Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Unnes Prigel program using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The research method employed is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires, supported by interviews. The study population includes students of the Beauty Education Study Program at UNNES who have participated in the Unnes Prigel program, the Unnes Prigel Program Coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering UNNES, and Prigel industry partners. The results show that in terms of Context, the Unnes Prigel program has goals aligned with the needs of the beauty industry and supports the MBKM policy, although some challenges remain in its implementation. Regarding Input, student preparedness, lecturer involvement, and industry support are relatively good, though issues persist in course recognition regulations and facility limitations. In the Processaspect, the program runs quite effectively, but there are still obstacles in communication and coordination between the university and industry. In the Product aspect, the program provides significant benefits in improving students' technical (hard skills) and non-technical (soft skills) abilities, although there is still feedback related to the evaluation system and the sustainability monitoring of the program. The conclusion of this research is that the Unnes Prigel program has had a positive impact on preparing students for the workforce but still requires improvement in regulation, coordination, and program evaluation aspects.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the understanding of teachers’ professional ethics from philosophical and educational perspectives using a qualitative approach. Teachers’ professional ethics serve as a moral foundation that guides professional behavior and decision-making within the educational context. Through philosophical analysis, this study explores the theoretical foundations of teachers’ professional ethics derived from normative ethics, applied ethics, and educational philosophy. The research employed a qualitative method using document analysis, literature review, and hermeneutic interpretation of various primary and secondary sources. The findings indicate that teachers’ professional ethics are not only related to technical teaching competence but also encompass moral integrity, social responsibility, and commitment to students’ character development. The philosophical perspective reveals that teachers’ professional ethics are rooted in philosophical traditions that value wisdom, justice, and virtue as fundamental principles in the educational process. The practical implications of this study contribute to the development of teacher education curricula, the formulation of professional codes of ethics, and the improvement of learning quality in educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the automotive air conditioning (AC) maintenance competency of students at SMK Al Asror, in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) vocational program. The research method employed is a development research approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the analysis phase, the researcher identified a lack of facilities and infrastructure as a key factor contributing to students’ low competency scores. During the design phase, a maintenance module was developed based on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI). The development phase involved validation testing by subject matter experts and media experts, who provided input for revisions. This study was conducted at SMK Al Asror Semarang, with a total population of 29 students, all of whom were used as the research sample. A pre-vocational competency test (pretest) was conducted before the intervention, followed by a posttest after the intervention. The practicality of the module was also analyzed based on aspects such as ease of use, clarity, design, usefulness, and relevance. In the final evaluation stage, a practical competency test in automotive AC maintenance was conducted with external assessors from industry partners. The findings indicate that the use of the maintenance module is effective in enhancing students' competency in automotive AC maintenance.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology in the digital era opens opportunities for developing innovative learning media, including in vocational high schools (SMK). However, conventional methods such as lectures and limited media usage still dominate, resulting in low student participation and understanding. The hair layering technique material in the beauty program requires a visual approach. This study used a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design to examine the effect of e-infographic media on the cognitive learning outcomes of 11th-grade students at SMK Negeri 6 Semarang. The analysis results showed no significant difference in the pretest (p=0.343), but a significant improvement in the posttest (p=0.011), proving that e-infographic media effectively enhances learning outcomes with engaging and easy-to-understand visualizations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of UNNES Lantip learning outcomes on the pedagogical competence of Culinary Education students at UNNES class of 2021. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study includes all 2021 students who participated in the UNNES Lantip program, with a total sample of 75 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a pedagogical competence questionnaire using a Likert scale and documentation of the final Lantip scores. Data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS 25. The results show a positive and significant effect of UNNES Lantip learning outcomes on students' pedagogical competence, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.621. This means that 62.1% of the variation in pedagogical competence can be explained by the UNNES Lantip learning outcomes. These findings indicate that students who achieve high learning outcomes in the Lantip program tend to have better pedagogical abilities, particularly in lesson planning, implementation, evaluation, and student potential development. Therefore, the UNNES Lantip learning outcomes can be said to significantly contribute to shaping the pedagogical competence of students as future professional teachers..

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Indonesian Teachers Association (Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia/PGRI) in strengthening teachers’ professional competence at the regional level. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews with administrators of the PGRI Special Region of Yogyakarta, as well as organizational document analysis. The findings indicate that PGRI plays its role through continuous training programs, the strengthening of teacher learning communities, mentoring in the development of instructional materials, and advocacy for teachers’ welfare and professional protection. However, the optimization of this role still faces obstacles, including variations in members’ levels of participation, limited funding, and uneven dissemination of program information across educational institutions. These findings underscore the need for strategies to strengthen internal coordination structures and to design more targeted competency development programs that are based on teachers’ needs.
