Proceeding Maritime Business Management Conference (MBMC) diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Manajemen Bisnis, Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya. Dibutuhkannya branding program studi Manajemen Bisnis Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya atau dapat disingkat menjadi MB PPNS secara lebih luas sehingga harus menghasilkan sebuah program kerja yang dapat mengekspansi sebuah branding jangkauan yang lebih besar, yaitu dengan mengundang pembicara – pembicara handal di bidang Bisnis Maritim yang merupakan identitas MB PPNS kemudian dikemas dalam kegiatan Seminar Nasional guna memfasilitasi KMMB dalam hal publikasi tugas akhir. Dengan diadakannya kegiatan MBMC, diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan audience di bidang Bisnis dan Maritim dan dapat memperkenalkan MB PPNS secara lebih luas ke seluruh wilayah di Indonesia. Selain itu, diadakannya kegiatan Proceeding Maritime Business Management Conference (MBMC) , diharapkan dapat membantu proses penilaian akreditasi program studi Manajemen Bisnis Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya serta meningkatkan minat mahasiswa tingkat akhir untuk mempublikasikan Tugas Akhir. Abstract

Increasing the number of students preparing to continue their studies at tertiary institutions has caused public and private universities to compete in order to promote their campuses during the new student admissions period. One method that is commonly used is through digital promotional content to attract prospective superior students. Likewise, with the Universitas International Semen Indonesia, while being a relatively young private university, it is necessary to participate in promoting campus achievements and excellence through digital marketing promotional content which is an information medium that is currently popular in this era. The UISI marketing department realizes the need to always follow trends that are currently popular to attract the attention of prospective new students. With the increasing popularity of the 3D design style in the creative industries, this design style is expected to be able to support the visual quality of promotional content designed by UISI during the 2024 new student admission period. The research method of this thesis is qualitative research with narrative data presentation and refers to Branding design theory by Wheeler (2009) which consists of conducting research, clarifying strategy, designing identity, creating touchpoints, and managing assets. This research will help the marketing division of UISI to create exclusive assets that follow visual trends to gain highschoolers’ interests on UISI’s social media promotional content especially during the new student admissions.

Abstract

Lumpur Village, Gersik, is a coastal area that has a huge potential for marine products, and most of the population works as fishermen. Marine products are usually sold directly to middlemen, and only a small portion was processed. On the other hand, fishermen's wives could improve their economies by helping to process marine products and increase their value. Thus, the development of marine products needs to be carried out. The methods used to obtain suitable products are interviews, observation, market research, and financial feasibility analysis. Based on interviews and observations, Lumpur Village, Gresik has 25 kg/day of shrimp potential. Based on market research, the processed shrimp preferred by 32% of respondents are nuggets. The Shrimp nuggets business run by fishermen's wives will be using sales methods both direct and online. The financial feasibility analysis shows that the Net Present Value is positive, and the Payback Period is less than the project duration; hence, this business is feasible.

Abstract

The cooling system is a system that functions to maintain the engine temperature at a certain temperature in accordance with the specified design so that the diesel engine can operate continuously. For cooling of a diesel eninge. Fisherman Village of Ngimbo Village is a coastal area which is an area full of marine potential, the local community on average works as fisherman. This research was conducted using the interview method with fisherman, especially those who own boats. The questionnaire was addressed to 10 fisherman. The results of the study show that fisherman’s boats in Ngimbo Village use seawater cooling, in wich fisherman modify the cooling system of the Dongfeng brand diesel engine using a head exchanger for fishing motor boats aiming for cooling water temperatures in the 60°C - 90°C range and replacing the open cooling system method which are considered less efficient and have many negative impacts on the engine such as corrision and the temperature of the cooling water in the water jacket is brought to the specified standard. Special orecautions must be taken to accommodate open systems. For example, some engines can be equipped with an aftercooler as well as cleaning the core of the corrosion-resistant pipe. Aftercoolers from round tubes are designed lik fin plates and can be disassembled for cleaning, so they are ready for use in open systems.

Abstract

Container depots have various services, one of wich is Lift On/Lift Off (LOLO) activities. Problems at the Surabaya container depot are related to unstable lift on/lift off productivity and not achieving the set taegets. This study aims to analyze the influence of heavy equipment readiness, experiences and skills of reach stacker operators on lift on/ lift off productivity. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis techniques by distributing questionnaires. The samples used were 36 permanent employees. The results of this study show that the experience of the reach stacker operator has a significant effect on the productivity of the lift on/lift off, the more experience the operator has, the more competent he is in operating the equipment, while the readiness of the heavy equipment and the skills of the reach stacker operator do not have a significant effect on the productivity of the lift on/lift off. The calculated f value of 13.934 is greater than the f table of 2.892 so that the readiness of the heavy equipment, the experience and skills of the reach stacker operator simultaneously have a significant effect on the lift on/ lift off productivity.

