Abstract

In Indonesia, several types of HSOs include government organizations, private organizations, and non-profit organizations. Strategic planning is crucial for HSOs as it helps them to map their direction and goals, manage their resources, identify opportunities and challenges, coordinate their activities, and measure and evaluate their performance. To assist in strategic planning, various mapping models can be used. One of the models that can be used is Scenario- Based Road Mapping (SBRM). This research is a literature review that discusses different strategic planning models for HSOs, which can help organizations formulate more effective and adaptive strategies. These models can help HSOs better understand how strategic planning models such as SBRM, Balanced Scorecard, and ERM can be applied in an organizational context. This research aims to examine these various models, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and provide deeper insights into strategic planning models in HSO. Strategic planning is a crucial aspect of HSO safety and survival, and with a better understanding of various mapping models, organizations can better meet challenges and achieve their goals. It is important for HSOs to recognize the significance of good strategic planning. Therefore, strategic planning must be carried out by professional individuals who have a deep understanding of strategic design creation and sensitivity to changes and threats.

Abstract

The social rehabilitation process in which children face legal conflict is not easy, especially when they are far from their families. This article aims to examine the forms and benefits of social support from foster parents to Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH) who are undergoing the process of social rehabilitation. Descriptive qualitative research was conducted at the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who Need Special Protection (BRSAMPK). This research was conducted in March-July 2021. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with 13 informants, consisting of children in conflict with the law, heads of social services and rehabilitation, foster parents, and social workers. The results of the research show that foster parents BRSAMPK Handayani Jakarta provide social supports to children: emotional support in the form of giving affection, appreciation support in the form of giving positive sentences, instrumental support in the form of giving rewards, and informative support in the form of input and suggestions. The social support provided by foster parents can fill the absence of the family and help the child undergo the social rehabilitation process. The social support received by ABH makes them feel comfortable and open with their foster parents; the social rehabilitation process is smoother; and encourages changes in ABH behavior. The conclusion is that the social support provided by foster parents who are significant others has a very crucial role in the social rehabilitation process and fulfillment of ABH's rights. This article contributes to the study of social welfare by providing a more in-depth description of the role of social support for ABH in social rehabilitation process, facilitating behavioral change, and fulfilling the rights of ABH.

Abstract

The community's dependence on the forest makes the community's position vulnerable when access to the forest is restricted. The restrictions on community access to forests impact on emerging social problems such as poverty, conflict, and illegal logging. Responding to this problem, the government rolled out a social forestry program to improve people's lives. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation to study in depth how the community development stages are implemented in the social forestry program in Burno Village. The results showed that there were community development efforts from CDK Lumajang to LMDH Wono Lestari and Pesanggem, especially in capacity building activities. This is intended so that Pesanggem who gets management rights to the forest can utilize the potential of forest resources in a planned and organized manner to create an increase in community welfare. The realization of the social forestry Burno Village doesn't only focus on managing the forest area (on-farm), but is also directed to developing business potential outside the forest area (off-farm).

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) policy in poverty alleviation efforts in Kembangan District, West Jakarta, during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the BPNT program managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia adheres to the distribution procedures, several challenges have emerged, including delays in disbursing aid funds, invalid beneficiary data, issues with E-waroeng (food stalls), account registration, delayed distribution, and occasional inadequacy of food supplies. However, supportive factors such as effective coordination, improved data management, education, active participation from local authorities, and the commitment of E-waroeng owners have contributed to the program's success and maximized its benefits for beneficiaries. Efforts to address these challenges and ensure enhanced efficiency and timeliness in BPNT program implementation are essential.

Abstract

The presence of mining projects or power plants that utilize or exploit natural resources has the potential for environmental, social, and economic problems for the community. There are many cases of rejection from communities around the project area, which can even lead to conflict and anarchic actions that cause losses for several parties. Meanwhile, there are demands for energy sustainability amidst the current crisis in the availability of fossil energy. Therefore, the government provides support through several policies, one of which is encouraging the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility so that core project activities can take place with attention to the welfare of the surrounding community. Using qualitative methods and data collection techniques through interviews and documentation studies, this article contains a description and analysis of the role of farmer development programs as PT CSR. SMGP in the face of community resistance. The results show that the farmer development program as a CSR of PT. SMGP is effective in directly reducing farmer resistance. The CSR program indirectly provides a sense of the company's presence in nearby village communities so that the continuity of the company's activities is supported (social license to operate). Apart from that, field findings also illustrate the forms and reasons for community resistance to companies.

Abstract

The Tourism Village Policy launched by the government has developed into an ambitious initiative that can boost the community's economy. However, behind this dream, there is a complex discussion about how ready the village community is to undertake this transformation. This article discusses the stages of the community undergoing the tourism village program against the background of Taraju Village having limited access, the existence of newly formed supporting community self-help groups, and even the community's initial rejection of the development of a tourism village. Meanwhile, this tourist village has achieved achievements on a provincial and national scale. The research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, in-depth interviews, literature studies and field observations. The research results show that in establishing a tourist village, the stage of community readiness is a crucial factor in creating a sustainable tourist village. This stage starts from the reality that there is no public awareness regarding the development of tourism village, so it is necessary to raise awareness from various agencies. Efforts to prepare a tourism village continue with efforts to increase knowledge, as well as village involvement in Tourism Village competitions and culminate in the planning stage for the development of the Taraju Tourism Village.
