Abstract

Every 5 years a cargo ship makes 2 repairs to the shipyard. As a shipyard must provide the best service in the service process and improvement results to achieve customer satisfaction. In order to achieve these goals, the basic thing that can be done is to make a plan. The method used is the Critical Path Method (CPM), using the CPM method is still not optimal because there are problems and obstacles related to human behavior. Examples of these problems are student's syndrome, multitasking and overestimated activity durations. According to these problems, namely Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) as an alternative project scheduling solution. Based on the analysis results, the scheduling of the CCPM method produces a duration of 2 days faster than the CPM method.

Abstract

In the company, attendance has an important role in measuring the company's payroll. CV Bee Digital Prestasi Nusantara still manages attendance and payroll data using Ms. Excel where the salary calculation is done with a formula function and the resulting data is still a separate file between attendance and payroll data. This of course raises problems such as the vulnerability of financial employees to errors due to the processing of attendance and payroll data that has not been properly integrated, data that is not stored properly because it has not used a database system in its management, employee payroll reports that must be checked repeatedly according to attendance and results employee performance so that it takes a long time due to considerations of absenteeism, office work, and other interests that must be re-verified by (Human Resource Development) HRD and finance. This website-based application prototype is designed using the SDLC. As for testing, usability testing will be used in order to measure the feasibility of the system optimally. The results of testing using Usability Testing are very feasible with a total value of 86% for Ease of use, 88% for Ease of Learning, 89% for Satisfaction, and 88% for Usefulness

Abstract

The largest shipbuilding company in Indonesia has a business in the development and design capabilities of Warships and Commercial Ships; construction and maintenance, repair and Overhaul (MRO) of Submarines, Warships, Commercial Ships; and maritime products such as General Engineering, energy and electrification products, and Technology Development. It has several divisions, one of which is the supply chain division. The business processes applied to the supply chain division is service procurement department for the ship maintenance and repair business which are still running less effectively. The problem that is often experienced in this business process is the mismatch between the business process flowchart and the reality on the ground which causes delays in the issuance of service procurement contracts. To analyze the service procurement process in the ship maintenance and repair business, this study uses the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method. From the results of quality factors that are still not in accordance with the company's target, a root cause will be carried out using Root Cause Analysis (RCA), namely fishbone analysis. Abstract

Growth of Indonesia's maritime industry has grown rapidly, seen from increase number of domestic ships and loading unloading of goods. Development company will certainly followed by the amount demands from company's stakeholders, so optimization performance is expected to increase value oriented for all parties. Data shows in last 2 years, stock prices of most industries have decreased. This indicates company's performance decreases when demands of the company's stakeholders are high. One way to improve company performance is by implementing good corporate governance (GCG). This study aims to analyze effect of GCG implementation on company performance in sea transportation sub-sector listed on IDX during 2018 - 2020. Research data sources were obtained from IDX and websites of 15 sample companies using purposive sampling method. Statistical test technique used is SEM-PLS with Outer and Inner model. Results of this study indicate that implementation of GCG has a significant negative effect on company performance, The implementation of GCG has no effect on earning management. Earning management has a positive effect on company performance, and earnings management doesn’t mediate relationship between implementation of GCG on company performance. Because implementation of GCG is not optimal, so company tends to be opportunistic and prioritizes itsreputation.

Abstract

The value of international trade in Indonesia shows an increasing trend in 2015-2021. This should be able to increase international trade tax revenues. However, the state has the potential to lose tax revenues due to transfer pricing practices. This study aims to axamine and analyze leverage as a moderating variable of the effect tax minimization on transfer pricing of multinational companies. This study uses quantitative data. The object of research is the energy, infrastructure, transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2021 period. Sampling used purposive sampling technique so that eight multinational companies were obtained as research samples. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis and simple regression analysis. The result show that tax minimization has a positive effect on transfer pricing decisions. The existence of asymmetric information makes management take advantage of gaps in tax regulations between different countries to decide on transfer pricing. Leverage moderates the effect of tax minimization on transfer pricing decisions. Positive accounting theory explains that companies that have debt will be more aggressive in tax minimization.

Abstract

The operations of a printing company were disrupted due to many wastes that caused delays in sending customer orders. Hence, improvement programs are designed based on the design thinking process. During the empathize phase, information from several customers, employees, and the owner are gathered focused on the difficulties they experienced and their needs as well as expectations. Further interviews and detailed observations were conducted to define the problem and set the goal. It is proceeded with the generation of several solution ideas that end with the selection of a suitable solution and method. The chosen alternative solution is improvement in the work area that based on the literature review can be realized through the implementation of 5S (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke) and Work Improvement in Small Enterprise (WISE) programs. Then, several data collection, analysis, and design processes were carried out in the prototype stage. The 5S and WISE checklists were assessed. Several action plans were identified based on the assessment results including improvements in material storage and handling, workplace design, machine safety, physical environment, electrical hazard protection, fire prevention, welfarefacilities, and work organization. To guide the implementation, all the proposed actions were divided into short, medium, and long term. The proposed actions were evaluated by the owner and managers. Finally, several short-term actions were implemented.

This hospital ship construction project was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic so its implementation the physical progress of the shipbuilding project was not in accordance with the planned physical progress and the shipbuilding project was delayed. The purpose of this study to identify risks in the implementation of the hospital ship construction project during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method that can be used to handle and minimize risks in hospital shipbuildingprojects during the COVID-19 pandemic is the House of Risk (HOR) method. The results of the research on the hospital ship building project during the COVID-19 pandemic found 17 risk events and 20 risk agents. From HOR Phase 1, 11 dominant risk agents were produced with the highest Aggregrate Risk Potentials (ARP) value of 3438.5. Then in HOR Phase 2, 19 mitigation actions were obtained and from the 19 mitigation actions, 12 effective priority mitigation actions were obtained to be implemented by the company with the highest Effectiveness to Difficulty Ratio (ETD) value of 27444.05.
