Abstract

Education is a strategic sector influenced by various dimensions, including social, economic, cultural, and political. Education policy plays a crucial role in determining the direction, quality, and equity of education services. This study aims to examine education policy analysis through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the PRISMA method. Data were collected from articles in Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish 8 application, resulting in 100 articles, which were selected into nine relevant articles. The results indicate that education policy analysis has not been fully optimized in its implementation. Some of the main challenges identified include a lack of resources, weak implementation strategies, unclear policy visions, and mismatches between central policies and local conditions. Policy analysis encompasses the processes of problem identification, data collection, alternative formulation, and policy evaluation.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges and structural intricacies of sustainable development in the Global South, with an emphasis on Brazil, India, and South Africa. Although these nations have considerable renewable energy potential and natural resources, their green development paths are inconsistent due to ongoing governance deficiencies, policy discrepancies, and socio-economic inequalities. The research employs a qualitative comparative approach to illustrate how external demands from the global green movement, mostly influenced by Global North agendas, frequently conflict with local realities, hence strengthening reliance and constraining developmental autonomy. The results indicate that although there are advancements in renewable energy adoption and conservation policy, the overall green transition is hindered by institutional fragmentation and the historical legacies of extractivism. Therefore, the green development in the Global South necessitates a reevaluation of global sustainability frameworks to align with regional contexts and aspirations. The study enhances current discussions by providing a refined comprehension of structural imbalances in global environmental governance.

Abstract

The halal industry is experiencing rapid growth along with the increasing demand for halal products in domestic and international markets. The government plays a strategic role in creating a conducive ecosystem through supportive regulations and policies, such as halal certification standards, incentives for business actors, and product quality control. However, the effectiveness of these regulations and policies in encouraging the development of the halal industry still requires in-depth analysis. This study uses a systematic literature review method with the PRISMA model to examine the latest literature related to government regulations and policies in the development of the halal industry. The literature search was conducted in the Google Scholar database with a period of 2020–2025 and relevant keywords. The review results indicate that clear and integrated halal certification standards increase consumer trust and expand market access, while incentive policies and strengthening certification bodies encourage innovation and business growth. However, implementation challenges such as lack of coordination between institutions and differences in certification standards between countries still hamper the optimal development of the halal industry. This study identifies conceptual and practical gaps in the literature that need to be addressed to strengthen the halal industry ecosystem sustainably. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of more effective policies to support the growth of the halal industry and enhance the competitiveness of halal products in the global market.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Teungku Chik Muhammad Amin in integrating Islamic education with the struggle against Dutch colonialism in Aceh through Dayah Cot Kala. The lack of specific studies on the integration of education and struggle during the war in Aceh is the purpose of this research, so that this research can complement the previous study on Teungku Chik Muhammad Amin. This study aims to analyze the role of Teungku Chik Muhammad Amin who has combined the teaching of religious science with resistance strategies and formed socio-political awareness among students. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to collect and analyze relevant literature in a systematic manner. The results show that Teungku Chik Muhammad Amin succeeded in instilling the value of jihad and fighting spirit, trained military tactics, and built the character of socio-politically conscious scholars-fighters, making education in dayah a strategic base for the resistance of the Acehnese people. Therefore, it can be concluded that the integration of education and struggle made an important contribution to the history of Islamic education and the resistance of Aceh.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic philosophy in addressing contemporary challenges faced by Muslim societies, particularly in relation to secularism, Western rationalism, globalization, and technological development. Although Islamic philosophy has a rich intellectual legacy in theology and metaphysics, its application to modern issues still faces inconsistencies, especially in integrating Islamic values with social realities and scientific progress. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research, with data analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Islamic philosophy has great potential to serve as an instrument of reform in Islamic education by developing methodologies relevant to modern issues and integrating ethical principles with scientific and technological advancements. This article argues that the revitalization of Islamic philosophy is necessary to ensure its adaptability to global challenges without neglecting the fundamental principles of Islam. Thus, this study enriches the academic discourse by providing a deeper understanding of the contribution of Islamic philosophy in integrating spiritual values with the demands of modern life.
