Sukacita : Jurnal Pendidikan Iman Kristen, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia, adalah sebuah terbitan akademik yang menyoroti peran pendidikan iman Kristen dalam membentuk dan memperkuat iman individu dan komunitas Kristen. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi wadah bagi para akademisi, pemimpin gereja, pendidik, dan praktisi Kristen untuk berbagi pemikiran, pengalaman, serta penelitian dalam upaya memperdalam pemahaman dan praktik pendidikan iman Kristen. Setiap edisi jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel yang mendalam tentang berbagai aspek penting dalam pendidikan iman Kristen, mulai dari penerapan prinsip-prinsip ajaran Kristen dalam pengajaran, pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan iman, hingga penerapan praktik spiritual dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract

This research aims to explore and understand the role and duties of the Parish Pastoral Council in pastoral care and Church service in the Catholic Church. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques using documentary research, observation, documents and interviews. The data obtained was analyzed qualitatively through data analysis techniques. Research steps include conversations with informants, creating informant profiles, identifying themes, reflections, implications, synthesis, perspectives, or possibilities that will emerge. In order for the parish to grow and develop, we hope to help everyone to be more active, especially those who are on a journey of service and visits, so that their faith and hope become stronger and achieve eternal salvation, so that they better understand the meaning of the Parish. content of the teachings of the Catholic Church. The results obtained from this research show that the parish pastoral council, especially in the Parish of Saint-Pierre and Paul Ampah, really plays a very important role and that the parish pastoral council is very much needed in parishes, especially in parish pastoral services. Abstract

The background to writing this thesis was complaints from priests, catechists, and the young generation themselves (OMK) about the lack of knowledge and understanding of the younger generation regarding the value of the responsibilities they carry. The aim of writing this thesis is to help the young generation of Catholics (OMK) understand their duties and responsibilities as members of the Church. Apart from that, this research also aims to help pastors understand and recognize the problems faced by young people. In analyzing the problem, the author uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. By using this phenomenological approach, the author tries to analyze and interpret the personal experiences of the informants regarding the importance of the value of youth responsibility in the life of the Rantau Pulut Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish church. Data collection in this research used observation, interview and note-taking techniques. In this research, the author found that the majority of young Catholics in the Rantau Pulut Parish have not fully participated in the life of the Church. This is due to a lack of motivation and encouragement from parents and pastors. As the spearhead of youth mobilization, pastoral workers are an important element in support and guidance so that young people are encouraged to participate in Church activities.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Dayak Ngaju Catholic community views the Sangiang ritual, how the Ngaju Dayak Catholic community appreciates the sacrament of anointing the sick and the implementation of the sacrament of anointing. ? in Ngaju Dayak culture. So. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Data was collected through interviews, observations and notes. The data obtained was analyzed following the steps of Miles and Huberman, namely reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the Ngaju Dayak people recognize the sangiang ritual as a healing ritual in their culture. And people know that the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick in the Catholic Church is one of the sacraments that prays for sick people to be given strength so they can overcome all illnesses with God's help. This conclusion shows that the sangiang ritual has a socially oriented dimension and makes people aware that living together requires a sense of mutual care. The values contained in the Sangiang ritual are the values of community and brotherhood. The presence of the Church in this culture is the starting point for proclaiming the Kingdom of God, especially by ensuring that the catechism is linked to the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, because it is God who acts for healing, especially during the sangang ceremony.

Abstract

Opening a Catholic Religious Education (PAK) class for blind children is not an easy thing. Teachers have the capacity and ability to handle children with special needs such as the blind. The research entitled The Role of Catholic Religious Education Teachers at Karya Murni Special School (SLB-A) Medan was carried out with the aim of understanding the role of Catholic religious education teachers at Karya Murni Special School (SLB). Medan. by providing Catholic religious education to blind students. In this research the author used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques combined with interview methods with school participation, specifically: Principal, two Catholic religious education teachers, two Catholic religious education teachers and six blind students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the role of parents as liaison in the Luwuk Stasi family, Bunter Stasi Parish. Joan Don Bosco Sampit. In this research, parents become the main teachers in the family to strengthen the relationship between children and parents through good and smooth communication. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documents. The data analysis technique for this research uses the Miles and Huberman analysis technique which is divided into three stages, namely data reduction, data visualization (data research), and drawing conclusions/verification (drawing conclusions). The informants used in this research were 5 parents and 4 children. The results obtained from the research conducted by the author show that the role of parents in supporting family relationships at Luwuk Bunter Station is carried out well. A parent's role as a school principal is often to provide feedback and guidance to their children, such as encouraging them to pursue their dreams.

