In today's Indonesia, organizing a democratic party's general election (election) is commonly referred to as "money politics." A democratic party's political decision should ideally be based on a shared interest in the candidate's vision and goal, or on shared ideology, and carried out in accordance with societal values and conventions. However, money politics has become a common tactic in our elections as a means of gaining voters. This study attempts to discuss this phenomenon through a qualitative approach and a phenomenology study, with the results being a description of the meaning of money and the psychological reasoning behind vote-buying behavior on both sides. The findings show that 'giving', in the informant's opinion, is an alms, affection, and present that should be valued rather than a violation of the law or a negative thing. Second, giving is perceived as something that does not contradict one's or society's values and norms. The pattern of interactions between political candidates and voters in a vertical relationship develops a strong need relationship because the modeling process that results from this practice is done by many people and has been done for years. Third, voters have the resources and opportunities to engage in money politics or vote-buying activities. Where resources support the practice of money politics' long-term viability due to lax law enforcement and private-sector activities.

Finding out the element that influence reading achievement in a second/foreign language (L2) is essential for L2 teachers to improve learners’ L2 reading skills. Some studies had conducted to investigate the factors in term of learning media particularly flashcard that has an impact on reading comprehension. However, flashcard media has a variety to implement in learning process such as wordwall assisted flashcard. The current study fills this gap by examining the relationship between that learning media and reading comprehension in English as a Foreign Language (EFL). The base allegation of this study is that flash cards as learning media may have an impact on students’ reading comprehension to grasp the information in a procedure text. Two kinds of procedure text were used on reading reading tests (pre-test and post-test) that was accomplished by fourty seven EFL students. They were divided into two classes to find the difference in reading abilities of students who were treated using flashcards and students who were not. The results from the two tests will be compared to determine the impact of using flashcard as learning media on students' reading comprehension. The statistical analysis's findings showed significant differences in EFL reading comprehension according to test score, indicating that wordwall assisted flashcard plays a crucial role in shaping EFL learners’ reading achievement. These results provide insightful information on how flashcards as learning media might be implemented and organized to support L2 learners in enhancing their L2 reading skills. The study infers with a few suggestions for further study in the areas of flashcards as L2 learning media and L2 reading.

Frontliners, including receptionists, reservation staff, guest service agents, and other front office staff, have a central role in shaping the guest experience from check-in to check-out. This study aims to identify the specific duties and responsibilities of frontliners as well as how their performance affects guest satisfaction. Data were collected through a mixed method approach, using qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data was obtained through guest satisfaction surveys, while qualitative insights were obtained from interviews with guests and front office staff. The findings show that the effectiveness of frontliners in providing warm welcomes, efficient communication, professional complaint handling, and personalized service significantly contribute to a positive guest experience. In addition, the frontliner's ability to collaborate well with other departments and maintain a high standard of professionalism further increases guest satisfaction. The study emphasizes the importance of ongoing training for frontliners to equip them with the necessary skills to meet and exceed guest expectations. The results show that by investing in the development and support of frontliners, hotels can significantly improve guest satisfaction, which in turn can increase guest loyalty and strengthen the hotel's reputation in the competitive hospitality market. Further research is suggested to explore the impact of technological advancements on the role of frontliners and conduct comparative studies across different hotel categories to identify best practices in guest service management.
