Abstract

This study examines the effects of rainfall, MOP (KCl) fertilizer, HGFB (Boron) fertilizer, and their interactions on oil palm production at Tabah Estate, Riau. The research was carried out from May to July 2025 using simple and multiple linear regression. Results show that rainfall increases tons per hectare and first-semester bunch weight but reduces bunch number. MOP and HGFB fertilizers positively affect bunch weight but negatively affect production and bunch number. Their interaction significantly influences second-semester bunch weight and highly influences bunch number in both semesters. These findings highlight that oil palm productivity depends on combined climatic and fertilization factors, emphasizing the need for fertilizer adjustments aligned with rainfall patterns.

Abstract

Using Avocado (Persea americana Mill.) is a strategic horticultural commodity with high economic value and promising market prospects. Vegetative propagation through stem cuttings is the preferred method for producing quality seedlings, but requires optimization of growth hormone application and appropriate planting material dimensions. This study aimed to analyze the effects of Auxin application and cutting length variation on avocado seedling development. The research used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) factorial with two factors and three replications. The first factor was Auksin concentration (A? = control, A? = 200 mg 5ml-1, A? = 250 mg 5ml-1, A? = 300 mg 5ml-1). The second factor was cutting length dimension (B? = 15 cm, B? = 20 cm, B? = 25 cm). Variables evaluated included shoot formation success rate, leaf quantity, and number of shoots per sample unit. Variance analysis showed that Auxin application and cutting dimension variation did not provide significant effects on all observation variables. The interaction between both factors also showed no statistically significant effect. Suboptimal microclimatic conditions throughout the research period were estimated to be the dominant factor affecting treatment response.

Abstract

Shallots, or in its Latin name is Allium ascalonicum L is a type of bulb that is often used as a cooking spice, especially those originating from Southeast Asia. At the same time, it is also an important vegetable horticultural commodity because it is very necessary for household consumption and the food industry. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the application of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer and chicken manure on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L). A Factorial Randomized Block Design was chosen in the study with the provision of two factors studied and three replications. The two factors are the application of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer (F) at three levels (F0 = control, F1 = 40 g plot-1, and F2 = 80 g plot-1), and the application of chicken manure (K) as the second factor with four levels (K0 = control, K1 = 0.75 kg plot-1, K2 = 1.5 kg plot-1, and K3 = 2.25 kg plot-1). The parameters assessed included plant height (cm), number of tillers per sample, number of tubers per sample, number of tubers per plot, tuber weight per sample, and tuber weight per plot. The results showed that the use of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer did not significantly affect any of the parameters measured. Similarly, the use of chicken manure did not significantly impact any of the observed parameters. In fact, the interaction between the use of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 and chicken manure did not significantly affect any of the observed parameters.

Abstract

The purposelly this research was to established the impact towards of Ab Mix nutrition also urea fertilizer and interaction towardstwo fertilizers towards growth of pakcoy plants. This study was using Factorial Randomized Block Design within 2 factors study also3 replications, which is first aspect was ab mix nutrition (A) when incluing toward 3 levels, are A0 = Control, A1 = 4 ml liter-1 of water plot-1, A2 = 8 ml liter-1 of water plot-1. The second aspect using urea fertilizer (U) when including toward f 4 levels, are U0 = Control, U1 = 3.6 g liter-1 of water plot-1, U2 = 5.4 g liter-1 of water plot-1, U3 = 7.2 g liter-1 of water plot-1. The parameters observing are plant that height (cm), leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), plant leaf area (cm2), pakcoy weight per sample (g) alsopakcoy weight per plot (g). The yields was shown that AB Mix nutrition significan impact toward plant height, leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, pak choy weight per sample, also pak choy weight per plot. Urea fertilizer established significant impact pak choy weight per sample also pak choy weight per plot, however has no significant impact towards plant height, leaf length, leaf width, also leaf area. The interaction among AB Mix nutrition and urea fertilizer has no significant impact towards whole oberseve parameters.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Chicken Manure and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) Fish Waste as well as the interaction of Chicken Manure and POC Fish Waste on the Growth and Production of Peanut Plants (Arachis Hypogeae L.). This research was conducted on Jalan Tuntungan II, Pancur Batu District, North Sumatra Province, from April to July 2025. This research used a Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors studied and 3 replications where the first factor was chicken manure (K) consisting of 3 levels, namely K0 = (Control), K1 = (1 kg plot-1), K2 = (2 kg plot-1). The second factor was fish waste POC (I) consisting of 4 levels, namely I0 = (Control), I1 = (50 ml L-1 water per plot), I2 = (100 ml L-1 water per plot), I3 = (150 ml L-1 water per plot). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), flowering days (days), number of pods per sample (pods), number of pods per plot (pods), pod weight per sample (g) and pod weight per plot (g). The results of the study showed that the provision of chicken manure, fish waste POC and the interaction of the two treatments had no significant effect on all parameters of plant height (cm), flowering days (days), number of pods per sample (pods), number of pods per plot (pods), pod weight per sample (g), pod weight per plot (pods).

