Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of information technology on education. This research is a literature study which is a type of qualitative research. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman analysis model, namely collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that information technology is man-made to help make it easier for humans to find and receive information, especially in the world of education. The benefits that can be felt with the existence of information technology are as follows: (1) To facilitate activities in school management; (2) As a medium of information in learning; (3) Assist and support development. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the concept of implementing the role of the PAI teacher in the formation of religious character, to describe the role of the PAI teacher in the formation of the religious character of students, this research uses a qualitative approach. Methods of collecting interview data and documentation sourced from secondary data. The results of the study 1) the role of the PAI teacher in shaping student character through classical, 2) the exemplary displayed by the PAI teacher through attitudes in the learning process, supervision, direction and motivation of the service process. The conclusion of this study is that the teacher's role in cultivating religious character has been maximized by using the role of educator as well as teaching by taking the time.

Abstract

The use of information technology in learning can certainly be done with various educational programs. As is the case in learning Islamic Religious Education, where in this case the role of media technology is also needed to get new learning and insights for students. However, this also needs to be juxtaposed with the participation of teachers or lecturers who assist students in using information technology media as an effective learning medium. Especially with the increasing ease of obtaining information and communicating which will have an impact on religious differences that can trigger differences in understanding for every world community. Thus, the role of teachers or lecturers has an important role in the use of information technology for learning activities. Where the abilities and expertise of a teacher or lecturer need to be optimized in the use of information technology as an effective learning medium for students. In this regard, the author would like to elaborate a discussion related to the optimal use of information technology in Islamic Religious Education learning activities through the approach of literature study research methods and descriptive methods. With research that discusses this matter, it is hoped that it can help and make it easier for teachers to direct students in achieving learning goals.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the problems regarding the use of the veil in the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, especially in the Faculty of Islamic Religion. Regarding the technical information retrieval, the authors sent questionnaire data to individuals related to the research. Based on the results of the study, there are many things behind female students in using the veil. That is based on the Qur'an surah Al Ahzab verse 59 Allah SWT. said that it is obligatory for Muslim women to extend the veil over their bodies to avoid the fitna of the world and they also interpret the veil as a safeguard against themselves. Regarding the use of this veil, not a few agencies stand on the contra side. Especially on campus. At the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, students who wear the niqab are advised not to wear the veil when they are on campus. This is based on the context of Muhammadiyah which argues that there is no recommendation for Muslim women to wear the veil. Because of this statement, veil users feel that they are limited in carrying out activities in the campus environment.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of teaching fiqh using lecture and practice methods at Ar Rahman Middle School. Even this research was carried out only within the scope of certain classes, namely class VII, VIII, and IX. The researcher also wanted to know which method had more influence on the learning outcomes of SMP Ar Rahman students and which method was preferred by the students. The researcher used a quantitative research using a survey method. The quantitative method is a type of scientific research based on the philosophy of positivism. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observations. The results of our research show that the implementation of fiqh lessons for grades VII, VIII, and IX is carried out in one place and delivered by the same teacher, and is carried out in one place as well as one time. meeting in a week i.e. on Friday only. We see that the practical method has a greater influence on this learning compared to the lecture method. It is very important to learn fiqh from a young age in order to better understand the scientific disciplines that study and describe the basic legal norms regarding Islam and according to the Sunnah of the Prophet. Of course the hope of achieving this learning is that students can practice it in everyday life and it is hoped that it will continue to be embedded in students.
