Abstract

History learning requires learning media to facilitate understanding of events and historical heritage. Youtube video audio visual learning media is a medium that is able to present images and videos to assits students understanding historical material. Banyuwangi Hindu-Buddhist sites were selected as material in development. The purpose of this study is to generate learning media which is adequated and validated, and to produce effective learning media to be enganged in historical learning. This study utilized Borg and Gall model which comprises of seven development stages, namely: (1) Research and information collection, (2) Planning, (3) Develop preminary form of product, (4) Preliminary field testing, (5) Main product revision, (6) Main Field Testing, and (7) Operational Product Revision. The obtained product has been validated by content material expert, media and design expert. The content validation value obtained 93,3% means as "very good" and for media validation value is 91,66 % which categorize as "very good". The results of educators usage test show that 90% are categorized as "very good". Small group test results and large group test results obtained 0.6% with the effectiveness category "moderate", while 0.8% with the effectiveness category "high". Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that audio visual youtube video learning media is effective to be enganged used in history learning process of grade X. Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is designed to strengthen the character of students and national identity.The objectives of the history subject are developing national values, forming awareness andengaging local events in a series of Indonesian histories. Learning history by utilizing localhistory is important to embrace local wisdom values (local genius). Based on the needs analysisperformed in 3 high schools in Banyuwangi, it can be seen that 60.71% used textbooks and asmany as 83.33% of students still do not recognize about the local history around theirsurroundings. This study aims to produce effective e-module of local history learning for historylearning. Development model engaged ADDIE model. The instruments used werequestionnaires, interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The results showed that (1)the e-module of local history used in history learning obtained results from material expertvalidation is 77.64% means “good” qualifications, language validation is 92% means “verygood” qualifications , and learning design expert validation is 90% means “very good”qualifications. The results of individual trials conducted on educators showed the percentage of82.22% means “good” qualifications. The results of the small group trials show the results ofn-gain 68.93 with a moderate level of effectiveness. The results of field trials show the resultsof the calculation of n-gain 75.56 with a high level of effectiveness. Based on the results of thestudy, e-module of local history learning effectively used as learning resources for students.Keywords: Electronic Modules, Local History, ADDIE, Effectiveness

Abstract

Information technology and communication based learning is a necessity for today's students who are skilled at technology. For this reason, media and learning resources need to be developed. Based on performance analysis, it shows that students are facilitated by media only 25% and learning resources are only 17%. The results of characteristic analysis of students at SMAN 3 Jember, Ambulu Senior High School, and Rambipuji High School indicate that: (1) 40% of students were able to recall the material; (2) audio learning style is 33.37%, visual is 57.17%, kinesthetic is 14.66%; (3) 51.51% of students obtain high motivation. The purpose of this research is to develop a validated and effective Prezi media for learning class XI history subject. This study utilizes the ASSURE development model. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques, questionnaires, and tests. The results of expert validation on the development of Prezi namely, material experts are 80% means good qualifications, media experts and learning design are 80% means with good qualifications, and linguists obtain 86% means very good qualifications. The results of testing users 1 and 2 are 88% and 89% means very good qualifications. The effectiveness usage of Prezi in small groups is 0.6% with moderate qualifications and large groups of 0.73% means high qualifications. Abstract

The development of history learning module that can improve historical awareness is the demand of 2013 curriculum at this time.Educators are expected to have the ability to develop teaching materials according to the students’ need in order to help teaching and learning activities and to improve the quality of learning. This research aims to produce character-based historical learning modules that may develop the students’ historical awareness.The subjects of this research were 2nd grade of MIPA 3 and MIPA 4 of Pasirian Senior High school included of 44 students.This research was conducted in February to March, 2019. The results showed that the character-based historical learning modules were validated with very good categories; the expert validation of field content was 88%, the expert validation of learning design was 92%, the expert validation of linguist was 96%, the user test was 98%.By using the product which has been valid was seen the improvement of historical awareness. The percentage on small group trials before learning was 51,75% and after learning was 87,75%, so it was got improvement in the amount of 86,75%. The percentage on large group trials before learning was 61% and after learning was 87,5%, so it was got improvement in the amount of 86,5%. The improvement of historical awareness on groups trials includes in very high category.The Conclusion of this research is a validated character-based history learning module and able to increase students' historical awareness. Abstract