Abstract

The business world is now increasingly competitive which requires business people to always be active in developing their business. A natural gas distribution company in Surabaya is one of the companies that must continue to exist in today’s business world. To attract customers, companies do many ways. One of them is adding a program called Gas Kita Pintar Residential (GPiR) which is aimed at household customers. In the courseof this program it can be seen that it tends to be stable and there has been a significant increase in subscribers. Thats indicates customer loyalty. Customer loyalty has three indicators there is customer value, customer satisfaction and customer trust. The aim of the research was find out how big contribution of the indicators is to the variables. The results of this study indicate that the three indicators show a fit match based on the goodness of fit criteria and all indicators that have the highest level of factor loading are Customer Trust. Then this study uses the Confirmatory Factor Analysis.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to test and analyze the influence of product quality on purchasing decisions which is moderated by marketing costs. The sample for this study uses food and staple retailing listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2022 period, while the analysis year used to test the hypothesis is the 2020-2022 period. This study uses a panel data regression approach with the help of eviews version 13. The results of this study find that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, while marketing costs cannot strengthen the influence of product quality on purchasing decisions. This study contributes to future studies because it fills the void of previous studies which have not used secondary data approaches to measure product quality and purchasing decisions

Abstract

The realization of tax revenues in Indonesia for 2017-2022 shows a tendency not to reach the predetermined targets. This is because not a few companies assume that paying taxes can reduce profits so that they take advantage of the weaknesses or gaps (grey areas) that have been regulated in the tax law, namely by taking tax aggressiveness. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and firm size on tax aggressiveness with independent commissioners as moderating variables in the energy, infrastructure, transportation and logistics sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017- 2022 period. Sampling used a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique so that there were thirteen companies as research samples. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that liquidity, leverage, and firm size have a negative effect on tax aggressiveness. Independent commissioners do not moderate the effect of liquidity on tax aggressiveness, while independent commissioners moderate the effect of leverage and firm size on tax aggressiveness.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a comparison between the performance expected by the customer compared to the actual performance in the field. When the actual performance is higher than the customer's expectations, the customer feels satisfied and vice versa. In the case of logistics companies, customer satisfaction is one of the important factors in creating a good business climate, as an example of the case in logistics companies, which have not been maximal in satisfying customer desires. This study aims to analyze customer satisfaction with services at logistics companies, and determine the attributes attributes that need to be prioritized from the company to achieve customer satisfaction. Attributes of service quality are identified from indicators of customer satisfaction as expressed by Zeithmal et al, namely by TRREASE (Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy). The Importance Performance Analysis method at the suitability level compares the level of interest (expectation) with the level of service performance at the Company. The results of the study using the Importance Performance Analysis method for 25 service attributes of logistics companies obtained an average conformity level of 106%. Based on the Cartesian diagram, there are 10 attributes that have a high importance value for customers, but their performance is still unsatisfactory, each attribute is spread in quadrant A.

Abstract

In project development, time and cost are very important factors, because the project can run according to plan. One of the reasons for conducting research on the crew boat construction project at one of the shipyards located in East Java. With a contract value of Rp57,203,300,000 and an agreed time of 250 days. But in the field there was a delay of 22 days, to overcome the delay an analysis was carried out using the Time Cost Trade Off method, and the application of crashing. By using the alternative of adding 3 hours of work (overtime) and alternative shifts. The results of this study show that applying the alternative of 3 working hours results in an optimum cost of Rp57,384,361,320 with an optimum time of 241 days. Meanwhile, the alternative of adding shifts resulted in an optimum cost of Rp59,051,420,070. with an optimum time of 205 days.

Abstract

The research location is in Malang City with a sample of all J.CO Donut's consumers in Malang City. Minimum age of 17 years old, totaling 100 respondents. This study used a questionnaire data collection technique and used a purposive sampling technique. Data processing using SPSS for Windows. The coefficient of determination test, it was found that the contribution of brand image and product quality to the purchasing decision of J.CO Donut's in Malang City was 4.9%. (1) Brand image partially has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions; (2) product quality partially has no positive but significant effect on purchasing decisions; (3) Brand image and product quality simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for J.CO Donuts in Malang City. The author suggests for future researchers, it is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference and input to add insight. For the company, it is expected to be able to maintain the brand image of J.CO Donuts products. For the State Polytechnic of Malang, it is hoped that this research can be used as a reference for further research.
