Abstract

The phenomenon of quarter-life crisis (QLC) is increasingly experienced by Generation Z, characterized by excessive anxiety, identity uncertainty, career pressure, and failure to achieve life targets at the age of 20–30 years. Conventional psychological approaches often only touch cognitive-behavioral aspects without reaching the spiritual dimension that is fundamental for the Muslim generation. This article aims to examine the integration of tazkiyatun nafs values (soul purification) within the framework of dakwah nafsiyah (self-directed da'wah) as an alternative holistic approach in dealing with QLC in Gen Z. This research uses a library research method by analyzing various primary sources in the form of Sufism books, scientific journal articles related to QLC and Islamic psychology, as well as data on the characteristics of Gen Z. The analysis technique used is qualitative content analysis with a descriptive-interpretative approach. The results show that tazkiyatun nafs values such as muhasabah (self-introspection), mujahadah (striving against lust), taubat (returning to Allah), and tawakkal (surrender to Allah) can be systematically integrated through the dakwah nafsiyah method consisting of ta'aruf (knowing oneself and Allah), tawajjuh (directing the heart to Allah), and tathbiq (application of values in daily life). This integration has proven to reduce existential anxiety levels, increase spiritual resilience, and form a God-based mindset in Gen Z. In conclusion, dakwah nafsiyah based on tazkiyatun nafs offers a comprehensive solution that not only cures QLC symptoms but also builds a strong Islamic personality foundation. This research recommends the need to develop structured dakwah nafsiyah intervention programs for the young Muslim generation.

Abstract

The phenomenon of da'wah commodification in the contemporary era has shifted the orientation of religious messaging from spiritual education to market-oriented popular culture commodities. This has significantly impacted the degradation of da'wah quality and the emergence of popular preachers (da'i) who often lack adequate scholarly authority. This study aims to analyze the urgency and implementation of the da'i standardization program by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) as a strategy for reconstructing pulpit professionalism amidst the wave of religious commercialization. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, supported by data collection through literature studies and document analysis of MUI's official guidelines and contemporary religious discourses. The results indicate that MUI's da'i standardization functions effectively as a quality control mechanism to restore religious authority based on scholarly lineage (sanad), da'wah ethics, and national insight. This program offers an antithesis to the industrialization of religion by mandating basic competencies and a comprehensive understanding of Islam Wasathiyah (moderate Islam). In conclusion, the da'i standardization policy is not a form of restricting freedom of expression, but rather an essential mitigation measure in reconstructing preacher professionalism. This step is crucial to safeguard the dignity of the pulpit from pragmatic commodification practices while protecting the ummah (Muslim community) from potential misinformation and religious polarization.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the internalization of Islamic values in the development of a love-based curriculum as an effort to form the character of students who are religious, humanist, and noble in character. The research uses a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained through the study of various literature sources in the form of books, scientific journal articles, academic documents, and relevant previous research results. Data analysis is carried out through the process of identification, classification, interpretation, and synthesis of concepts related to the internalization of Islamic values and love-based curriculum. The results of the study show that the internalization of Islamic values is a process of value transformation that includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects through the stages of value transformation, value transactions, and value transinternalization. The love-based curriculum is in accordance with the Islamic education paradigm which is based on the principle of rahmatan lil 'alamin, by placing compassion, empathy, example, and humanist learning as the foundation of education. The integration of Islamic values in the love-based curriculum is carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning that is oriented towards strengthening character. The implementation of a love-based curriculum has implications for increasing spiritual awareness, religiosity, social empathy, moderation, and the creation of a harmonious educational environment. Thus, a love-based curriculum can be an alternative to the development of Islamic education that is not only oriented to academic achievement, but also to the formation of students' character holistically.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling noble moral discipline among students, the forms of its implementation, and the supporting and inhibiting factors at SD Yapina Rancagoong Cianjur. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the principal, Islamic Religious Education teacher, and students. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that PAI teachers implement noble moral discipline through exemplary behavior, habituation of religious practices, advice, motivation, supearvision, and the application of rewards and punishments. The implementation of noble moral discipline is reflected in students' punctuality, worship discipline, learning discipline, responsibility, politeness, and compliance with school regulations. Supporting factors include teacher role models, religious habituation programs, principal support, collaboration between school and parents, and a religious school environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include lack of parental supervision at home, peer influence, excessive gadget use, differences in students' backgrounds and characteristics, and limited instructional time. The study concludes that the successful cultivation of noble moral discipline requires synergy among teachers, schools, families, and the social environment through continuous and consistent character-building efforts.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media has transformed the dissemination of Islamic preaching (da'wah), particularly in delivering contemporary women's jurisprudence (fiqh) content. This study aims to analyze the profile of Jahidah Farhati's Instagram account as an Al-Azhar University student, examine the typology and accuracy of her women's fiqh content, and explore its role in promoting Islamic legal literacy among Muslim women in the digital sphere. This research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis. Data were collected through documentation of Instagram Reels, account profiles, video transcripts, and relevant literature, including the Qur'an, Hadith, classical Islamic texts (turats), contemporary fatwas, books, and scholarly journals. The findings reveal that Jahidah Farhati has successfully developed a digital da'wah model that integrates Islamic scholarly authority with engaging digital communication strategies. Her content is firmly grounded in authentic Islamic legal sources, contextually relevant, and responsive to contemporary women's fiqh issues. Furthermore, the use of Instagram Reels has proven effective in enhancing women's fiqh literacy, encouraging the practice of tabayyun (information verification), and strengthening women's religious authority in the digital space. This study concludes that integrating sound Islamic scholarship with effective social media utilization represents a strategic and impactful approach to Islamic preaching in the digital era.

Abstract

Indonesia's sharia capital market has developed from an alternative investment channel into a regulated ecosystem that combines market infrastructure, legal certainty, and sharia compliance. This article examines the evolution of the Indonesian sharia capital market, its legal architecture, major instruments, and the emerging role of the Sharia Gold Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). The study uses a qualitative library-research design. Regulatory documents issued by the Financial Services Authority, the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulama Council, the Indonesia Stock Exchange, statutes, and relevant scholarly publications were analysed thematically. The synthesis shows that sharia compliance is maintained through the screening of issuers and underlying assets, the use of permissible contracts, transaction restrictions, and institutional oversight. Sharia shares, sukuk, sharia mutual funds, asset-backed securities, and sharia ETFs apply these controls in different ways. The Sharia Gold ETF adds a distinctive layer of protection by requiring physically available gold, segregated custody, equivalence between gold weight and creation units, and specified contracts for primary and secondary-market transactions. The article argues that innovation in Sharia products should be matched by transparent disclosure, effective custody control, investor literacy, and risk communication. These elements are essential to preserve market integrity while widening access to value-based investment.

Abstract

The younger generation faces significant challenges regarding engagement in religious activities during the digital era. This study aims to analyze the role of *dakwah* (Islamic outreach) communication management in enhancing youth engagement through social media and in-person lectures. Employing a literature review and empirical analysis—specifically a case study of a modern Indonesian *dakwah* organization—the research identifies effective communication strategies. Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) theory and Stakeholder Engagement Theory serve as the analytical framework. The results demonstrate that a combination of social media strategies (interactive content, storytelling, and two-way engagement) and in-person lectures (personal approaches, contextual relevance, and community building) significantly boosts youth engagement in religious activities. Key findings indicate that structured *dakwah* communication management, adapted to the media preferences of the younger generation, offers an effective solution. This study provides practical contributions for *dakwah* organizations and serves as an academic reference for future research on contemporary *dakwah* communication.