The aim of this study are (1) to improve students' ability of critical thinking basic level in historical subject through the implementation of problem based learning using audio visual for students at eleventh class of social SMA 1 ARJASA 2018/2019. (2) to improve the history outcomes through the implementation of problem based d learning using visual audio for students at eleventh class of social SMA 1 ARJASA 2018/2019. This research was classroom action research. Moreover, the subject’s of this research ware the students at eleventh class of social SMA 1 ARJASA which the number of the participants was 35 students. The research design was using Kemmis’s & Taggret’s research model with stages for each cycle. Each cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This research consisted of three cycles. Besides, the data collection of this research used observasion, interview, test, and documenter. For the analysis data, this research usedquantitative and qualitative technique. The research result showed that there was any improvement of students’ ability of critical thinking and history outcomes subject. The percentage of students’ critical thinking of the first cycle, it showed as many as 52. 40% clasically. Then, for the next cycle, it improved as many as 66. 23%, and for the last cycle, the percentage was 77. 67%. And for the percentage of students’ outcomes of historical subject was as many as 78. 34%. Then, for the second cycle as 80. 4%, and for the last cycle, the percentage was 81. 71%. It can be concluded that the utilization of problem based learning through visual audio improve’s students’ ability of critical thinking and their output of historical subject.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to generate by an Indonesian History e-book based on discovery learning that was validated subject matter experts, linguists, and learning design experts; and (2) to identify the impact of e-books based on discovery learning on increasing the students independence. This study uses the ASSURE development model consisting of (1) analyze learner characteristic; (2) state of performance objective; (3) select methods, media, and materials; (4) utilizing materials; (5) requires leaner participation, and (6) evaluate and revize. The validation results show: (1) the subject matter expert (78% means good criteria); (2) linguists (90% means very good criteria); and (3) design experts (83% means good criteria). The test results of educator users and students get 89% and 86% in which are very good. The trial results show: (1) small group trials have significant differences before (64.31) and after (82.05) e-books utilization with sig. 0.000 and Gain Score 0.5 means a moderate increase; and (2) field trials have significant differences before (53.49) and after (82.61) e-books utilization with sig values 0.000 and Gain Score 0.6 means that there is a moderate increase.

Abstract

Abstract The Gandrung Sewu Festival is a traditional celebration featuring thousands of more Gandrung dancers and performed out on the beach. The purpose of Gandrung Sewu Festival is to preserve regional culture and attract tourists to visit Banyuwangi. The results of the research obtained were that the background of the Sewu Gandrung Festival was established by: (1) socio-cultural factors, in which want to prove that Gandrung’s existence is real in Banyuwangi; (2) political factors, in order to attract tourists coming to Banyuwangi; (3) economic factors, in order to increase Domestic Income of Banyuwangi Regency by introducing Gandrung Sewu Festival. The person in charge of the Gandrung Sewu Festival was originally Paguyuban Pelatih Seni dan Tari Banyuwangi “Patih Senawangi” (Association, of Art and Dance Coaches of Banyuwangi), there by all the needs of the Gandrung Sewu Festival were completed by Patih Senawangi and there was no assistance from any party. The cost constraints made Patih Senawangi decide not to perform the Gandrung Sewu Festival in the coming year. Finally in 2014, Gandrung Sewu Festival was taken over by the Banyuwangi Regency Culture and Tourism Office. This aims to facilitate tourisme interests, and encourage tourists to Banyuwangi. Abstract

Harapan Kita Farmers Group is one of the organizations located in the Suger Lor Village. Formation Harapan Kita Farmers Group because have the same purpose to increase amount of rice production. Because, farmers Suger Lor Village still not produce the maximum harvest. The problems studied are: (1) the background of the establishmen of the Harapan Kita Farmers Group in Suger Lor Village in 1997; (2) the business of the Harapan Kita Farmers Group in increasing the prosperity of farmers in Suger Lor Village in 1997-2018; (3) the effect of the efforts made by te Harapan Kita Farmers Group on the prosperity of farmers in Suger Lor Village in 1997-2018. The research method is the historical method, which consist of heuristis, criticism, interpretation, historiography. The result of the research obtained in this study are: background of the establishment of the Harapan Kita Farmers Group because large are and the condition of farmers still poor. The business of the Harapan Kita Farmers Group do cooperating with the Departement of Agriculture, implement fiver farms, and assist farmers in marketing their crops. Abstract

The traditional art of Reyog originated from Ponorogo Regency spread in Ngawi Regency. Reyog Ponorogo in Ngawi District experienced fluctuation of Reyog Ponorogo Art Dynamics in Ngawi Regency needs to be done. Study as follows; (1) social condition in Kabupaten Ngawi; (2) the change of Reyog art in Ngawi District; (3) Reyog's preservation efforts in Ngawi District year 2000-2015. This method uses historical method with heuristic steps, criticism, interpretation and historiography. This study resulted Reyog art in Ngawi Regency experiencing a shift function that was originally used for ritual means to be a means of entertainment of the people in Ngawi District. The role of the Reyog artist who is incorporated in the groups in Ngawi regency has fluctuation in its preservation because of the current globalization that greatly affects the people in Ngawi regency, as well as the efforts made by the artists to keep preserving the art of Reyog. Suggestions for the future that the government, artists and society maintain and preserve this Reyog art.

Abstract

Abdurrahman Wahid is the fourth president of the Republic of Indonesia. During the leadership of President Abdurrahman Wahid has big problems to be resolved soon, namely in relation to the demands of reforms in which there is a demand to liberate the power of civilian control over the military by removing the concept of dual function of ABRI. The problem formulation in this research is, (1) What is behind the emergence of Abdurrahman Wahid's political policy on the Indonesian Military, (2) What is Abdurrahman Wahid's political policy on the Indonesian Military?, and (3) What are the implications of Abdurrahman Wahid's political policy on the Indonesian Military. This study uses William N Dunn's public policy approach and military civil-relations theory. The result of this research is the demands of reform which become the background of political policy of President Abdurrahman about the Indonesian military.
