahan Prediabetes dan Komplikasinya sebagian besar adalah cukup sebanyak 18 reponden (60%) dan kurang dari separo adalah baik sebanyak 12 responden (40%). Berdasarkan hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap pencegahan prediabetes dan Komplikasinya adalah cukup sehingga perlu adanya upaya peningkatan sikap gara tercapai derajat kesehatan yang optimal.

Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (EIBF) is the first step in the success of a baby to learn to suckle first early after birth. The coverage of EIBF is still very low in 2010 (29.3%) and in 2013 it became (34.5%). This study aims to analyze the influence of Successful Breastfeeding e-book on the Practice EIBF. The research design used a quasi experiment design with pre-post-test control group design. The study was conducted on 54 pregnant women 3rd trimester with purposive sampling method (March-June 2018). Data analysis used an independent t-test and Chi square test. The results showed that there was an effect of e-book on knowledge of pregnant women (p value 0.00). Counseling with Successful Breastfeeding e-books affects the Practice of EIBF (p value 0.017). A commitment is needed from health workers, especially those related to pregnant women and giving birth to provide counseling related to the importance of EIBF.

Maternal problems during the postpartum are physiological and psychological changes. The postpartum period is a critical moment to adapt stress after childbirth. Adaptations include adjusting to the partner and building positive interactions with the baby. One of the problems that occurred during the postpartum period is fail in giving exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of Community Based Breastfeeding Counseling for successfull exclusive breastfeeding.The research design used pre experimental design with one group pre-post test design approach. The respondents are Pospartum Primipara. Data collection with questionnaire sheets for the success of Exclusive Breastfeeding. Data analysis using Chi-Square with significance level α = 0.05 obtained result x2 = 0,000 and coefficient contingency = 0.707 means there is a difference between Practice of exclusive breastfeeding before and after done Community Based Breastfeeding Counseling means there is influence of Community Based Breastfeeding Counseling for Successful Exclusive breastfeeding

Cancer affects the neurophysiological changes in skeletal muscle progressively and leading to cancer-related fatigue (CRF). Acupressure therapy can stimulate local microcirculation improvement and increasing physical performance. The purpose was determine the influence of acupressure therapy on CRF in cancer patients. The design used pre-experiment one group pre-test post-test design. Samples were 30 cancer patients living at the Indonesian Cancer Foundation East Java Branch taken by purposive technique based on inclusion criteria. The instrument was the Brief Fatigue Inventory. Acupressure therapy is given to acupoint C6, GB20, P6, Li4, Li11, Sp 6, St 36, 2 times per week for 4 weeks. Statistics was verified with Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test p < 0.05. Result showed the effect of acupressure therapy on CRF p = 0.000. Acupressure therapy can activate acupoint on the meridians, stimulating myelin nerves in the muscles and impulses into the central nervous system and can facilitate the reduction fatigue.

Anemia in pregnancy is the condition in which the level of mother’s hemoglobin is less than 12 gr/dL (Winkjosastro, 2002). According to WHO’s data, the maternal death in developing countries accounts for 40% related to anemia state in pregnancy. Most of the case is caused by iron deficiency and acute bleeding. Prevention of anemia can be done by giving the iron supplement tablets. However, by giving iron tablets alone, is not enough if pregnant women do not have any compliance about how to take it on. Maternal knowledge is known as the influence of that compliance. In order to increase their knowledge about anemia, providing the health education is a pivotal role. Health education in pregnancy care is an effort to influence other people, whether individuals, groups, or communities so that they do what is expected of education actors.

According to data from the Basic Health Research of Indonesia (Riskesdas), exclusively breastfed babies has reached only 15.3% in 2010. While in Denpasar, its level fell from 62.2% in 2007 to 56.2% in 2008 for infants aged 0-6 months. This study aims to find out an exclusive breastfeeding given in infants, assessing infant’s nutritional status, and the correlation between an exclusive breastfeeding with infant’s nutritional status at Primary Health Care, Region I in North Denpasar. This research used a descriptive correlative method. Subjects were given exclusively breastfed for totally 45 respondents. This type of sampling using a purposive sampling. Statistical analysis was done by Chi-Square. Respondents were breastfed exclusively has higher normal nutritional status for about 51.1% compared with those whose was not given, showing only 15.6%.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic infectious disease characterized by air flow resistance in the airways that is progressively non-reversible or partial reversible, this condition can cause patients to experience shortness of breath, giving rise to conditions of discomfort in body functions and patient limitations in carrying out activities daily. The aim of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of diaphragm therapy for the comfort of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The design of this study was one group pre-post test. The population in this study were all patients in the Cempaka pavilion in Jombang General Hospital with an average of 26 patients per month. The sample in this study was 20 respondents using simple random sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire. Processing data using editing, coding, scoring, tabulating and analyzing data using statistical tests Paired Sample T Test with alpha 0.05.

Dialysis is a therapy that aims to remove waste and excess fluid from the body. This method replaces the main function of the kidney. Two types of dialysis are known, namely Peritoneal Dialysis and Hemodialysis. Patients with chronic kidney failure are faced with these two treatment options. Both types of dialysis therapy have a risk of complications during the treatment period that can affect the quality of life of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in dialysis methods of patients with chronic kidney failure with CAPD (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis) and hemodialysis in terms of quality of life as a basis for palliative care. The research design uses a cross-sectional comparative analytical research design. The independent variable is the action of hemodialysis and CAPD. The dependent variable is quality of life.

Families need to have the attitude of accepting patients, give a positive response, appreciate the patient as family members and foster an attitude of responsibility to the patient, so the balance of life in the family may occur. The existence of the soul in the family of disorders affecting the function of the family. Families that work well will be able to provide care on a family member with good and vice versa. Research objectives to analyzed the influence of psikoedukasi on stress management in improving self efficacy and mechanism of ODGJ in caring for families koping (Schizophrenia). Design research is to take the pretest-posttest alphabets experiment pre design. The research of the variable Psikoedukasi as the independent variable and self efficacy and mechanism of the dependent variables as koping.

The population of the elderly group in Indonesia if not handled seriously, the Increasing of age will cause problems in the health, economic, and social fields. Older people are prone to various sufferings, one of which is awareness of death; this will be an important psychological problem in the elderly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the anxiety of the elderly in terms of the age of the elderly after being given progressive muscle relaxation training at the social care home of the UPT PLSU Blitar Tulungagung.
