<![CDATA[Mastectomy is one of the recommended surgical procedures for breast cancer patients. As a result of this action the patient will experience a disturbance in self-image. Social support is believed to be able to influence the occurrence of an increase in one's body image, because with the involvement or acceptance of the closest people it can help in the progress of one's re-integrity so that individuals can accept the physical changes that occur in themselves. The objective of this study is to identify the relationship between social support with self-image in patients with ca mamae post mastectomy at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital. This study was conducted on 30 respondents using a descriptive correlative methodology with a cross-sectional approach and using simple random sampling technique. The instruments used social support and self-image questionnaire on post-mastectomy patients which have been tested for validity and reliability. Statistical test using Spearman correlation test. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between social support and self-image in post-mastectomy breast cancer patients at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital Medan. Statistical test using Spearman correlation test showed p value <0.005 (p value = 0.002). It is concluded that there is a relationship between social support and self-image in post-mastectomy mammary patients at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital Medan in 2022]]>

<![CDATA[The level of stress experienced by some students, parenting is very valuable or important. Parenting is the relationship between children and parents during parenting activities. Coping strategy is a way to solve or change the situation in solving the problem at hand. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and stress levels with coping mechanisms in mid-age adolescents at Senior High School Parulian 1 Medan. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling as many as 115 respondents. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between stress levels and coping mechanisms with a p-value of 0.001 and there is no relationship between parenting patterns and coping mechanism with a p-value of 0.775 in middle age adolescents at Senior High School Parulian 1 Medan. There is a significant relationship between stress level with coping mechanisms. This shows that the better the coping mechanisms coping mechanisms used, the lighter the level of stress experienced and the researcher argues that parenting is not related to coping mechanisms. Researchers argue that parenting does not relate to coping mechanisms because there are several other factors that influence because there are several other influencing factors such aspersonality type, family personality, family communication, juvenile delinquency, self-concept and other factors one's environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Hemodialysis is a treatment that can prevent death but cannot cure nor compensate for the loss of kidney metabolism or endocrine activity, and the impact of the kidneys and their treatment on quality of life. Hemodialysis results in various biopsychosocial complications that require health professionals to understand and be able to provide holistic services. The aim of this research is to explore and explore the experiences of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis in dealing with their complaints. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive phenomenological study. Data collection was carriedout using in-depth interviews. There were 10 participants in this study who were selected using a purposive sampling technique, participants who underwent hemodialysis for more than 6 months and were more than 18 years old. The interviews were carried out at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital, the researcher had a contract with the participants and the researcher visited the participants while they were undergoing dialysis. The interview results were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method and 5 themes were found in the results of the interviews with the participants. The themes found were (1) the causes of hemodialysis (dialysis), (2) experiencing physical, psychological, social complaints and disruption of spiritual activities following, (3) trying to find medical and traditional therapy to overcome the complaints felt, (4) obstacles hemodialysis patients in following a diet and limiting fluids, (5) satisfaction of hemodialysis patients in carrying out routine dialysis at Murni Teguh Memorial hospital. Based on the research results, it is recommended that nurses in providing nursing services be able to provide services with a great sense of empathy and pay attention to patient care holistically (psychosocial spiritual) so as to achieve better service and increase the enthusiasm of patients with hemodialysis in undergoing therapy regularly.]]>

<![CDATA[Nursing care documentation is a documentation that contains complete, real, and recorded data, not only about the level of client pain, but also the type or type, quality, and quantity of health services in meeting needs. Nursing care that is not documented accurately and completely will make it difficult to prove that the nursing care has been carried out correctly. The objective of this study is to analyze the comparison of work motivation in inpatient and operating unit in the implementation of documentation. The research design uses a cross-sectional approach in quantitative research. The sample in this study was 20 respondents using purposive sampling. Data was analyzed using Independent paired T-Test. The results of the statistical test between the motivation of inpatient room nurses and the motivation of operating room nurses in the implementation of nursing documentation using the Independent t-test statistical test showed that there was a comparison between the motivation of inpatient room nurses and operating room nurses with a p value <005, namely 0.010. It is concluded that therewas a comparison between the nurses’s work motivation in inpatient and operating unit at Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital, Jakarta.]]>

<![CDATA[Hospitalization is a condition where a person is in a situation that requires medical treatment in a hospital to relieve diseases or conditions that often occur in adults and children, hospitalization often occurs in children due to several impacts, one of which is anxiety. Anxiety is an excessive feeling or emotional response to a condition of fear, anxiety, worry that is felt by children. Art therapy is a picture coloring activity that gives children the opportunity to express themselves freely so that they can distract children from anxiety due to pain. This study used a pre experimental design and used the Pre test – Post Test Design method. Sampling using purposive sampling with a total sample of 28 respondents. The research instrument used was an anxiety questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there was an effect of art therapy coloring sketches on the anxiety level of preschool children (3-6 years) in undergoing hospitalization at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital Medan, the Wilcoxon statistical test results showed p value < 0.05 (p value = 0.000). It is concluded that there is an effect of art therapy coloring sketches on the level of anxiety of preschool children (3-6 years) in undergoing hospitalization at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital Medan.]]>

