Sasambo: Jurnal Abdimas (Journal of Community Service) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (LITPAM) that publish 4 issues per year in February, May, August, and November. This journal accepts and publishes scientific articles that are original and focused on community service. Manuscripts are written using an academic approach or scientific method by presenting data on the impact of community service activities that have been carried out. The theme written must have an impact or can be generalized to local, regional or national populations such as various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society, as a form of contribution to empowerment and sustainable development in the social and humanities, science and technology fields.

Abstract

Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menganalisis Resiko Usaha Ternak Di Dusun Koloh Brora dan Pengenalan Upaya Mitigasi Resiko Melalui Diversifikasi Usaha. Kegiata ini bermitra dengan kelompok ternak yang ada  di dusun Koloh Brorah dengan sasaran ibu rumah tangga dari kelompok ternak, kegiatan ini melibatkan 29 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah difusi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Dengan prosedur kerja yakni 1) perencanaan,  tindakan, pendampingan, dan  evaluasi. Hasil dari kegitan ini adalah 1) terbentuknya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang resiko usah ternak  dan bentuk upaya mitigasi resiko, 1) terbentuknya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang  mitigasi resiko melalui derifikasi usaha, 2) terbentuknya keterampilan derifikasi usaha pembuatan kue dan jajanan, 3) terbentuknya keterampilan dalam pengemasan yang baik dan higienis, dan 4) memahami menejemen dalam penjualan produk hasil kegiatan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan setelah program ini berakhir adalah upaya peningkatan komitmen para istri peternak tersebut agar dapat konsisten menjalankan apa yang sudah diarahkan oleh tim fasilitator.Livestock Business Risk Analysis in Koloh Brora Hamlet and Introduction to Risk Mitigation Efforts Through Business DiversificationAbstract The purpose of this community service program is to analyze Livestock Business Risks in Koloh Brora Hamlet and Introduction to Risk Mitigation Efforts through Business Diversification. This activity was partnered with a group of livestock in the Koloh Brorah hamlet with the target of a housewife from the livestock group, this activity involved 29 people. The method used is the diffusion of science and technology. With work procedures, namely 1) planning, action, assistance, and evaluation. The results of this activity are 1) the formation of knowledge and understanding of agricultural risks and forms of risk mitigation, 1) the formation of knowledge and understanding of financial mitigation through business derification, 2) the formation of business and cake making snacks and derivation skills. 3) arrange skills in good and hygienic packaging, 4) understand management in the sale of products from activities. The recommendation given after the program ends is an effort to increase the commitment of the wives of farmers to facilitate what has been directed by the facilitator team.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi anak binaan SD Muhammadiyah 09 Bahari Surabaya melalui rumah baca kreatif berbasis e-learning. Kegiatan ini melibatkan semua guru yang ada di SD Muhammadiyah 09 Bahari Surabaya.  Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi guru mitra yaitu melalui serangkaian kegiatan IST (in service training), OST (on service training) dan implementasi. Hasil kegiatan ini antara lain 1) terlaksananya PkM sesuai dengan rencana, 2) terbentuknya pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran e-learning, 3) terbentuknya keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan media e-learning dalam pemblajaran. Kegiatan pendampingan masih perlu dilakukan secara kontinu agar guru benar-benar dapat membuat dan mengaplikaskannya dalam pembelajaran, selian itu perlu ada inovasi pembelajaran e learning untuk di terapkan pada kelas 1,2 dan 3 SD. Khususnya di SD Muhammadiyah 09 Bahari Surabaya.PKM Creative Reading House Based on E-Learning Efforts to Grow Literacy Culture of Fostered Children of SD Muhammadiyah 09 Bahari SurabayaAbstractThe purpose of this PKM activity is to foster a literacy culture of fostered children at SD Muhammadiyah 09 Bahari Surabaya through e-learning-based creative reading houses. This activity involved all the teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 09 Bahari Surabaya. The method used to solve problems provided by partner teachers through training in IST activities (service training), OST (service training) and implementation. 1) the implementation of PkM in accordance with the plan, 2) formed teacher knowledge and understanding of e-learning learning, 3) the formation of teacher skills in using e-learning media in learning. Mentoring activities still need to be done so that the teacher can really make and apply it in learning, and in addition there needs to be learning to be applied in grades 1,2 and 3 elementary schools. Especially at SD Muhammadiyah 09 Bahari Surabaya.

Abstract

Lokakaraya dan pelatihan pembuatan preparat biologi bagi guru-guru SMA bertujuan untuk melatih guru-guru membuat preparat awetan biologi yang penting dalam pelaksaaan praktikum biologi di sekolah. Khalayak sasaran dari pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru SMA biologi di Lampung Timur. Kegiatan pengabdian telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Oktober 2019 yang bertempat di Laboratorium SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara, dengan diikuti oleh 26 orang peserta guru biologi SMA. Hasil evaluasi diperoleh hasil dan manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diantaranya adalah meningkatkan keterampilan guru- guru SMA dalam pembuatan preparat smear darah dan preparat awetan biologi sebagai media pembelajaran biologi. Kegiatan diharapkan kelak dapat membantu guru-guru biologi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPA sehingga  mutu pembelajaran IPA dapat lebih meningkat.Workshop and Training on Making Biology Preparations for High School Teachers in East LampungAbstractThe workshop and training in making biological preparations for high school teachers aims to train teachers to make biological preparations that are important in the implementation of biology practices in schools. The target audience for this service is high school biology teachers in East Lampung. The dedication activity was carried out on October 15, 2019 which took place at the State High School Laboratory of 1 Jepara, with 26 participants participating in the high school biology teacher. The evaluation results obtained the results and benefits of this service include increasing the skills of high school teachers in making blood smear preparations and biological preservation preparations as media for learning biology. The activity is expected to be able to help biology teachers in developing science learning media so that the quality of science learning can be improved

