Abstract

Kualitas produk manufaktur sangat bergantung pada standar material, termasuk komposisi kimia yang dipersyaratkan dan ketiadaan cacat. Namun, sulitnya mendapatkan bahan baku standar yang terjangkau membuat banyak IKM di Kabupaten Tegal menggunakan skrap atau material bekas untuk pembuatan komponen kapal. Penggunaan skrap ini memerlukan pengujian untuk memastikan produk memenuhi standar Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) dan DIN EN 1706, namun banyak IKM mengabaikan hal ini, sehingga kualitas produk sering tidak sesuai spesifikasi yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini merumuskan AlSi12(b) dari skrap dudukan kampas rem, aluminium siku, aluminium plat, panci, dan master alloy AlSi49. Setelah simulasi komposisi kimia, dilakukan pengecoran menggunakan metode sand casting. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa formula AlSi12(b) memenuhi standar BKI dan DIN EN 1706, kecuali kandungan tembaga yang melebihi batas. Sementara itu, produk IKM menggunakan material acak seperti AC-4500 atau AlSi6Cu4 yang tidak memenuhi standar BKI. Persentase porositas pada formula dudukan kampas rem adalah 2,85%, sedikit lebih rendah dari produk IKM yang mencapai 2,97%

Abstract

The need for clean water for people in Indonesia is increasing, especially in coastal areas, while the availability of clean water is very limited. One of the efforts made to anticipate is by utilizing sea water with a solar distillation system. In this study, the absorber used was rice husk briquettes. Various distillation technologies have been developed, but distillation technology with solar energy sources is still experiencing various obstacles so further technology and research are needed. To develop this technology, research was conducted with the aim of (1) producing a design of the thickness and density of rice husk briquettes in a seawater distillation system. (2) to produce clean water for each pair of thickness and density of rice husk briquettes through a seawater distillation system. (3) Knowing how much heat absorption efficiency is by using a rice husk briquette absorber. The research method used is a comparative method, which is a comparative study, where in this study the thickness and density of rice husk briquettes are compared. The data analysis method used the descriptive method. The parameters to be analyzed are plate temperature (Tp), glass temperature (Tg), water temperature (tw), basin room temperature (Tsv), ambient temperature (Ta) and distilled water (AT), area of absorbent plate (Ac), Collector and distillation efficiency. This research resulted in a design for the distillation of seawater into clean water using an absorber plate (absorber) of rice husk briquettes which can increase the production of clean water.

Abstract

PT Swisstex Naratama Indonesia is a private company engaged in the sale or distribution of chemicals for textiles. The problem with PT Swisstex Naratama Indonesia is that it lacks a fleet of trucks to send products from the central warehouse to the warehouse in Solo City, so the company carries out the delivery process using the CV XYZ delivery service. Due to an increase in rental rates of 15% every year, PT Swisstex Naratama Indonesia plans to buy 1 unit of a new truck to overcome this problem but there is a rejection of the request which makes the company have to evaluate whether the investment in purchasing 1 unit of truck is feasible or not. The shipping demand data used is data for 2020-2022, demand for the next 5 years is analyzed using the forecasting decomposition method. The methods used to analyze investment feasibility are Net Present Value, Payback Period, and Internal Rate of Return. The NPV obtained from purchasing a truck is – IDR 1,188,596,987 and the NPV for renting a truck is – IDR 1,464,905,648. Based on Payback Period calculations, the company needs 4 years and 6 months to return the initial capital from its investment. This time is shorter than the economic fleet's lifespan, which is 5 years. And based on the results of truck investment calculations, an IRR value of 16.21% was obtained. When compared with the required profit level of 15%, the IRR value from the calculation results is higher. By considering the NPV criteria, PP and IRR assessments, it can be concluded that investment in purchasing a fleet of Mitsubishi brand trucks, Colt Diesel Double FE 73 110 PS, can be implemented or is considered feasible.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menghitung volume dan  komposisi bahan bakar yang dihasilkan dari produksi bahan bakar dari limbah plastik polyethylene setiap liternya. Metode: penelitian menggunakan metode pirolisis dengan suhu 450-621°C tanpa menggunakan katalis, dan analisis kuantitif. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan metode GC-MS. Hasil: Pirolisis limbah HDPE 5 Kg menghasilkan nafta 3,25 liter, bensin 0,85 liter; solar 0,325 liter; dan karbon aktif 18,06 gram. Kesimpulan: Pirolisis limbah HDPE 5 Kg menghasilkan nafta 3,25 liter; bensin 0,85 liter; solar 0,325 liter (88,86% bahan bakar total), dan karbon aktif 18,06 gram. Komposisi bahan bakar yang dihasilkan dalam pirolisis limbah plastik HDPE berupa nafta, bensin, dan solar serta menghasilkan residu berupa karbon.

Abstract

This study investigates the acceptance and usage of e-marketing among Indonesian coffee farmers using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model. With the rapid growth of digital platforms, e-marketing offers unique opportunities for coffee farmers to expand their market reach, increase sales, and improve operational efficiency. A qualitative research approach was adopted to explore UTAUT 2, the development of e-marketing for Indonesian coffee farmers can become more effective and relevant because this model helps design strategies based on a deep understanding of the factors that encourage or hinder technology acceptance among farmers. how factors such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions, impact coffee farmers' adoption of e-marketing technologies. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with coffee farmers and industry stakeholders across several Indonesian regions, providing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and motivations driving e-marketing adoption. The findings reveal that, while coffee farmers recognize the potential benefits of e-marketing, several barriers—such as limited digital literacy, infrastructure constraints, and concerns over technology costs—hinder widespread adoption. Social influence, particularly from peers and family, was found to play a critical role in encouraging the use of digital platforms. Moreover, facilitating conditions, including access to training and support, significantly enhance adoption rates. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers and technology providers aiming to increase digital inclusion among rural coffee producers. It suggests that tailored interventions addressing local challenges can foster greater e-marketing adoption, ultimately contributing to the economic sustainability of Indonesia's coffee farming sector.