Abstract

Pakcoy is a type of green vegetable that is still in the same group as mustard greens. Pakcoy mustard greens are also often called spoon mustard greens because their shape resembles a spoon. To improve pakcoy plants there are several things that must be considered such as fertilizer application. This study aims to determine the effect of Pgpr from bamboo roots and Em4 and the interaction of the two fertilizers on the growth and production of pakcoy plants (Brassica rapa chineensi L). The study was conducted on Jl. Tuntungan 1, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. From April to May 2025. This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design method with 2 factors studied and 3 replications. The first variable is Pgpr From Bamboo Roots (P) which has four levels, namely P0 (Control), P1 (150 ml plot-1), P2 (300 ml plot-1), P3 (450 ml plot-1). The second variable was EM4 (E), which consisted of three levels: E0 (Control), E? (10 ml liter-1 of water plot-1), and E2 (15 ml liter-1 of water plot-1). Observed parameters included plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaflets), root volume (ml), weight per sample (g), and weight per plot (g). The results showed that the administration of Pgpr from bamboo roots and Em4 had no significant effect on all observed parameters: plant height increase, leaf number increase, root volume increase, plant weight increase/sample, and plant weight increase/plot

Abstract

Corn has the potential to perform various functions, such as producing food, animal feed, and raw materials for various industries, making it a leading agribusiness commodity. In an effort to improve farmers' income and welfare through the application of technology, production, and post-harvest management, it is crucial to understand and understand the prospects for commercial-scale corn cultivation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of Chicken Manure and ZPT Jimmy Hantu on the growth and production of sweet corn plants (Zea mays saccharata L Sturt.). This study employed a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The analytical method used to draw conclusions was derived from data analysis conducted using a mathematical linear model. The results of the study show that 1). Chicken manure had a significant impact on plant height, leaf area, cob length with husk, and cob diameter; however, it had no significant impact on cob weight with husk per sample and plot. 2). The administration of ZPT jimmy hantu has an unreal effect on all observed parameters. 3). The interaction between chicken manure and plant fertilizer significantly affected plant height, leaf area, cob length, and cob diameter. However, this effect was not significant for cob weight per sample and plot, or the Jimmy Hantu plant growth regulator (PGR).

Abstract

This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors studied and 3 replications where the first factor was goat manure (K) which consisted of 4 levels, namely K0 = (No Treatment), K1 = (1.5kg plot-1), K2 = (3kg plot-1). The second factor was mycorrhiza (M) which consisted of 3 levels, namely M0 = (No Treatment), M1 = (5g plant-1), M2 = (7.5g plant-1), M3 = (10g plant-1). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of pods containing per sample plant (pod), root volume per sample (ml), longest root length per sample (cm), weight of pods containing per plot (g), and weight of pods containing per sample plant (g). The results showed that the provision of goat manure had a very significant effect on the parameters of root volume per sample, the longest root length per sample, the number of filled pods per sample, the weight of filled pods per sample, and had a significant effect on the parameter of the weight of filled pods per plot. But it had no significant effect on the parameter of plant height. The provision of mycorrhiza had no significant effect on all observed parameters. The interaction of the provision of goat manure and mycorrhiza did not have a significant effect on all observed parameters.

This study aims to determine the effect of goat manure and urea fertilizer and the interaction of the two fertilizers on the growth and production of pakcoy plants (Brassica rapa chineensi L). The study was conducted on Jl. Tuntungan II, Pancur Batu District, North Sumatra Province, from April to May 2024. The results showed that the provision of goat manure had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area, but had no significant effect on weight per sample and weight per plot. The provision of urea fertilizer had no significant effect on all observed parameters. The interaction of goat manure and urea fertilizer had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, weight per sample, and weight per plot.
