Project-based learning and collaboration also have the potential to foster empathy, responsibility, and social awareness. However, effective implementation requires a deep understanding of the stages of children's moral development and appropriate teaching strategies. In conclusion, the Independent Curriculum has significant potential in supporting the moral development of elementary school children, but its success is highly dependent on planned and adaptive implementation.
