Abstract

School or Madrasah Standard Management (MBSM) is an educational concept that strives to improve the quality, efficiency, and benefits in the education process through the active participation of the madrasah committee, teachers, students, parents, and the surrounding community as a form of support and full involvement in the education process. In implementing MBSM, all relevant parties such as the madrasah committee, school principal, teachers, students, parents, and the surrounding community can be involved to achieve sustainable educational goals. Through active cooperation from all parties, it is expected that the concept of MBSM can be achieved and provide significant benefits in the world of education, as well as advancing MA Muhammadiyah Tempurrejo Ngawi with an appropriate concept. Then, with the Total Quality Management (TQM) approach method at Lembaga Muhammadiyah in developing MBS to support independence and explore all potential that exists within the students themselves and this is one of the improvements of MA Muhammadiyah Tempurrejo Ngawi which has established dormitories (Al-Ihsan). Although the policy application is still less optimal, the active dormitory management tries to organize these policies with TQM to improve quality, improve dormitory programs, administrative services, and the emergence of teachers in active and effective leadership. This can help students achieve their full potential, create an innovative and comfortable learning environment, and contribute or socialize with the surrounding community of the dormitory.

Abstract

The principal's managerial skills are instrumental in determining the success of the school's education programme. Principals need to be able to fulfil their roles as educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders and motivators, which require special skills and a deep understanding of school dynamics. Research at SMPN 02 Bandar Mataram shows that the principal has succeeded in carrying out his role well, so that school management runs effectively, despite facing challenges from the work ethic of education personnel. These challenges come from internal factors, including cultural diversity, educational, economic and social backgrounds, as well as external factors, such as work wages, work climate, attitude cultivation and time allocation. In overcoming these obstacles, principals strengthen communication and cooperation among education personnel, and increase their motivation and commitment to their duties and responsibilities. The right approach creates a conducive work environment, which in turn improves the work ethic of education personnel. The positive impact of these efforts can be seen in the achievement of educational goals at the school, ensuring that planned programmes can run optimally and deliver the expected results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbandingan perencanaan manajemen sumber daya manusia di Pesantren Mahasiswa Telaga Ilmu, yang mengelola dua kelompok santri dengan karakteristik berbeda: santri mukim dan santri kalong. Santri mukim tinggal di dalam lingkungan pesantren dan mengikuti seluruh kegiatan secara penuh selama 24 jam, sementara santri kalong hanya hadir selama jam pembelajaran dan kembali ke rumah atau asrama mereka setelah kegiatan selesai. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan seorang mahasantri dan musyrif pesantren, serta observasi langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis tematik, yang melibatkan beberapa tahap utama untuk memahami perbandingan perencanaan manajemen sumber daya manusia di Pesantren Mahasiswa Telaga Ilmu. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi ditranskrip dan direduksi untuk menyaring informasi yang relevan. Selanjutnya, data disajikan dalam bentuk tema-tema yang mencerminkan pola utama, seperti perbedaan manajemen antara santri mukim dan santri kalong, serta strategi pembinaan karakter. Tema-tema ini kemudian diinterpretasikan untuk menarik kesimpulan yang memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai manajemen pesantren, serta rekomendasi untuk perbaikan atau pengembangan lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam perencanaan manajemen, santri mukim mendapatkan pembinaan karakter yang lebih intensif, khususnya dalam aspek disiplin, melalui penerapan aturan ketat terkait pelanggaran ringan dan berat. Pengawasan ketat yang dilakukan sepanjang hari bertujuan membentuk santri mukim menjadi individu yang disiplin dan bertanggung jawab. Santri kalong yang tidak tinggal di pesantren diberikan program yang lebih fleksibel, namun tetap diarahkan pada pengembangan kompetensi kerja dan pendidikan keagamaan.

Abstract

The curriculum is essentially a component content that is crucial in the educational environment. Curriculum management is a measure of the success and quality of an educational institution in the implementation of learning activities. Therefore, the author aims to analyse the problematic curriculum as well as how the curriculum development strategy is used in madrasas. This article uses a qualitative method with a pattern of interviews and observations to collect information which is then reviewed by the literature study method.  The results of this mini research are: 1) Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Muhammadiyah 2 Jenangan Ponorogo experiences several problems in implementing the new curriculum, so good management is needed to support the implementation of the curriculum in accordance with the curriculum objectives. 2) The final result in the implementation of the curriculum in this madrasa, the institution has several strategies to support the implementation of the new curriculum with a project-based work programme, so that students can freely express themselves while honing their skills to live the values contained in the new curriculum. 3) One form of curriculum strategy evaluation is by utilising Information Technology (IT) as an infrastructure tool that supports the performance of teachers and students in learning and learning activities, so that the use of IT can be collaborated with other strategies.  In addition, the implementation of the curriculum also requires the cooperation of all school members as well as parents of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai teknik dan tata cara pelaksanaan evaluasi dan monitoring di sekolah tersebut, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologis untuk memahami pengalaman subjektif para guru dan staf di SDN 5 Jurug terkait dengan proses evaluasi dan monitoring hasil belajar siswa. Melalui pendekatan ini, peneliti berusaha menggali makna di balik tindakan, persepsi, dan interpretasi yang dilakukan oleh para informan dalam pelaksanaan evaluasi dan monitoring. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga teknik utama: wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara mendalam bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi rinci mengenai pandangan dan pengalaman para guru, kepala sekolah, serta staf yang terlibat langsung dalam evaluasi dan monitoring. Observasi partisipatif memungkinkan peneliti untuk melihat secara langsung bagaimana proses tersebut berlangsung di lapangan, sehingga peneliti dapat menangkap nuansa yang tidak selalu muncul dalam wawancara. Selain itu, dokumentasi berupa laporan evaluasi, catatan rapat, dan dokumen terkait lainnya digunakan untuk memperkaya data yang diperoleh. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis fenomenologis, yang melibatkan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyusunan tema, dan interpretasi. Proses reduksi data dilakukan untuk menyederhanakan dan mengorganisir data sehingga memudahkan dalam penyusunan tema-tema yang relevan. Selanjutnya, tema-tema tersebut diinterpretasikan untuk menemukan makna dari setiap fenomena yang diamati dalam konteks evaluasi dan monitoring di SDN 5 Jurug. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam pelaksanaan evaluasi dan monitoring di sekolah dasar, serta memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan teori dalam bidang evaluasi dan monitoring pendidikan, khususnya di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan konsep dan penerapan prinsip serta teknik supervisi pendidikan, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah melalui pengembangan kemampuan guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pihak sekolah yang melaksanakan supervisi pendidikan serta melalui penelitian bibliografi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif-kualitatif, yang melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi pendidikan berperan penting dalam membantu dan mendukung guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan mereka, terutama dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran secara efektif. Hasil penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa supervisi pendidikan, yang bertujuan memberikan nasehat dan bimbingan kepada guru, memiliki fungsi utama untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Prinsip-prinsip dan teknik-teknik supervisi yang tepat diperlukan untuk menciptakan nilai pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien, serta untuk memecahkan permasalahan pembelajaran secara mandiri oleh guru. Artikel ini memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana supervisi pendidikan dapat diterapkan secara efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil pendidikan di sekolah.