Abstract

No individual chooses to be born into a specific family or under certain conditions. Differences in socioeconomic conditions will always exist in society, leading to the formation of various groups at any time and place. When a teenager is born into a family with a different socioeconomic background, it can cause pressure due to feelings of inferiority, embarrassment, and even jealousy, as socioeconomic status impacts their life and education. Every child has the right to education. The cost of education is a challenge for those in vulnerable socioeconomic conditions. The issues they face are not just economic but also social in nature. Fostering Christ-like character should be a focus in Christian education, especially for adolescents. Adolescence is a vulnerable and complex stage with issues and conflicts related to self-image, values, ethics, and morality. Teenagers need proper guidance and teaching to grow into strong individuals with a Christ-like character and resilience in their lives. Economic issues are indeed related to education. However, there remains an open path to educate adolescents according to their needs. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Abstract

The spiritual curriculum must be structured as well as possible so that it can fulfill every need that students need to support their spiritual growth so that students can grow more mature in accordance with biblical teachings.The purpose of this research is to find out whether the implementation of the spiritual curriculum applied in class devotion, level devotion, and YouthinC2 affects the spiritual / character growth of students at SMK Kristen Terang Bangsa so that it can find the right implementation for the right curriculum that can be applied, it is hoped that there will be adjustments to the implementation of the spiritual curriculum at SMK Kristen Terang Bangsa. The population in this study were students of SMK Kristen Terang Bangsa in grades XI, XII, and alumni along with class pastors and teachers for the 2023-2024 school year and the 2024-2025 school year. Implementing the spiritual curriculum applied in class devotion, level devotion, and YouthinC2 has a positive effect on the spiritual growth/ character of Terang Bangsa school students.

Abstract

Spiritual growth of Youth is the process of growing in size or growing in the spirituality and context of Christianity. Spiritual growth involves trying to guide individuals who do not yet have a personal attachment to Jesus Christ toward a connection with Him, so that they can become part of God's responsible community [Latif Helen Farida, "The Influence of Teaching and Fellowship on the Spiritual Growth of Children and Adolescents," Christian Theology and Ministry (2017), 120.]. Rotto Marinus, means that spiritual growth is to provide teaching in the truth of God's word which is sown through teaching and fellowship. Therefore, in the context of pastoral ministry, a pastor of the congregation needs to teach the truth of God's word to Youth members. The pastor of the congregation plays a role in encouraging all members of the Youth to increase their spiritual growth. Good spiritual growth is greatly appreciated by Christ Jesus through His words. This study aims to explain the role of pastoral ministry on the spiritual growth of youth in the Church of the Indonesia Christian Church, Gospel of the Majapahit Satellite Kingdom, Semarang. To answer the problems and objectives of the research, qualitative research methods are used by applying data collection. The result of the research to be achieved is that the pastor of the church as a spiritual leader who plays an intense role in order to be able to increase the spiritual growth of youth well according to the teachings of Jesus in His word.

Abstract

This research examines Judges 2:1-5 through a historically critical lens to explain their theological implications and relevance to contemporary audiences. The Book of Judges summarizes a pivotal period in Israel's historical narrative as they sought to defend their faith in the face of foreign cultural influences. This passage describes the warning of the Archangel of God to Israel for their failure to expel the Canaanites from the Promised Land, which had a detrimental effect on their religious and social dynamics. This analysis investigates historical context, literary composition, and symbolic elements, while also emphasizing central themes such as obedience to divine command, the impact of transgression, and the need for repentance. Using qualitative methodologies, including literary analysis and exegetical scrutiny, this study shows that loyalty to God is a prerequisite for receiving His help, while disobedience entails oppression and harmful influence. The continued relevance of this text serves as a poignant reminder of the necessity of upholding unwavering devotion to God in the midst of life's vicissitudes.

Abstract

This article delves deeply into the concept of Spiritual Restoration and Community: Rebuilding the Foundation of Life, with a focus on the text of Ezra 3:8-13. This research aims to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how the Israelites were interconnected in reaffirming the restoration of life through the reconstruction of the foundation of the Israelite nation. The research methods employed include biblical text analysis, historical studies, and an exposition of the cultural context of the time. The research findings provide a rich and complex perspective on the role of Ezra as a channel of God's will in restoring and guiding His people.
