Abstract

Efforts to prevent the spread of covid-19 through social media by providing information about covid-19. The study aims to determine the effect of social media on covid19 on hand washing behavior, mask wearing and physical distancing among Indonesian students. A pre-experimental research method with pre-test and post-test design. The research sample was 5400 students who were taken using simple random sampling technique. Health education interventions are given through social media and then the data is collected by distributing questionnaires with google form. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that after intervention through social media about covid-19 there was a change in transmission prevention behavior (p value 0.046), hand washing behavior (p value 0.011), mask wearing (p value 0.014), and physical distancing (p value 0.000). Social media is effectively used to provide health education because it can increase student knowledge and influence behavior in preventing covid-19 transmission

Abstract

Fulfilment of optimal balance nutrition will be affected by the health and reproductive system on the teenager. The main problem at that period is an iron deficiency or anaemia. Based on preliminary studies, there were 28 teenagers (29,1%) had anaemia. This research aims to analyze factors that influence the incidence of anaemia in teenager at Al Ma’ruf Islamic Boarding School Kediri. A study design used in this research is correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample were all teenagers as many as 96 people. The sampling technique used total population. Data analysis using Rho spearman and multiple logistic regression. The result showed factor that influenced the incident of anaemia are age ( 0,017; OR = 7,118), knowledge of nutrition ( 0,006; OR = 0,230), nutritional status (0,000 ; OR = 0,025). Physical activity ( 0,604) and length of menstruation ( 0,071) are not correlated with anaemia.

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is increasing. The efforts to prevent stunting can be done by giving exclusive breastfeeding. This study aims to identify and assess changes in knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding for prevention of stunting before and after health education interventions based on Tudang Sipulung in the treatment group and the control group at Puskesmas Jumpandang Baru and Puskesmas Pattingaloang Makassar in 2020. The type of this research is "Quasy Experiment", pre-test and post-test with control group design. The sample in this study was divided into two groups. The instruments are questionnaires and leaflets. The data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U test. the test result (p = 0.011) on knowledge. The result of the postpartum mother's attitude (p = 0.000) and the post-partum mother's actions showed the result (p = 0.000). There is an effect of-based health education interventions Tudang Sipulung.

Abstract

The community's high incidence of tuberculosis is closely related to behaviour, and family involvement. Transmission preventance becomes an important factor in controlling transmission of tuberculosis. The purpose of this study is to identify efforts to prevent tuberculosis transmission in western Lombok. Method. concise exploratory design using cross-sectional sampling of the sample using a purposeful sampling process with 58 respondents. Result. 72 % of respondents took measures to prevent tuberculosis based on the health belief model, namely; perceived susceptibility 72%; perceived seriousness 78%; perceived benefits 81%; perceived barriers 67%; and cues to action 65%. Duscussion.The need to improve family members' awareness about tuberculosis prevention and to practice safe and healthy living activities at all times.

Abstract

The results of the studyreveals that the systolic blood pressure increases by 13.6 mmHg and the diastolic decreases in diastolic blood pressure by 8.5 mmHg. The result showsp value 0.000 <α, and it is concluded that H0 is rejected and means that Foot Touch Therapy against blood pressure for patients with hypertension effectively reduces systolic blood pressure. The therapy model is considered good by 72.8%. The results of the analysis of the equivalence test in the diastolic variable group using the Levene's test obtained p value> α.It can be concluded that the data is homogeneous. The Ancova analysis results obtain F count 82.53 and p-value 0.000 <α, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected. It means that foottouch therapy against blood pressure in patients with hypertension effectively reduces diastolic blood pressure. The model of therapy is quite good by62%

Abstract

To reduce the incidence of stunting, prevention is needed starting from the pre-conception period, one of the preventive efforts with health education using a health calendar. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the health calendar as an effort to prevent stunting in premarital couples. This study used a pre-experiment. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were pre-marital couples aged <35 years and had never been married before as many as 16 premarital couples using the total population sampling technique, statistical test using Wilcoxon. There is an effect of the health calendar media on knowledge and attitudes in premarital couples (p-value = 0.001 and 0.003).The results that there is a need for health education using health calendar to increase knowledge and attitudes so that it is expected to change behavior to prevent stunting

Abstract

In Indonesia in 2012 there were around 53% of children under the age of 5 suffering from malnutrition due to a lack of food to meet their daily nutritional needs (Ministry of Health, 2012). Giving Lemongrass Oil Aromatherapy (Cymbogon Nardus) and Tuina Massage can be used as alternative treatments to overcome feeding difficulties in toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effectiveness of Lemongrass Oil Aromatherapy and Tuina Massage in overcoming feeding difficulties in toddlers. The research design was Two Group Pre Test Post Test Design with a population of children under five who had difficulty eating totaling 32 respondents, l data using Wilcoxon and different tests using Man. Whitney. The results showed that there is a difference between giving lemongrass oil aromatherapy with tuina massage in overcoming feeding difficulties in toddlers (P_Value = 0,0056)

Abstract

The implementation of 3S (SDKI, SIKI, and SLKI) is a benchmark used as a guideline for the enforcement of nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, and a nursing outsider to provide safe, effective, and ethical nursing care. This study aims to analyze the implementation of 3S on the quality of documentation in hospital inpatient rooms. Research design correlation analysis with the cross-sectional approach. The research sample of implementing nurses in hospital inpatient rooms who have implemented 3S. Sampling techniques use sampling quotas. Based on Chi-Square test results obtained, p-value = 0.001 < α 0.005 . It means there is a relationship of application of 3S to the quality of nursing care documentation in hospital inpatient rooms. Based on the results of this study, the Head of Nursing is expected to implement 3S to improve the quality of nursing care documentation, which will have an impact on improving the quality of nursing services

Abstract

The results showed that the factors associated with maternal mortality based on the analysis were history of ANC (OR = 37.4; 95% CI: 9.5 - 313.6; p = 0.012), place of death (OR = 21.5; 95% CI: 2.5 - 188.5; p = 0.001), Health Facility (OR = 21.5; 95% CI: 2.5 - 188.5; p = 0.001), Non-referral case (OR = 91.2; 95% CI: 11.1 - 750; p = 0.001), delay in referral (OR = 122.1; 95% CI: 14.7 - 1010.2; p = 0.001). The results of the qualitative study showed that maternal mortality was affected by several factors, such as the low level of understanding of danger signs in pregnancy, labor and childbirth, low levels of late referral by overdue family decisions.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is pain during menstruation which is felt in the lower abdomen and back. The high incidence of dysmenorrhea in adolescents still does not get enough concern, even though it can cause a person to become weak, pale, reduce concentration, disturb daily activities, having a negative impact on quality of life. One of the factors that can cause dysmenorrhea is poor dietary habit. This study aims to analyze the correlation between dietary habit and dysmenorrhea in female adolescents. This type of research is quantitative, the number of samples are 262 respondents and the sampling technique was accidental sampling. Testing data using the Chi Square analysis test. From the results of the Chi Square analysis test, it was found that the value of p = 0.005 with a correlation value of 0.011, the study showed that there is a correlation between dietary habit with dysmenorrhea in female adolescent.