<![CDATA[Breast cancer is a health problem that often occurs and often causes death. The objective of this study is to determine the differences in the effectiveness of hand massage and lavender aromatherapy on reducing pain in breast cancer patients at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital. The research method is quasy experimental study with two groups pretest postest study design. In this design, the two groups assigned different treatments for this research. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the effectiveness of hand massage and lavender aromatherapy on reducing patient’s pain where the average value (mean) of the decrease in the two groups was 2.95 in the aromatherapy group and 2.62 in the hand massage group. It is concluded that Lavender aromatherapy is more effectivewhen compared to hand massage.]]>

<![CDATA[Hypertension is a condition in which there is an increase in blood pressure above normal, namely systolic 140 mmHg indicates the phase of blood being pumped by the heart and the diastolic phase 90 mmHg indicates the phase of blood returning to the heart. Hypertension is a medical condition with a high prevalence. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Foot Reflexology on Reducing Blood Pressure in Hypertensive Patients. This study used a quasi-experimental without a control group with a sample size of 29 people and a total sampling technique. The bivariate test is a paired t-test. The results of the studyusing the paired t-test showed that the average blood pressure with a difference in pretest and posttest values was p-value = 0.000 (systolic), p-value = 0.000 (diastolic) where the significance value was p <0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of foot reflexology massage treatment on blood pressure. Physiologically, providing foot reflexology massage therapy can increase blood flow.]]>

<![CDATA[Emotional parental attachment that occurs between parents and their offspring (Parental Bonding) as well as individual Self-Esteem is one of the possible factors in the development of adolescent sexual behavior. The lack of parental role is considered to influence the increase in sexual behavior. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between parental bonding and self-esteem with sexual behavior in middle-aged adolescents at Parulian 1 Senior High School Medan. The method used quantitative methods with a cross sectional approach. The sample size was selected using a total sampling technique of 147 respondents. The relationship between variables was analyzed using the Spearman Rho statistical test. The results of study research shows that Parental Bonding has a significant relationship with adolescent sexual behavior with p-value < 0,005, but Self-Esteem does not have a significant relationship with adolescent sexual behavior with p-value > 0,005. It is recommended for future researchers to add the variables such as parenting patterns, peer influence, pornographic media influence, and knowledge.]]>

<![CDATA[Orphanage is a social institution that provides programs for the needs of the community, the phenomenon of problems that often occur in children in the form of negative emotions, such as feelings of lack of attention from caregivers which causes discomfort, tends to keep their problems to themselves, often feels sad when remembering the existence of parents and family who are far away or are already orphans, regulations that are too strict, and orphanages do not provide opportunities for their foster children to make their own decisions. The purpose of this study is the relationship between self-compassion and resilience in school-age children - adolescents at the Anugerah Kasih Abadi Medan Estate orphanage. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional survey research design. The sampling technique in this study was Total Sampling and 56 respondents. Data analysis used the Pearson correlation parametric test. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between Self-compassion and resilience with a p-value = 0.046 (α <0.05). It can be concluded that there isa relationship between self-compassion and resilience in school-age children - adolescents at the Anugerah Kasih Abadi Medan Estate orphanage. It is recommended for further researchers to add variables, social support, optimism, factors that support psychological well-being and individual ability to overcome difficulties.]]>

<![CDATA[Smoking behavior is a person's activity as a response to a stressful stimulus that influences his or her actions to carry out smoking activities. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between stress levels and coping mechanisms with smoking behavior in middle adolescents in X Senior High School at Bandung City. The objective of this study is to identify the relationship of stress level and Coping mechanism with smoking behaviour on middle adolescent. The research method is Quantitative with cross sectional design. The population in this research was all 300 children in their middle adolescents who attended.The sampling technique was random sampling. The number of samples in this study was 171 respondents using the Slovin formula. Data analysis used the Spearman Rho test and Manova test. The results of this research using the Spearman test show that there is a relationship between stress level and coping mechanisms and smoking behavior with p- value < 0.05. The Manova test explains that there is a relationship between stress level and smoking behavior with p-value <0.05. On the other hand, there is no relationship between coping mechanisms and smoking behavior with p-value > 0.05. It is recommended toconduct further research by adding social pressure variables.]]>