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi tentang bahaya limbah anorganik bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan serta memberikan pelatihan cara pengolahan limbah anorganik berupa kain perca sehingga memiliki nila guna dan nilai ekonomi. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa sumber Baru Kecamatan Lampung Tengah karena berdasarkan hasil prasurvei dari 4 penjahit rumahan di Desa Sumber Baru tersebut belum tahu cara memanfaatkan limbah kain perca. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan edukasi bahaya limbah onorganik dan memberikan pelatihan pengolahan limbah anorganik dari kain perca kepa masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan tersebut masyarakat menjadi peduli terhadap lingkungan dengan mengolah limbah anorganik kain perca menjadi keterampilan yang memiliki niali guna dan nilai ekonomi, seperti bros dan bandana.Patchwork Cloth Skills Training to Reduce Inorganic WasteAbstractThe purpose of this community service activity is to provide education about the dangers of inorganic waste to the environment and health and to provide training in how to treat inorganic waste in the form of patchwork so that it has value and economic value. This dedication was carried out in Sumber Baru Village, Central Lampung District because based on the results of a survey of 4 home tailors in Sumber Baru Village, they did not yet know how to utilize patchwork waste. The method used is to educate the dangers of inorganic waste and provide training in the treatment of inorganic waste from patchwork to the community. Based on the results of these activities the community becomes concerned about the environment by treating patchwork inorganic waste into skills that have value and economic value, such as brooches and bandanas.

Abstract

Program rintisan INOVASI Kemitraan Australia Indonesia menggandeng beberapa Perguruan Tinggi di NTB bekerjasama dengan Kemendikbud, Pemprov NTB, dan Australian Government menyasar 25 sekolah mitra tingkat SD di kabupaten Lombok Utara dan Sumbawa. Tujuan kegiatan PKM untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran guru-guru SD di kabupaten Lombok Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah workshop, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah 1) peserta memahami teknik mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar siswa dan identifikasi aspirasi siswa, 2) peserta memahami cara menganalisis kesulitan belajar siswa, 3) peserta dapat merancang perangakat pembelajaran berdasarakan kesulitan belajar siswa, dan 4) peserta  dapat mengimplementasikan perangkat pemebelajaran yang telah dirancang. Kegiatan pendampingan perlu dilakukan secara kontinu agar guru-guru BAIK benar-benar dapat mengimplemetasikan visi dan misi dari guru BAIK.Teacher Assistance BAIK (Learning, Aspirational, Inclusive, and Contextual)AbstractThe Indonesia Indonesia Partnership INNOVATION pilot program has partnered with several Universities in NTB in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture, the NTB Provincial Government and the Australian Government targeting 25 elementary level partner schools in North Lombok and Sumbawa districts. The purpose of PKM activities is to improve the quality of learning of elementary school teachers in North Lombok district. The methods used in this activity are workshops, training and mentoring. The results of this activity are 1) participants understand the techniques of identifying student learning difficulties and identification of students' aspirations, 2) participants understand how to analyze student learning difficulties, 3) participants can design learning tools based on student learning difficulties, and 4) participants can implement learning tools that are has been designed. Mentoring activities need to be carried out continuously so that BAIK teachers can really implement the vision and mission of BAIK teachers.

Abstract

Jumlah Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) yang banyak bisa menjadi sumber daya manusia yang potensial dalam membangun perekonomian keluarga dan daerah. Tetapi sebagian besar IRT tidak memiliki keterampilan untuk berwirausaha. Oleh karena itu, tim melakukan upaya pemberdayaan IRT melalui kewirausahaan sabun piring cair. Tujuan kegiatan ini ada dua, yakni memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan membuat sabun piring cair kepada IRT  serta meningkatkan minat IRT untuk berwirausaha. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Gondang Kabupaten Lombok Utara dan diikuti oleh 24 orang IRT. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan. Metode PRA (Participatori Rural Appraisal) dengan tahapan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan.  Tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan ini diukur berdasarkan respon IRT dan hasil penjualan produk. Selama satu bulan pemberdayaan IRT di Desa Gondang telah berhasil dilaksanakan. Para IRT telah mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat sabun cair piring. Selain itu, IRT semakin termotivasi untuk berwirausaha sabun piring cair. Antusias peserta terlihat dari awal sampai akhir kegiatan. Selain itu, penjualan sabun piring cair sudah terlihat dapat meningkatkan pendapatan IRT.Empowerment of Housewives Through Liquid Dish Soap Entrepreneurship. AbstractThe large number of housewives (IRT) can be a potential human resource in developing the family and regional economy. But most IRTs do not have the skills to entrepreneurship. Therefore, the team made efforts to empower IRT through liquid soap dish entrepreneurship. The purpose of this activity is twofold, namely providing knowledge and skills to make liquid dish soap to the IRT and increasing IRT's interest in entrepreneurship. This activity was carried out in Gondang Village, North Lombok Regency and attended by 24 IRT people. The method of implementation uses. PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method with stages of counseling, training, and mentoring. The success rate of this activity is measured based on IRT responses and the results of product sales. For one month the empowerment of the IRT in Gondang Village was successfully carried out. The IRT has gained knowledge and skills in making liquid dish soap. In addition, IRTs are increasingly motivated to become entrepreneurs through liquid dish soap. Enthusiastic participants were seen from the beginning to the end of the activity. In addition, the sale of liquid dish soap has been seen to increase IRT revenue.
