Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has brought many changes in the field of education, one of which is the use of web-based information systems to support the process of completing student's final projects. The final project is an essential component in higher education programs, but often faces various challenges, such as coordination between students and supervisors, document management, and scheduling of activities. To address these issues, this research aims to develop a web-based final project information system that can help students and supervisors manage and monitor the final project completion process effectively. This research uses the Waterfall system development method, which consists of the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In the requirement analysis stage, the researchers identify and document the system requirements, including the main features, functionality flow, user interface, and constraints that must be met. Intensive and collaborative communication with users, namely supervisors and students, is crucial at this stage. By understanding the system requirements comprehensively, the researchers can design appropriate solutions that meet user expectations.

Abstract

Designing and implementing a decision support application for determining the best-subsidized housing using the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization based on Ratio Analysis) method is an important step in helping the community, especially low-income communities (MBR). One of the areas where there are subsidized houses is Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang. Where there is no web-based application system or similar that can distribute information about subsidized housing to the community in that area. Therefore, it is necessary to build a decision-support application using a method. The MOORA method is very suitable for use in this context because of its ability to handle decision-making problems that involve many criteria. The application designed and built using the MOORA method is able to produce the best housing recommendations based on the highest ranking and calculation results for each predetermined criteria, where the highest result is ranking 1, namely Grya Seruni housing.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly impacted various aspects of life, including management and administration. Efficient scheduling and room management remain a major challenge for educational, governmental, and private institutions. Manual processes are often time-consuming, prone to errors, and lack flexibility in responding to dynamic changes. This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system for scheduling and room management to address these challenges effectively. The system provides features such as building and room management, schedule management, and user account handling, enhancing accessibility and reducing overlapping schedules and allocation errors. The development process involves system requirement analysis and modeling using Use Case and Entity Relationship Diagrams. The resulting system simplifies real-time monitoring, automates manual processes, and improves institutional operational efficiency. Testing through black-box methods confirmed the system's functionality and user-friendliness, ensuring reliable implementation for users. This study contributes to technological advancement by offering a practical solution to operational inefficiencies while laying the groundwork for further enhancements in system functionality and user interface design.

Abstract

Vehicle maintenance is an important aspect to ensure optimal performance and vehicle life. Conventional maintenance approaches based on time or mileage (Time-Based Maintenance) are often ineffective, because they do not consider the actual condition of the vehicle. Predictive Maintenance supported by machine learning algorithms offers a more accurate solution in detecting potential vehicle damage before failure occurs, so that maintenance can be carried out according to actual needs. This study aims to develop a machine learning-based predictive maintenance model with a case study at the Payung Auto Solution workshop, which leads to the repair of Nissan, Datsun, and other vehicle brands. The methods used in this study include collecting operational data and vehicle maintenance history at Payung Auto Solution. This data is analyzed and processed using machine learning algorithms, such as Random Forest and Neural Network, to build a predictive model that is able to identify damage patterns in vehicle components. This model is tested and evaluated using prediction accuracy metrics, to determine the effectiveness of the model in predicting maintenance needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk perekrutan calon model di PT. Rama Indonesia menggunakan metode ELECTRE. Proses seleksi yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual sering kali mengalami kendala subjektivitas dan birokrasi yang berbelit. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem yang lebih objektif dan efisien dalam menyeleksi calon model berdasarkan lima kriteria utama, yaitu Hasil Tes Wawancara, Kemampuan Berpose, Kesehatan dan Kebugaran, Portofolio, serta Keterampilan Khusus. Analisis dilakukan terhadap 10 alternatif calon model dengan menerapkan metode ELECTRE untuk menentukan peringkat berdasarkan bobot kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa lima kandidat berhasil memenuhi batas minimal passing grade 75%, yaitu Arifa Valkenburg (89%), Putri Mendriani (83%), Anisa Putri Ganesh (80%), Nurul (85%), dan Dinda (89%), sementara lima kandidat lainnya tidak memenuhi kriteria kelulusan. Implementasi sistem ini memungkinkan PT. Rama Indonesia untuk melakukan proses seleksi dengan lebih akurat, transparan, dan cepat. Dengan demikian, metode ELECTRE terbukti efektif dalam membantu pengambilan keputusan perekrutan calon model.
