Abstract

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, as one of the busiest air transport hubs in Indonesia, plays a crucial role in supporting national economic growth and mobility. With the increasing number of passengers, particularly at Terminal 3, an evaluation of the capacity and quality of existing facilities is necessary to ensure efficient and comfortable services. The study results indicate that currently, some facilities still meet IATA standards with a Level of Service (LOS) of A. However, passenger growth projections show a significant increase, with international passenger numbers expected to rise by 57.32% and domestic passenger numbers by 44.80% by 2027. As a result, several facilities are predicted to be inadequate to accommodate this growth, including departure kerbs, passport control, baggage claim areas, restrooms, seating, and parking capacity. This study highlights the importance of upgrading and adjusting terminal facilities to accommodate the future surge in passenger numbers, ensuring service quality and passenger satisfaction at the airport.

Abstract

PT Mustika Alam Lestari is one of the companies engaged in port services in Indonesia. The company focuses on providing loading and unloading services at port terminals, as well as managing other supporting facilities related to port activities. PT Mustika Alam Lestari (MAL) was selected as a partner of PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI) in the operation of Berths and Stacking Fields 214 and 300 as a “multipurpose” terminal at Tanjung Priok port. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Based on the results of the Fishbone analysis, several main factors that hinder the loading and unloading process at Terminal Mustika Alam Lestari were identified, namely the Man, Method, Machine, and Enviroment factors. Based on the identification of obstacles above, several recommendations can be taken to minimize inhibiting factors and improve loading and unloading performance: HR Training and Development, Process and Method Optimization, Equipment Maintenance and Modernization, and Handling External Conditions.

Abstract

PT. Azure Samudera Karsa is a company engaged in the marine sector that focuses on ship surveys (Marine inspection/survey) & seafarer certificates (Marine ceritifcation services) & Procurement of Goods (Provision Supply). The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of employee performance and service quality on customer loyalty at PT. Azure Samudera Karsa. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, involving 84 respondents using a sampling technique with the Slovin formula and using a questionnaire (Likert scale) and library research. And hypothesis testing using SPSS version 23. Data analysis used descriptive statistical tests, data instrument tests (validity tests and reliability tests), classical hypothesis tests including normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis tests (partial tests or t tests and F tests). The results of the regression analysis showed that employee performance and service quality variables had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The results of the t test showed that employee performance and service quality had a significant partial effect on customer loyalty. Based on the results of the F test, it was found that employee performance and service quality simultaneously have a significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Aerospace company faces inefficiencies in warehouse layout and frequent occurrences of both shortages and surpluses of aircraft components. This study employs causal forecasting methods to predict component demand over the next five years and implements the Class Based Storage method. The results show annual demand fluctuations ranging from 651 to 829 items, with high forecasting accuracy. The optimization of the warehouse layout using Class Based Storage successfully enhances storage efficiency and space utilization, contributing to the development of effective warehouse management strategies.

Abstract

In the current development of globalization, one of the industrial sectors that continues to grow every year is the cement industry because cement is the main material in the construction process. Research institutions state that cement contributes around 8% of the world's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and the largest comes from industrial processes and product use (IPPU) so that the concept of environmentally friendly logistics can be implemented to reduce CO2 emissions. This study uses the Dynamic System method. The results of the study show that the use of alternative raw materials and alternative fuels can reduce CO2 emissions generated from the cement production process. This is evidenced by the results of the first scenario, namely Business as Usual, which is 334.90 KgCO2, then decreased by 38.2% or to 207.02 KgCO2 in the second scenario, namely the use of alternative raw materials, and in the third scenario, namely the use of alternative fuels, it also decreased by 68.9% or to 100.88 KgCO2.

Abstract

In a company that provides transportation and distribution services for bulk cement materials. The problem is the increasing delay that comes from waste in the cement distribution process. The purpose of this study is to find out the existing business processes and identify waste to make business processes more effective. The method used to conduct the research is Value stream Mapping, to facilitate the waste identification process, the Activity Mapping tool is used. Waste that has been identified is categorized according to seven waste. Based on the root cause of waste, a proposal for improvement is designed using the streamlining method. After being given a proposal to improve the recommendation, it can be described as a prediction of the future state map and the final result will be validated by simulation using Arena Software. Based on the results of the research, there are 2 categories of waste found in the process of shipping goods, the identified waste is waiting and transportation. After being given recommendations for proposed improvements, it is known that it can cut the process time by 9 hours and 10 minutes or 44% of the total cycle time.