Abstract

Progressive steps must be taken immediately to improve the quality of madrasa management. The management hopes a paradigm, approach, and creative change will be realised systematically and continuously in the teacher's mentality. In improving it, it is indeed challenging to apply the techniques of Islamic institutions. However, all efforts to improve the quality of these concepts can have positive implications in the future. To achieve management work goals, create coordination and communicate with representatives in a way that guarantees results, good management requires more practice in relationship management. Implementing madrasah-based management (MBM) to improve the quality of Islamic education is necessary and must be implemented immediately. MBM has madrasah autonomy in determining decision-making. MBM aims to strengthen madrasas. Lastly, madrasas can improve the abilities of all madrasah residents so that madrasas can take the initiative and innovate to improve the quality of learning in madrasah.

Abstract

This article examines the philosophical and theoretical foundations that underpin economic growth and the development of educational technology. The main aim of this research is to explain the relevance of educational philosophy and theory in the context of using technology to improve student achievement. Constructivism, behaviorism, and humanism are some of the main philosophical strands, while constructivism, cognitivism, and social learning theories are the main educational theories studied. The current methodology for conducting research combines literary criticism and critical analysis of the theory and practical applications used in educational technology. The results of this study indicate that a strong educational philosophical understanding is an important element in the development of effective teaching technology. In addition, the proper integration of learning theory into the design and application of teaching technology can improve student interaction, participation, and use of materials. The research findings have important implications for educational practice and advances in teaching technology. They hope to incorporate philosophical and theoretical foundations into the development and application of educational technology to create responsive, inclusive and effective learning environments. It is important to carry out longer studies and undertake exploratory research to fully understand the implications of this concept and evaluate its impact on rigorous and high-quality undergraduate education

Abstract

Education is a process of forming human character through learning media. The progress of a nation can be seen from the quality of its education. When a nation or country is advanced, it can be said that the education of that nation or country has very good quality. Because education also has an important role in life. Nowadays, it is very important to instill religious education in children because the rapid development of technology makes some parents unable to supervise their children always in using technology. Therefore, it is very necessary to instill Islamic education in life. The research method used was an interview with one of the leaders of the Darul Madinah Islamic boarding school and analyzing journals. One of the applications in instilling Islamic education in children is by putting children in Islamic boarding schools. There are two types of Islamic boarding schools today, namely modern Islamic boarding schools and traditional Islamic boarding schools. Modern Islamic boarding schools are usually very neat in their management and administration and the implementation of education is balanced between formal education and religious education. In this study, the author uses the object of the Darul Madinah Madiun Islamic Boarding School because the modern boarding school and the communication management system with the parents of the students are very clear and organized. So that it is easier for the parents of the students to monitor the development of their children's education properly, because the one who accompanies the students for 24 hours is the caregiver and not the parents of the students themselves. The Darul Madinah Madiun Islamic Boarding School has several strategies that are applied in communicating with the parents of the students. One of them is by using current technology that exists

Abstract

This article is to assess and comprehend Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ponorogo Islamic Center's execution of Islamic education program management. This study combines a descriptive analytic method with a qualitative article approach. Descriptive analysis was used for data gathering, with a focus on the administration of Islamic education programs and the elements that help or impede their implementation. At the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ponorogo Islamic Center, a variety of relevant parties, including instructors, students, and parents, participated in the article. The article results show that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamic Center Ponorogo has a unique approach in implementing curriculum management. The integration of Islamic values, ethical education, and a holistic approach are characteristic of the learning process. Supporting factors for implementing curriculum management include awareness of the importance of ethical education as a foundation, integration of Al-Qur'an values in every aspect of life, and various extracurricular programs outside of school. On the other hand, obstacles arise in rapid adaptation to curriculum changes and lack of coordination with participants from the Ministries of Religious Affairs and Education. This article provides an in-depth picture of how Islamic education curriculum management at the MI Islamic Center Ponorogo can create a holistic learning environment based on Islamic values. These results can aid in the development of tactics and guidelines for Islamic education, especially at the elementary level, in order to increase its effectiveness and relevance to the demands of the times
